Product Usage Instructions

1. Remove the filter cover.
2. Remove the cylindrical filter.
3. Unpack the new filter.
4. Put the filter back in the appliance.
5. Close the filter cover.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
READ THE INSTRUCTION MANUAL CAREFULLY BEFORE USE AND RETAIN IT FOR LATER REFERENCE!

WARNINGS

1. Before using the product for the first time, please read the instructions for use below and retain them. The original instructions were written in the Hungarian language.
2. This appliance may only be used by persons with impaired physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lacking in experience or knowledge, as well as children from the age of 8, if they are under supervision or have been given instruction concerning the use of the appliance and they have understood the hazards associated with use. Children should not be allowed to play with the unit. Children may only clean or perform user maintenance on the appliance under supervision.
3. Make sure that the appliance has not been damaged in transit!
4. The device must not be equipped with a programmable switch, timer switch or separate remote control systems, etc. which can turn on the unit independently, because possible covering or improper installation of the product may ause an accident.
5. Do not use in locations where flammable vapors or explosive dust may be present. Do not use near-flammable materials or in potentially explosive atmospheres!
6. Do not use the appliance if you use insecticide spray in the room.
7. Do not use where oil vapor, flammable gases or chemical process gases may be present.
8. Operate only under constant supervision!
9. Do not operate unattended in the presence of children!
10.  Only for indoor use, in a dry place. Protect from humidity (e.g. bathrooms, swimming pools)!
11.  It is PROHIBITED to use the unit near bathtubs, basins, showers, swimming pools or saunas!
12. It is prohibited to use the appliance in motor vehicles or in confined spaces (<5 m2) such as elevators!
13.  When not planning to use the unit for an extended period of time, switch it off then remove the power plug from the outlet!
14. Always power off the appliance before relocating it!
15. If any irregular operation is detected (e.g., unusual noise or burnt odor from the unit), immediately switch it off and remove the power plug!
16. Make sure that no foreign objects or liquid can enter the appliance through the openings.
17. Do not cover the air inlets and outlets!
18. Do not place anything above the device!
19. Do not place under air conditioning to prevent the machine from condensing water dripping into it.
20. Only to be used with the AIR 18 WIFI/S filter!
21. The use of the product is not a substitute for regular ventilation and dust removal, and it does not have a kitchen hood extractor or extractor function!
22. Protect it from dust, humidity, sunlight and direct heat radiation.
23.  Power off the unit by unplugging it from the electric outlet prior to cleaning!
24. Do not touch the unit or the power cable with wet hands!
25. The appliance may only be connected to 230 V~ / 50 Hz electric wall outlets!
26. Unwind the power cable completely!
27. Do not lead the power cable over the appliance!
28. Do not lead the power cable under carpets, doormats, etc.!
29. The appliance should be located so as to allow easy access and removal of the power plug!
30. Lead the power cable so as to prevent it from being pulled out accidentally or tripped over!
31. The unit is intended for household use. No industrial use is permitted!
32. Due to continuous improvements the design and specifications may change without any prior notice.

35. We do not accept any liability for any damage caused by commissioning, use, cleaning or replacement of the filter insert other than those specified in this instruction manual.

Caution: Risk of electric shock! Do not attempt to disassemble of modify the unit or its accessories. In case any part is damaged, immediately power off the unit and seek the assistance of a specialist.
In the event that the power cable should become damaged, it should only be replaced by the manufacturer, its service facility or similarly qualified personnel.

PUTTING INTO USE

1. Remove the packaging.
2. Set the device on a table, a solid, level surface.
3. Leave a space of 30 cm around and 50 cm above the appliance.
4. Do not place it under an air conditioning unit; prevent condensate water from entering the appliance.
5. Remove the filter cover on the bottom of the appliance (Figure 2).
6. Remove the cylindrical filter, and unpack it.
7. Put the filter back in the appliance.
8. Close the filter cover (Figure 2).
9. Fully unwind the power cord.
10.  Avoid covering the air inlet and outlet.
11.  Connect the appliance to the mains (230 V~ / 50 Hz).
12.  The appliance beeps and the display LEDs flash briefly.
13.  Now the unit is ready for operation!

CLEANING, FILTER CHECKING, AND REPLACEMENT

For optimal operation, the appliance must be cleaned and the condition of the filter cartridge checked at least every two weeks. The service life of the filter cartridge is 62 days under normal use. After prolonged use, the filter can be a hotbed for microorganisms. Before cleaning or filter cartridge replacement, turn off the appliance and disconnect it from the power supply by pulling out the plug.
Cleaning: Clean the air inlet and outlet using a vacuum cleaner with a brush head. Clean the outside of the appliance with a slightly damp cloth. Do not use aggressive cleaning agents! Do not let water leak inside the appliance or spill on electrical components. Cleaning the filter cartridge: Remove the filter from the appliance (Figure 2). Remove dirt from the outer surface of the filter using a soft cloth. Do not wash or vacuum the filter cartridge. Replace the filter cartridge if the HEPA filter turns dark grey, but in all cases when the indicator light turns red on the appliance (9). Filter cartridge replacement: Filter cartridge part number: AIR 18 WIFI/S. Follow the steps shown on Figure 2. Press and hold the button to reset the sensor. The red indicator light will go out.

TROUBLESHOOTING

The appliance does not turn on.

The appliance is too noisy.

DISPOSAL

Waste equipment must be collected and disposed of separately from household waste because it may contain components hazardous to the environment or health. Used or waste equipment may be dropped off free of charge at the point of sale, or at any distributor which sells equipment of identical nature and function. Dispose of products at a facility specializing in the collection of electronic waste. By doing so, you will protect the environment as well as the health of others and yourself. If you have any questions, contact the local waste management organization. We shall undertake the tasks pertinent to the manufacturer as prescribed in the relevant regulations and shall bear any associated costs arising.
