LUMEX GENDRON Bariatric Mattress System Instructions
Product Information
The Lumex or Gendron Bariatric Mattress is a high-quality mattress manufactured by GF Health Products, Inc. It is designed to provide comfort and support to patients with bariatric needs. The mattress is made of compressed foam and comes in various sizes.
Product Usage Instructions
- Check for any obvious damage to the packing or its contents before opening. If damage is evident, DO NOT USE. Contact carrier / distributor for further instruction.
- Remove the mattress from the box.
- Position the mattress near the bed base.
- Locate the shrink-wrap seam, and peel back to unroll the mattress. DO NOT use a knife or scissors to cut the shrink-wrap.
- The mattress will start to unwrap. Be careful as sometimes it can start to expand rapidly.
- Once unwrapped, the compressed mattress foam may take up to 72 hours to fully recover. Environmental factors such as cooler temperatures may cause expansion to take longer.
- The mattress will expand to + / -1 dimensions from the size of the mattress that you ordered.
