SPORTOP VST60 Elliptical Trainer

Unpacking

Lay the box down flat so that the lid is able to be lifted. Unpack the handle bars, side supporting tubes, pedal supporting tube and owners manual. Remove the top polyfoam pieces #1 & #2 and finish up packing the console, console supporting tube, central supporting tube, pedal supporting tube, and hardware bag, leaving the main frame(A) and bottom polyfoam pieces #3 & #4 inside the box until instructed to remove them.

Assembly Instructions

CENTRAL SUPPORTING TUBE (F1) ASSEMBLY

  • Step 1: Remove the two reassembled screw (F5) from the main frame (A) and two screws (F5) from the central supporting tube (F1).
  • Step 2:  Assembly the central tube (F1) onto the main frame (A) use the previously removed screw (F5) to attach them.

_ NOTE: _Please tighten all four screws (F5) exactly before figure 2.

RIGHT SIDE CONNECTING TUBE ASSEMBLY

  • Step 1: Refer to the VIEW A,. assemble the right side connecting tube (C2) onto the main frame (A).
  • Step 2: Use one screw (J8) M8 x 20 to attach the tube to the frame.
  • Step 3: Refer to VIEW B, use 2 pieces screw (J2) M8x60 and iron bracket (F2) to attach the tube to the bottom of the frame.

NOTE: Only tight the J8 & J2 screws until the assembly step 3 is finished completely.

_ Note: _for safety concern, more people to help lifting the main frame assembly to the upright position may need.

LEFT SIDE CONNECTING TUBE AND JOINT COVER ASSEMBLY

  • Step 1:  Equip the left side connecting tube (CI) onto the main frame (A). Secure it by using the screw (J8) on the top and the two screws (J2) with the iron bracket (F2) on the bottom as the right side tube (C2) in FIGURE 2.
  • Step 2:  Now you can tighten all the screws (J8, J2) in FIGURE 2 to FIGURE 3.
  • Step 3: Disassemble 2 pieces of screws (F6) from the central supporting tube (FI).
  • Step 4:  Connect the joint covers (F3 & F4) onto the central supporting tube (F1) and secure by screws (F6).

PEDAL SUPPORTING TUBE ASSEMBLY

  • Step 1: Referring to VIEW D shown, tighten nut (J4), washer (J9) and screw (J3) after locking screw (J5), washer (J9) and nut (J4) in VIEW C.
  • Step 2:  Connect the right pedal supporting tube (B2) with the main frame (A) and fix them using nut (4) , washer (J9) and screw (J3) as shown in VIEW D.
  • Step 3: After assembling in VIEW D, secure the tube by tightening the preinstalled bolt (J5) and nur (J4) referring VIEW F.
  • Step 4:  The left side tube assembly (B1) is the same as, the right side.

HANDLE BAR ASSEMBLY

  • Step 1: Remove the six preinstalled (J10 & J11) screws from the left handlebar (E 1).
  • Step 2. Assemble the left handle bar (F1) into the main frame (A) and use the two 6mm Allan wrench to fix all screws J10& J11) referring to the shown in VIEW.
  • Step3. The right assembly (E2) is the same as the left side.

CONSOLE-SUPPORTING TUBE AND BOTTLE HOLDER ASSEMBLY

  • Step 1. Connect wires (DI) from the console supporting tube (DJ with wires (Al) from the main frame (A).
  • Step 2. Use 2 pieces of screws (J1) and 2 pieces of preinstalled screws (J1) to fix the console supporting tube (D) onto the main frame (A). Tighten the four screws (J1) as the shown in VICW G.
  • Step 3. Use screws (J6) to fix bottle holder (H) onto the main frame (A).

CONSOLE ASSEMBLY

  • Step 1.  Remove 4 pieces of screws (G1) from the back of console (G).
  • Step 2. Connect console wires (DI) and heart rate wires (D3) to the console.
    • Make sure that the wires are connected together properly.
    • Push and store excess wires back into housing cover and console supporting tube (D).
    • Fix the console (G) onto the console supporting tube (D by using the screws (G1).
  • Step 3. Using the leveles on the rear side of supporting tube to maintain the machine steady.

_ NOTE: _The console angle can be adjusted according to users demand to have the best view.

HOW TO TRANSPORT THE ELLIPTICAL

When the machine need to be transported to a different location, please lift up the both side connecting tubes until the front transportation wheels are touching the ground. You can move it to the desired location. After move, gently set the macine down at its new location. If needed, adjust the levelers on the bottom of rear supporting tubes to make the machine steady.

WARNING

  • Do not attempt to lift the machine by yourself! For safety reason, please be always ask additional help.

ASSEMBLY FOR THE POWER CORD

  • Attach the power cord jacket into the power socket on the maine frame before plugging the power cord plug into the wall outlet.

ADJUST THE VARIOUS STRIDE

HOW TO ADJUST THE VARIOUS STRIDE

  • Step 1.  There are 5 different stride choices on VST60 which is 18″, 20″, 22″, 24″ and 26″ that are shown on the LED displayed window.
  • Step 2. Loosen the knob and pull out to adjust the stride length as you desired.
  • Step 3. After selection the stride length, screw back the knob tightly.
  • Step 4. The same way to adjust the stride length of the other side.

WARNING: for your safety! NEVER adjust the stride length while standing on the machine. Always equally adjust both the right and left stride to the same setting. Uneven positions set is not recommended strictly.

NOTE: The LED light would be low-battery after using a period. When the LED light is not bright, please replace the 4 new batteries together (Both right & left side is the same.).

