Product Information
C7561 is a lighting fixture that requires an electrician or certified factory- trained technician for installation and maintenance. The installation of this unit must be in compliance with all applicable national and local electrical/building codes to avoid the risk of fire or shock. This fixture is designed to be mounted on a correctly installed standard round or octagon box or a through outlet box with a plaster frame. The box must be securely mounted to the structure of the building, and the mounting bar and hardware supplied should be used.
Safety Instructions
- Disconnect power before relamping or wiring the fixture.
- Make sure that circuit breakers controlling outdoor lighting and equipment are GFI breakers.
- Never fasten the ground wire to the black or hot wire.
- Make sure that there is no exposed wire or strands that could cause a dangerous short circuit.
Fixture Preparation
- Remove the fixture, parts, and parts bag(s) from the carton.
- Double-check to make certain that all parts are found before discarding the carton.
- Fasten the white fixture lead wire to the white wire in the outlet box using an approved fastener (wire nut). Tightly wrap the connection with electrical tape so that the connection seals the end of the fastener.
- Connect the black fixture lead wire to the black wire in the outlet box and fasten the joined wires as in step 3.
- Using the end nuts, fasten the fixture to the outlet box.
- Install the 2 glass shades onto the fixture between the metal washer and the plastic washer, then secure it with a metal ring.
- Install the lamps (light bulbs). Note: This fixture is rated for a max 60-watt type G40 or A lamp.

- INSTALLATION AND MAINTENANCE OF THIS UNIT REQUIRE AN ELECTRICIAN OR CERTIFIED FACTORY-TRAINED TECHNICIAN.

- NOTICE: Before discarding the carton, double-check to make certain that all parts are found.
- This fixture is designed to be mounted on a correctly installed standard round or octagon box or a through wiring box with a plaster frame. The outlet box must be securely mounted to the structure of the building. The crossbar and hardware supplied should be used.
FIXTURE INSTALLATION
- (Starting at the back), thread the 2 longest screws into the mounting ring (The green screw is in the front). Attach the mounting ring to the outlet box. (The green screw should face the floor). Rotate the mounting to align the mounting screws with the closest wall..
- Thread the small hex nuts onto the screws. Adjust the screws so that they extend 3/16″ beyond the pan of the fixture. Lock the hex nuts against the mounting ring.
- Fasten the ground wire to the green or bare copper wire in the outlet box or to the green screw on the crossbar.
- WARNING: Never fasten the ground wire to the black or “hot” wire! Failure to follow this instruction could result in serious injury or death.
- Fasten the white fixture lead wire to the white wire in the outlet box. Fasten the wires together with an approved fastener (wire nut). Starting about 1” below the fastener, tightly wrap the connection with electrical tape so that the connection seals the end of the fastener.
- WARNING: Make sure that there is no exposed wire or strands that could cause a dangerous short circuit!
- Connect the black fixture lead wire to the black wire in the outlet box. Fasten the joined wires as in step 5.
- Using the end nuts, fasten the fixture to the outlet box.
- Install the 2 glass shades onto the fixture between the metal washer and the plastic washer, then secure it with a metal ring.
- Install the lamps (light bulbs).
- NOTE: This fixture is rated for Max 60-watt type G40 or A lamp.
- WARNING: DO NOT EXCEED RECOMMENDED WATTAGE!
- Restore power to the circuit at the breaker or fuse box.
