SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
IMPORTANT:
Always follow these instructions. Failure to do so can result in dangerous
exposure to laser radiation.
- Never look directly at the laser beam.
- Never point the laser beam at reflective surfaces, people or animals. Even low power laser beams can injure the eyes.
- Never open the laser module.
- Never modify the product in any way, for example to increase the power of the laser beam.
- The manufacturer cannot accept liability for any personal injury and/or material damage resulting from failure to follow these safety instructions.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS FOR BATTERIES
- If a battery is inserted in an electrical product when the power switch is switched on there is a risk of personal injury and/or material damage.
- Incorrect use of the product can result in battery leakage. Avoid contact with battery fluid. On contact with battery fluid, rinse immediately with plenty of fresh water. If you get battery fluid in your eyes, rinse your eyes with clean water for at least 10 minutes and then seek medical attention immediately.
- Battery fluid can cause skin irritation and/ or burns.
- Do not expose batteries to heat, direct sunlight, naked flames, etc.
- Never attempt to charge batteries that are not rechargeable – risk of explosion.
- Store batteries out of the reach of children and pets. Never short-circuit batteries, or attempt to open or dismantle batteries.
- Seek medical attention immediately if anyone has swallowed a battery.
- If necessary, clean the battery terminals and product terminals before inserting new batteries.
- Insert the batteries with the correct polarity.
- Remove discharged batteries from the product at once, otherwise there is a risk of battery leakage.
- Replace all the batteries at the same time.
- Only use batteries of the recommended type – do not mix different types of batteries, or new and old batteries.
- Check that the product is switched off before putting it away after use.
- Remove the batteries if the product is not going to be used for some time.

DESCRIPTION
The product is a cross-line laser intended for the projection of lines on
walls to align tiles, windows, doors, and hang pictures etc.
The product must only be used for its intended purpose and in accordance with
these instructions. All other use is considered to
be unsuitable. The manufacturer cannot be held liable for any personal injury
or material damage resulting from incorrect use. The full responsibility for
any such personal injury or material damage rests on the user.
NOTE:
The product is not intended for commercial or industrial use. Commercial,
professional or industrial use (or equivalent) will invalidate the warranty.

USE
UNPACKING AND CHECKING
Carefully unpack the product and check that all the parts are included. Do not
attempt to assemble or use the product if any parts are missing or damaged.
Contact the retailer.
- Open the package and carefully unpack the product.
- Remove all packaging materials and any transport protection.
- Check that all the parts are included.
- Inspect the product and accessories for damage.
- Save the packaging materials for future use.
WARNING!
Do not allow children to play with the packaging material or the product. Do
not allow children to play with plastic bags, foil or small parts. Risk of
suffocation!
INSERTING/REPLACING BATTERIES
- Switch off the product with the power switch (1).
- Open the battery cover (6) by pressing down the lock tab (a).
- Insert the batteries (b) with the correct polarity.
- Close the battery cover (6) and check that the lock tab snaps in place.
- The batteries are discharged if the status light flashes red even when the product is standing upright. Replace the batteries in accordance with the instructions above.
UNIVERSAL CLIP
The supplied universal clip (8) can be fastened to a table, or a shelf.
- Fit the internal threaded hole (7) in the bottom of the product on the universal clip (8) screw (10).
- Use the finger grip on the screw to fasten the product on the universal clip.
- The product can be adjusted to the required angle with the adjuster screw (9) and the ball joints (a).
Remove in the reverse order.

STARTING AND SWITCHING OFF Starting
- Place the product on a level surface or fit it on the universal clip as described in the instructions in section 5.2.
- Start the product by moving the power switch to the left (seen from the front of the product). The laser goes on, the green status light (4) goes on, and the pendulum is released, so that the laser can be levelled.
- Press the button (5) to show or hide the vertical and horizontal lines separately.

Switching off
Switch off the product by moving the power switch to the right (seen from the front of the product). The laser goes off and the pendulum is locked.

IMPORTANT:
The product must be switched off and locked according to the instructions
above when transported, otherwise it could be damaged.
AUTOMATIC LEVELLING
When the product is started with the power switch (1) the laser units are levelled automatically with the pendulum, so that the lines are projected horizontally and vertically on the wall. Press the button (5) to show or hide the vertical and horizontal lines separately.

IMPORTANT:
Make sure that the product is not tilted more than 4 degrees or at an angle.
If this happens the laser beams start to flash and a red status light (4) goes
on.
MANUAL LEVELLING
The laser beam units can also be levelled manually, so that diagonal lines can be projected.
- Place the product on a level surface or fit it on the universal clip as described in the instructions in section 5.2.
- Start the product by moving the power switch (1) to the left (seen from the front of the product).
- Wait until the automatic levelling is completed and then move the power switch (1) back to the right.
- Now press the button (5). The laser units go on and the status light (4) goes red, because the pendulum is locked.
- The product can now be tilted to the required angle so that the lines are projected on the wall, see figure.
- Press the button (5) again to hide or show the vertical and horizontal lines separately, or to switch off the product.

IMPORTANT:
Adverse ambient conditions such as sunlight or low reflective surfaces can
have a negative effect on the measurements (range) and precision.
MAINTENANCE
CLEANING
Use a soft cloth moistened with water and a mild detergent.
NOTE:
- Switch off the distance meter before cleaning.
- Make sure that no water gets into the product.
- Do not use abrasive or strong detergent/solvent, they can damage the plastic parts.
STORAGE
Store the product and accessories in the original pack, in a dark, dry, frost-
free place, out of the reach of children. The recommended storage temperature
is from 5 to 30°C.
