Introduction

Thank you for purchasing this quality product. To minimise the risk of injury we urge that our clients take some basic safety precautions when using this device. Please read the operation instructions carefully and make sure you have understood its content. Keep these  operation instructions safe.

Safety instructions

  • Clean and replace the filter cartridges regularly.
  • Do not disassemble parts indiscriminately; this can lead to leaks or damage.
  • Do not use power supply units with an unsuitable rated voltage.
  • Disconnect the mains plug and close the water tap before storing the appliance for a longer period.
  • Do not store or use the appliance at an ambient temperature of 0 ℃ or below.
  • Take care when installing or removing the cartridge or moving the appliance.

Other instructions

  • When not in use, interrupt the water supply and close the ball valve to prevent damage from water hammer. Uncontrolled pressure surges can lead to leaks and damage to the filter housing.
  • We accept no liability for damage caused by pressure surges.
  • In the event of problems, disconnect the appliance from the power and water supply and contact a specialist. Replacing the filters may solve the problem.
  • The appliance vibrates slightly during the filtering process.
  • It is recommended that the cartridges are replaced by a specialist.
  • It is normal to hear vibrations when the system is producing water.

Note! A water hammer is a pressure surge or pressure wave that occurs when moving water is forced to suddenly appear or change direction. when a house occupant suddenly closes a valve, a pressure wave spreads through the pipework of the building.

Service life of the filter cartridge

Display

  • The left indicator light of the PP button shows the service life of the PP filter.
  • The left indicator light of the CTO button shows the service life of the CTO filter.
  • The left indicator light of the RO button (reverse osmosis) indicates the service life of the RO filter.
  • The left indicator light of the T33 button shows the service life of the T-33 filter.

The indicator light shows the service life of the individual filter cartridges.

  • Blue light: normal condition
  • Purple light: service life is about to expire
  • Red light: service life has expired – please replace the filter cartridge

Signal tone

  • If a filter-cartridge indicator light lights up purple after switching on the faucet, the device beeps for 3 s to remind the user to change the filter cartridge in good time.
  • If the filter cartridge indicator lights up red, the device beeps for 5 s after switching on the faucet to remind the user to change the filter cartridge as soon as possible.

  • If no button is pressed for 10 s, the system automatically exits reset mode.

Recommended replacement intervals for cartridges

Stages| Filter cartridges| Function| Service life (guide value) (months)
---|---|---|---
1st stage| PP sediment filter| Removes larger suspended particles from the water.| 3–6
2nd stage| CTO activated-carbon filter| Effectively remove chlorine, bind colour and odours from the water to extend the service life of the reverse-osmosis mem- brane.| 3–6
__ 3rd stage| Reverse-osmosis mem- brane| Filters the finest pollutants from the water and allows only pure water to pass

through.

| __ 12–24
4th stage| Activate-carbon post-fil- ter| Purifies the water again and ensures a good flavour.| 3–6

The service life of the filter cartridge gradually expires as soon as the appliance is connected to the mains. After approx. 20 % of the service life, the LED indicator remains lit and an alarm sounds each time the appliance is used.
