INSTALLATION

  • FIGURE 1: Rear Stabilizer Assembly

    • Step 1: Remove the preassembled screws (IV-J1 ), spring washers (IV-J2), and washers (IV-J3) from the rear stabilizer (IV-C).
    • Step 2: Attach the rear stabilizer (IV-C) to the main frame (IV-A) with screws (IV-J1 ), spring washers (IV-J2), and washers (IV-J3).
    • Step 3: Use a 5m/m Allen wrench to fasten screws firm. SPORTOP-B900-Upright-Cycle-Fitness-Depot-FIG- \(2\)
    • Tool Needed: 5m/m
  • FIGURE 2: Front Stabilizer Assembly

    • Step 1: Remove the preassembled screws (IV-J 1 ), spring washers (IV-J2), and washers (IV-J3) from the front stabilizer (IV-8).

    • Step 2: Attach the rear stabilizer (IV-8) to the main frame (IV-A) with screws (IV-J 1 ), spring washers (IV-J2) and washers (IV-J3).

    • Step 3: Use a 5m/m Allen wrench to fasten screws firm.

    • How to Keep the Machine Stable:
      After the stabilizers are attached in (Figure 1 & Figure 2), check to see if the machine is stable. If the machine is unstable, adjust the end caps to level the machine.SPORTOP-B900-Upright-Cycle-Fitness-Depot-FIG-

  • FIGURE 3: Central Tube Assembly

    • Note : Additional assistance may be needed to help connect cables and stabilize the central tube (IV-D).
    • Step 1: Locate and connect cable (IV-A 1) with cable (IV-D1 ), and make sure connections are joined properly.
    • Note : Be careful not to pinch wires while joining the central tube (IV-D) to the main frame (IV-A).
    • Step 2:  Place the central tube (IV-D) on the main frame (IV-A) and join them with screws (IV-J4) and washers (IV-JS).
    • Step 3: Use a 6m/m Allen wrench to tighten the screws (IV-J4) firmly.
    • Step 4: Place the plastic cover (IV-D2) on the central tube (IV-D) and join them with the clip under the plastic cover (IV-D2).SPORTOP-B900-Upright-Cycle-Fitness-Depot-FIG- \(4\)
    • Tools Needed: 6m/m
  • FIGURE 4: Front Handle Bar Assembly

    • Step 1: Remove nuts (IV-J6) and washers (IV-J?) from the central tube (IV-D).

    • Step 2: Join the handlebar (IV-E) assembly to the central tube (IV-D) using the same washer (IV-J?) and nut (IV-J6).

    • Note : Pull the cable (IV-D1) and the handle pulse sensor wires through the mounting hole of the handlebar (IV-E). Be careful not to pinch the wires.

    • Step 3: Use a 13mm wrench to tighten the nut (IV-J6) firm.

    • Water Bottle Holder Assembly:
      Remove the screws (IV-J8) from the central tube (IV-D). Step 2. Using a screwdriver, tighten the water bottle holder (IV-L 1) to the central tube (IV-D) using the same screws (IV-J8). SPORTOP-B900-Upright-Cycle-Fitness-

    • Tool Needed: screwdriver 4m/ml

  • FIGURE 5: Console Assembly

    • Step 1 : Remove four screws (IV-G1) on the back of the console (IV-G).
    • Step 2: Connect the cable (IV-D 1 & IV-E 1) and the handle pulse sensor wires to the console. The handle pulse sensor wires can be interchangeable.
    • Step 3: Gently slide the console onto the console housing. Be aware of the wire location at all times to prevent any pinched wires. Push any extra wires back into the mounting hole of the handlebar (IV-E). Side the console down until it cannot be pushed any further
    • Step 4: Using a screwdriver, tighten the console (IV-G) using the same screws (IV-G1 ).SPORTOP-B900-Upright-Cycle-Fitness-Depot-FIG- \(6\)
    • Tool Needed: screwdriver
  • FIGURE 6: Console Covers Assembly

    • Step 1: Remove two screws (IV-J9) on the central tube (IV-D).
    • Step 2: Connect the front plastic cover (IV-D3) and the rear plastic cover (IV-D4) to the central tube (IV-D).

    • Tool Needed: screwdriver
  • FIGURE 8: Seat & Seat Tube Assembly

    • Step 1: Remove nuts (IV-H1) and washes (IV-H2) on the back of the seat (IV-H).

    • Step 2: Position seat (IV-H) onto the seat basement (IV-F1) and tighten it using nuts (IV-H 1) and washes (IV-H2).

