Product Name: XFIT

XFIT is a car audio system designed for use in Skoda Octavia 5E and Skoda Superb 3V models. The package includes:

• 2x Connector 005
• 2x HS25 VW EVO2
• 2x LSR GOLF IV EVO
• 2x MBR165
• 2x Connector 011
• 2x FWK TW EVO
• 2x AS 165 EM EVO
• 2x FWK MW
• 8x Screw 3.5×20

The system also includes optional mounting accessories such as ALUBUTYL damping material, Doorkit damping kits, and Z-(T)SC oxygen-free speaker cable.

Product Usage Instructions

Mechanical Installation Tip: X-Series

The mechanical installation of the XFIT car audio system is important for sound quality. We recommend changing the polarity of the tweeter to find the best possible sound. It is best to listen and/or measure it.

Install Tweeter Mounting

Important: The tweeter has a vehicle-specific mounting for Volkswagen cars. The original equipment manufacturer (OEM) tweeter is plastic molded into the car. Please cut or open the moldings carefully and mold in or glue the new tweeters.

Tweeter (Crossover FWK TW EVO)

• Application: Connect to Connector 005 and to Tweeter
• Mounting Options: Tweeter in Mirror Cover, Tweeter in Door Panel, or Tweeter in A-Pillar

Midrange Speaker (Crossover FWK MW)
Please connect the crossover FWK MW with car connector and AS 165 EM EVO. It is a non-configurable fixed crossover.

Spritzwasserschutz MBR165 (Rain Protection MBR165)

Please attach the rain protection MBR165 between the speaker adapter LSR GOLF IV EVO and speaker AS 165 EVO. The water cap must be upward of the magnet. In some cases, the rain protection has to be cut for proper fitting with a suitable tool (scissor, cutter, etc).

Tweeter (Crossover FWK TW EVO)

Important: The speaker system can be adapted to the particular acoustics of the vehicle, the genre of music and to the personal taste via the crossover. Depending on the position of the speakers, the switch can be adjusted so that the frequency response is optimized with these geometric conditions. Depending on the installation location of the tweeter, it is necessary to adjust the frequency response tonal and volume technology, e.g. when mounting the tweeter in the A-pillar, in the mirror triangle or in the door trim.
Attention: Free cable ends must be isolated.
Non-compliance can lead to a short circuit!

Rain Protection MBR165

Please attach the rain protection MBR165 between speaker adapter LSR GOLF IV EVO and speaker AS 165 EVO.
