Metropolitan N7811-726 Soho 1 Light Coal and Soft Brass Cage Mini Pendant
Product Information
The product is an indoor ceiling light fixture with a metal ring and glass
shade. The fixture requires one medium base bulb up to 60 watts each or CFL or
LED equivalent (not included). The fixture comes with a mounting plate, ground
screw, mounting screws, and
all-thread rods. The product has a maximum wattage rating that should not be
exceeded.
Product Usage Instructions
- Shut off power at the fuse box or circuit breaker box and remove old fixture including the mounting hardware.
- Carefully unpack the new fixture and lay out all the parts in a clear area. Take care not to misplace any small parts necessary for installation.
- Determine the desired hanging height and thread rods (F1, F2, and F3) to all thread (G) on the fixture body.
- Attach the canopy (D) by threading onto rod (F1). Carefully pass wires through each rod during assembly. Note: Remove all thread if installing with one 6 rod only.
- Attach the mounting plate (A) to the junction box (not included) with mounting screws (B). The side of mounting plate (A) marked GND and two convex points must face out.
- Connect electrical wires as shown in Fig 2, making sure that all wire connectors are secured. If your junction box has a groundwire (green or bare copper), connect the fixture’s ground wire to it. Otherwise, connect the fixture’s ground wire directly to mounting plate (A) using the green screw provided. Tuck wire connectors neatly inside the junction box.
- Place the canopy (D) over the mounting plate (A) and secure with screws (E).
- Place the glass shade (J) into the metal ring (H) and secure the shade by adjusting each screw (I) on the metal mesh holder (C).
- Install one medium base bulb (K) up to 60 watts each or CFL or LED equivalent (not included) in accordance with the fixture specification. DO NOT EXCEED THE MAXIMUM WATTAGE RATING!
- Return power to the junction box and test the fixture.
WARNING ! SHUT POWER OFF AT FUSE OR CIRCUIT BREAKER .

Carefully unpack your new fixture and lay out all the parts in a clear area. Take care not to misplace any small parts necessary for installation.
ASSEMBLING THE FIXTURE (Fig. 1) -
Determine the desired hanging height and thread rods (F1, F2 and F3) to all thread (G) on fixture body. Attach canopy (D) by threading onto rod (F1). Carefully pass wires through each rod during assembly. Note: Remove all thread, if installing with one 6” rod only.

Attach mounting plate (A) to junction box (not included) with mounting screws (B) (Size: #8-32N*L0.5”). The side of mounting plate (A) marked “GND” and two convex points must face out.
CONNECTING THE WIRES (Fig. 2) -
Connect electrical wires as shown in Fig 2, making sure that all wire connectors are secured. If your junction box has a ground wire (green or bare copper), connect fixture’s ground wire to it. Otherwise, connect the fixture’s ground wire directly to mounting plate (A) using green screw provided.

Tuck wire connectors neatly inside the junction box.
COMPLETING THE INSTALLATION (Fig. 1) -
Place canopy (D) over mounting plate (A) and secure with screws (E).

Place glass shade (J) into metal ring (H) and secure shade by adjusting each screw (I) on metal mesh holder (C).

Install (1) one medium base bulb (K) up to 60 watts each or CFL or LED equivalent (not included) in accordance with the fixture specification—DO NOT EXCEED THE MAXIMUM WATTAGE RATING! (NE PAS DEPASSER LA PUISSANCE NOMINALE MAXIMALE!).
Your installation is now complete. Return power to the junction box and test
fixture.