    • Step 3: Loosen the knob (IV-A2) on the seat tube receiver and pull on the knob (IV-A2) to allow the seat tube (IV-F) to slide down the receiver. Once the seat tube (IV-F) is positioned in the desired location, release the knob (IV-A2) and tighten the knob to secure the seat tube (IV-F).

    • Step 4: Remove the screw (IV-J10) on the seat tube (IV-F).

    • Step 5: Loosen the knob (IV-F2) and gently slide the seat basement (IV-F1) onto the seat tube (IV-F). Let the inside styrofoam slide out at the same time. Then screw back the same screw (IV-J 10) onto the seat tube (IV-F).

    • Note : Do not take out the inside styrofoam until “FIGURE 8 – Step 5.” let the stopper (IV-F3) inside the seat basement set at the right position.

    • How to Adjust Seat Position:

    • Adjust the seat position and height of the bike by loosening knobs (IV-A2) and (IV-F2).

    • Adjust both adjustments according to each rider’s desired placement and then firmly tighten each knob to prevent the seat from moving.SPORTOP-B900-Upright-Cycle-Fitness-Depot-FIG- \(8\)

  • FIGURE 9: Pedal Assembly

    • Note : Locate the left & right pedals. There is a Left and Right mark on each pedal and each pedal strap to distinguish them.
    • Step 1: Tighten the left pedal (IV-K1) counter-clockwise to the left crank arm and the right pedal (IV-K2) clockwise to the right crank arm. Use a 15mm wrench to tighten each pedal as tight as possible.
    • Step 2: Insert the pedal straps into each pedal. Adjust the straps according to the user’s shoe size while on the bike. SPORTOP-B900-Upright-Cycle-Fitness-Depot-FIG- \(9\)

    • If the machine needs to be transported to a different location, lift the rear stabilizer until the front transport wheels are touching the ground. You may now move to the desired location. After the move, gently set the machine down at its new location and adjust the stabilizers’ end caps to stabilize the machine if needed.

FUNCTION BUTTONS

  • MODE : To confirm all setting values.
  • RESET: To reset all setting values.
    • Hold on pressing for 2 seconds, the monitor will resume power-up mode.
  • START/STOP: To start or stop training.
    • When time counts down to 0:00, the computer will stop automatically and beep for 8 seconds. Time will resume to the previous setting value.
    • When users stop training by themselves, the computer will retain all the setting values and display a heart rate chart
  • UP: To make the upward setting.
  • DOWN: To make the downward setting.
  • RECOVERY: In stop or start mode, pressing the button will start the heart rate recovery status measurement.
    • Time will count down from 0:60.
  • FAN: To turn on or turn off the fan
  • Pl: Swift to program profile 1.
  • P2: Swift to program profile 2
  • P3: Swift to program profile 3
  • P4: Swift to program profile 4
  • PS: Swift to program profile 5
  • P6: Swift to program profile 6
  • P7: Swift to program profile 7
  • P8: Swift to program profile 8
  • P9: Swift to program profile 9
  • PIO: Swift to program profile 10
  • Pll: Swift to program profile 11

FUNCTIONS

  • TIME: Count up – no preset target, time will count up from 0:00 to a maximum of 99:59
    • Count down – with the preset target, time will count down from preset to 0.
  • SPEED : Display training speed from 0.0 to a maximum of 99.9 km or ml.
  • RPM: Display training rotation per minute
  • CALORIES: Count up – no preset target, calories will count up from Oto maximum of 9990.
    • Count down – with the preset target, calories will count down from preset to 0.
  • DISTANCE : Count up – no preset target, distance will count down from 0.00 to 99.50.
    • Count down – with the preset target, the distance will count up from preset to 0.
  • PULSE: The monitor will detect heart rate figures when the user holds on to the hand grip sensor or wear a chest belt. The hand grip is a priority. When the monitor cannot detect the pulse signal, will display “P”.

OPERATING PROCEDURE

Power on

  • To connect the power supply to the monitor, the monitor will display all segments with a long beep for 2 seconds.
  • Programs with their corresponding LED will illuminate, and the user may press UP and DOWN to select the preferred program (MANUAL ➔PROGRAM➔USER➔HRC➔WATT).

Training mode

Training mode selection:

  • Manual mode:
    User may preset their resistance level from 1 to 16 by pressing the UP or DOWN buttons. The default resistance level is from row one. Press mode to confirm the setting.

