Member Management
The Member Management feature is available on the SmartLife App by Tuya.
This feature allows users to add family members and other members to their
home network. Users can also set unlock methods for other members.
Usage Instructions
Follow the steps below to use the Member Management feature:
Add Family Members
- Open the SmartLife App and go to Member Management.
- Click on the ‘+’ icon located at the upper right corner of the screen and select ‘Family Member – Add’.
- Complete your home information.
- Add a member by clicking on ‘Add Member’ and copy/share the invite code with your family.
Join a Family/Home
- Go to ‘Me’ and select ‘Home Management’.
- Click on ‘Join a home’ and fulfill the invite code provided by the family member who added you.
Add Other Member
- Go to Member Management and click on the ‘+’ icon located at the upper right corner of the screen.
- Select ‘Other Member – Add’ and fulfill the member information.
Set Unlock Method for Other Members
- Go to Settings and select ‘Fingerprint/Password/Card Management’.
- Select the user you want to set an unlock method for and click on ‘Finished’.

Add Family Members
[Member Management > ‘+’ (upper right corner) > Family Member > go to complete
your home info > Add Member > Copy/Share the Invite Code to your family]
Member Management > ‘+’ > Family Member Add > Complete Home Info
Complete Home Info > Add Member > Share Invite Code > Home Member Info
2) Join a Family/Home
Me > Home Management > Join a home > Fulfill Invite Code
3) Add Other Member
Member Management > ‘+’ > Other Member-Add > Fulfill Member Info
4) Set Unlock Method for Other Members
Settings Fingerprint/Password/Card Management Select User > Finished
