Introduction

Thank you for purchasing this quality product. To minimise the risk of injury we urge that our clients take some basic safety precautions when using this device. Please read the operation instructions carefully and make sure you have understood its content.
Keep these operation instructions safe.

  • Our double water filters are equipped with a 10″ 5 µ fine sediment filter and a 10″ 5 µ activated carbon block, which produce ultrapure water. They are very inexpensive and easy to assemble and use. The quality and filter performance of the system correspond to systems that are offered at significantly higher prices.

  • Depending on the filter inserts used, the system is the solution for almost all water contaminants.

  • The water filter system offered here is supplied with a 5 µ sediment filter insert and a 5 µ activated carbon block filter insert, which reliably remove sand, rust, algae, and
    other suspended particles freshwater.

  • Of course, the 254 mm (10″) filter inserts used here can be exchanged and replaced with other materials as required. A complete list of all suitable filter inserts can be  found in the table below.
Note: Sediment filters cannot be washed out and must be replaced approximately every 6 months (DIN 1988).

  • The system does not contain an OR membrane (reverse osmosis) or an ion exchange. This means that the content of vital natural mineral is largely retained and the water hardness is influenced very little.

  1. Sediment filtering to 5 µ: This removes sediment particles such as sand, rust, and algae from the water.
  2. Toxin filtering: With the help of a filter cartridge made of pressed activated carbon, you can filter most of the toxins out of your water, e.g., ozone, pesticides, rust, lime particles, and chlorine. The concentration of heavy metals such as lead, copper, etc. is significantly reduced. In addition, activated charcoal discolors the water if it is cloudy, for example with yellow or brown. Activated carbon also removes odors from the water.
  3. Toxin filtering: With a filter cartridge made of activated charcoal you can filter the last remaining toxins out of your water.
  4. Ultra filter membrane: They filter all particles >0.22 µ (0.00022 mm) out of the water. This step removes any remaining bacteria, protozoa, cysts, algae, spores, fungal spores, etc. This membrane is almost impossible to get in ordinary specialist shops, but it is used by the industry for the purification of mineral water. Ultra filters are also used for drinking water treatment in disaster areas, for example by the THW (Techniques Hilfiger), the German Federal Agency for Technical Relief.
  5. PI activated carbon filter “Gourmet″ This filter consists of high-quality coconut activated carbon granulate with the largest possible surface. This filter removes substances from the water that are unpleasant to the smell and taste, so that the water tastes pure and refreshing.
  6. The filters are provided with flaps and/or welded in foil. Due to this measure, this product has no best-before date. You can therefore store this product without any loss of quality.