  • TIME: is blinking. You may press the UP or DOWN button to set up target training time from 00:00 to 99:00. Press MODE to confirm the setting.

  • DISTANCE: is blinking. You may press the UP or DOWN button to set up a target distance from 0.00~99.59. Press MODE to confirm the setting.

  • CALORIES: is blinking. You may press the UP or DOWN button to set up target calories from 0~9990. Press MODE to confirm the setting.

  • PULSE: the monitor will detect the user’s heart rate. Please hold on handgrip sensor or wear a chest belt when starting the exercise. 

Press the START button to start training:
The first column starts blinking and switches to the next column per preset time divided into 16. Once the preset target data counting down to 0, the monitor will stop automatically. You may press the START button to start training again. Other preset data will keep counting down from previous data.

  • Program mode
    There are 12 program profiles (P1~P12) for training selection. Users may press program buttons from P1 to P12 to Swift to select profiles in stop mode. Or press the UP or DOWN button to select each profile you want and press MODE to confirm. Then you may press the UP or DOWN button to adjust the resistance level from 1 to 16.

  • TIME : is blinking. You may press the UP or DOWN button to set up the target training time from 00:00 to 99:00. Press MODE to confirm the setting.

  • DISTANCE : is blinking. You may press the UP or DOWN button to set up a target distance from 0.00~99.59. Press MODE to confirm the setting.

  • CALORIES : is blinking. You may press the UP or DOWN button to set up target calories from 0~9990. Press MODE to confirm the setting.

  • PULSE : the monitor will detect the user’s heart rate. Please hold on handgrip sensor or wear a chest belt when starting the exercise.

  • User profile mode
    User may create their profile in this mode. The first column of the profile will start blinking, then you may press the UP or DOWN button to adjust the resistance level of each column and press MODE to confirm. There are 16 columns for the profile.

  • TIME: is blinking. You may press the UP or DOWN button to set up the target training time from 00:00 to 99:00. Press MODE to confirm the setting.

  • DISTANCE: is blinking. You may press the UP or DOWN button to set up a target distance from 0.00~99.59. Press MODE to confirm the setting.

  • CALORIES: is blinking. You may press the UP or DOWN button to set up target calories from 0~9990. Press MODE to confirm the setting.

  • PULSE : the monitor will detect the user’s heart rate. Please hold on handgrip sensor or wear a chest belt when starting the exercise.

  • WATT control mode
    Users may preset WA TT value by pressing the UP or DOWN button, with SW increment, and pressing MODE to confirm.

  • TIME : is blinking. You may press the UP or DOWN button to set up the target training time from 00:00 to 99:00. Press MODE to confirm the setting.

  • DISTANCE : is blinking. You may press the UP or DOWN button to set up a target distance from 0.00~99.59. Press MODE to confirm the setting.

  • CALORIES : is blinking. You may press the UP or DOWN button to set up target calories from 0~9990. Press MODE to confirm the setting.

  • PULSE : the monitor will detect the user’s heart rate. Please hold on handgrip sensor or

Press the START button to start training:
Screen display profile automatically according to the preset target watt data, current RPM, and training speed. This profile is not available to be adjusted. If the training speed is quick, the resistance level will decreased. Otherwise, it will increase. The adjustment is to maintain the preset watt for training.

  • H.R.C. mode
    Users may preset different target heart rates from 55%, 75%, 90%, and Target by pressing the UP and DOWN buttons. And press MODE to confirm.

  • TIME : is blinking. You may press the UP or DOWN button to set up target training time from
    00:00 to 99:00. Press MODE to confirm the setting.

  • DISTANCE : is blinking. You may press the UP or DOWN button to set up a target distance
    from 0.00~99.59. Press MODE to confirm the setting.

  • CALORIES : is blinking. You may press the UP or DOWN button to set up target calories
    from 0~9990. Press MODE to confirm the setting.

  • PULSE : the monitor will detect the user’s heart rate. Please hold on handgrip sensor or wear a chest belt when starting the exercise. 

Press the START button to start training:
The resistance level will adjust according to your current heart rate. When it is lower than the preset target, the resistance level will increase one row every 30 seconds automatically. On the contrary, the resistance level will decrease one row every 15 seconds until reaches the first level. In level 1, if the user’s hearing rate still exceeds more than 30 seconds, the monitor will stop and start to warm the user.

NOTE:

  1. The monitor display will shut off if the training is stopped or if not press any button for 4 minutes.
  2. Error message: E2 When the monitor appears this information, the control board connection is failed. This message will disappear when the failure is fixed