FUNCTION BUTTONS

  • START/STOP: To start or stop training
  • RECOVERY: To test the heart rate recovery status
  • + (PLUS): To select training mode or adjust function value up
  • – (MINUS): To select training mode or adjust function value down
  • RESET: In stop mode, press the button back to main menu
  • QUICK KEY: To quickly select preferred settled programs (12 program)
  • MODE: To start workout.
  • USB: Only use your phone or tablet charge (please with the individual’s USB charging cable).

POWER ON

  1. Connect power supply to the monitor or press the RESET button for 3 seconds the LCD will display all segment with a long- beep sound for 1 seconds and display 78.0 in below (FIGURE 1 & 2).
  2. User may turn the +/- joggle wheel to select User 0~4 and press MODE for confirmation (FIGURE 3~4). And then preset user information for SEX, AGE, HEIGHT WEIGHT, pressing +/- to adjust the value (FRGURE5~8).

  • After setting the user’s data. Press Mode button for operation. pressing +/- to choose mode: MANUAL PROGRAM FITNESS WATT USER PROGRAM HRC

MANUAL MODE

  1. Press and hold the Reset button for 3 seconds, choosing User and setting data. or, press Reset only.
  2. Select MANUAL mode by +/- buttons, and press Mode button for settling. (FIGURE 8)
  3. Set load level and press Mode button for confirmation.(FIGURE 9)
  4. Pre-set the value of TIME, DISTANCE, CALORIES, and target PULSE.(FIGURE 10~13)
  5. Press Start button to start training. You may press +/- to adjust load level. (FIGURE 14)
  6. Press Stop button to pause training. Press Reset button to go back to chosen mode; or press and hold Reset button for 3 seconds to go back to main menu. (FIGURE 15)

PROGRAM MODE

  1. Press and hold the Reset button for 3 seconds, and select User and set the data; or only press Reset to main menu.
  2. Select PROGRAM mode by +/- buttons, and press Mode button to confirm. (FIGURE 16) Preee +/- button to select program 1~program 12(FIGURE 17); or press quick keys “P1″~’P12” for quick selection. (FIGURE 18)
  3. You may adjust load level by +/- button, and press Mode button to confirm. (FIGURE 19)
  4. Set up TIME, DISTANCE, CALORIES, and target PULSE.(FIGURE 20 ~ 23)
  5. Press Start button to start training. You may adjust load level by +/- buttons.
  6. Press Stop to pause training. Press Reset button back to main menu, or hold it for 3 seconds to standby mode.

FITNESS MODE

  1. Press and hold Reset button for 3 seconds, selecting User and set up the data; or, press Reset to back to main menu.
  2. Select FITNESS mode by +/- buttons, and press Mode button to confirm. (FIGURE 24~25)
  3. Press Start to start training. You may adjust load level by +/- buttons.
  4. After 12 minutes, the display will automatically show the workout result.
  5. Press Stop to pause training. Press Reset button back to main menu, or hold it for 3 seconds to standby mode.

WATT MODE

  1. Press and hold Reset button for 3 seconds, selecting User and set up the data; or, press Reset to back to main menu.
  2. Select WATT mode by +/- buttons, and press Mode button to confirm. (FIGURE 26)
  3. Set up your target value of watt but +/- button, and press Mode button to confirm. (FIGURE 27)
  4. Set up TIME, DISTANCE, CALORIES, and target PULSE value. (FIGURE 28~31)
  5. Press Start button to start training. You may adjust watt by +/- buttons.
  6. Press Stop to pause training. Press Reset button back to main menu, or hold it for 3 seconds to standby mode.

USER MODE

  1. Press and hold Reset button for 3 seconds, selecting User and set up the data; or, press Reset to back to main menu.
  2. Select USER mode by +/- buttons, and press Mode button to confirm. (FIGURE 32)
  3. Set up each column of load level by +/- buttons. Press Mode button to switch to next column. (FIGURE 33) When done, press and hold Mode button for 3 seconds to confirm.
  4. Set up TIME, DISTANCE, CALORIES, and target PULSE. (FIGURE 34-37)
  5. Press Start button to start training. You may adjust load level by +/- buttons.
  6. Press Stop to pause training. Press Reset button back to main menu, or hold it for 3 seconds to standby mode.

HRC

  1. Press and hold Reset button for 3 seconds, selecting User and set up the data; or, press Reset to back to main menu.
  2. Select HR mode by +/- buttons, and press Mode button to confirm. (FIGURE 38)
  3. Select different heart rate from 55% / 75% / 90% or Target by +/- buttons. (FIGURE 39~42) The geart rate value will be different depending on the setting of age.
  4. If choosing Target, you may set up your target heart rate by pressing +/- buttons.
  5. Set up TIME, DISTANCE, CALORIES, and target PULSE value. (FIGURE 43~45)
  6. Press Start button to start training. The load level will adjust according to your current heart rate.
  7. Press Stop to pause training. Press Reset button back to main menu, or hold it for 3 seconds to standby mode.

RECOVERY

After exercising for a period of time, keep holding on handgrips and press “RECOVERY” button. All function display will stop except “TIME” starts counting down from 00:60 to 00:00. Screen will display your heart rate recovery status with the F1, F2. to F6. F1 is the best, F6 is the worst. User may keep exercising to improve the heart rate recovery status. (Press the RECOVERY button again to return the main display.)

NOTE

  • (FIGURE 48) If the heart rate is undetected or shown intermittently, the display will show out “Er” (error).
