INTRODUCTION
To get the best out of your new appliance, please read this user guide
carefully before using it for the first time.
Take particular note of the safety precautions. We also recommend that you
keep the instructions for future reference, so that you can remind yourself of
the functions of your appliance.

GENERAL
- Incorrect use of this appliance may cause personal injury and damage.
- Use for its intended purpose only. The manufacturer is not responsible for any injury or damage resulting from incorrect use or handling (see also Guarantee Terms).
- Do not use outdoors
- For domestic use only. Not for outdoor or commercial use. For connection to 220-240V, 50/60Hz only.
- Never submerge the appliance, cord or plug in water, and no water must be allowed to enter the motor section.
- Never touch the appliance, cord or plug with wet or damp hands.
- Do not expose to direct sunlight, high temperatures, humidity, dust or corrosive substances. Keep the appliance under constant supervision while in use. Keep an eye on children.

USE

Ensure that the attachment is firmly locked in position before putting the unit into operation

Avoid contact with moving parts. Keep hands, hair, clothing, spatulas and other utensils away from accessories during operation to reduce the risk of personal injury and / or damage to the appliance.

Never leave the appliance switched on unattended.

Never touch the blade when the appliance is connected. It is very sharp.

Never touch the blades with your hands, spatulas or spoons when the appliance is connected.Do not use for boiling liquids or very warm foods. Make sure that the food has a sufficiently low temperature to avoid burning/scalding in case of skin contact.

Do not use for blending very hard and/or dry foods or crushing ice. Always add liquid when blending
vegetables or fruit. -
Do not run continuously for more than 50 seconds at a time.

Max operation duration under high speed per time cannot exceed 50 seconds, and only wait until the unit is cooled to room temperature before performing next operation cycles.

Please note that the blade may still rotate for a while after you switch off the appliance. Avoid touching the sharp blades during use and when cleaning the appliance!

Cleaning and maintenance can be done by children over 8 years old but under adult supervision
CABLE AND PLUG
- Do not let the cord hang over the counter.
- Be careful not to pull or trip over the power cord. Keep the cord away from heat sources, hot objects or open flames.
- Disconnect the cord from the mains before cleaning and when not in use. To disconnect the cable from the mains, do not pull the cable but grasp the plug.
- Make sure the cable is fully extended.
- The cable must not be twisted or wrapped around the appliance.
- Check regularly that the cable or plug are not damaged and that the product has not been dropped: in this case, do not use it.
- If the product, cable or plug is damaged, have it checked by an authorized center. Do not attempt the repair by yourself. Contact your dealer for repair if under warranty.
- Unauthorized repairs or modifications will void the warranty.
BEFORE FIRST USE
Before first use, or after prolonged non-use, wash all parts that come into contact with food.

USE OF THE PRODUCT
HAND BLENDER
The hand blender is intended for: mixing liquids, eg. dairy products, sauces, fruit juices, soups, mixed drinks and smoothies, mix soft ingredients, pancake batter or mayonnaise, blend cooked ingredients, e.g. to prepare baby food.
Press the normal speed button (I) or the turbo speed button (II) to turn the appliance on.

Put the food in the bowl. Make sure that the food is cut into small pieces and that the bowl is filled no more than 2/3 of its capacity.

Make sure the attachment is firmly locked in place before operating the appliance.

Dip the foot into the bowl, press and hold the button (I). The blender will immediately start mixing.

The appliance will mix at higher speed when pressing button (II).

If you remove your fingers from the button, the appliance will stop mixing.

Do not use continuously for more than 50 seconds: wait until the appliance has cooled down to room temperature before using it again.

Disassemble the appliance by doing the reverse operation to that done to mount it (B).
WARNING!
- Never touch the blades when the appliance is connected. The blades are very sharp.
- Do not let liquids or ingredients go beyond the mixing rod.
- If you use the appliance to pass hot foods into a pan or pot, remove the latter from the heat source and make sure not to bring the liquid to a boil.
- Allow hot food to cool slowly to avoid the risk of burns.
- Do not leave the hand blender in a hot pot when not in use.
- Do not scrape the bottom of pans or pots with the rod.
WHISK
- Turn the whisk on the motor unit counterclockwise until it stops.
- Plug the appliance into the electrical socket.
- Press speed I to mix eggs or creams, etc. Be careful not to drop long hair or scarves on the whip!
- After using it, do not press the switch to prevent food from splashing on your clothes or table.
- Do not use continuously for more than 1 minute: wait until the appliance has cooled down to room temperature before using it again
- Always unplug after use or cleaning.
Helpful tips
- To avoid splashing, start slowly and use the whisk in deep containers
- Move the whisk clockwise keeping it slightly inclined.
- Place the whisk in a container before turning on the appliance.
CHOPPER
The chopper is ideal for mincing meat, hard cheeses, onions, herbs, garlic,
vegetables, bread, crackers, smoothies, cocktails, mashed, or minced.
The maximum operating time is 20 seconds each time and the quantity must be
less than 500gr. Stop machining immediately if engine speed decreases and / or
strong vibrations occur.
Helpful tips
- Cut food into small pieces for easier chopping.
- Remove bones, tendons and cartilage from meat to prevent damage to the blades.
- Make sure that the non-slip rubber ring is fixed to the bottom of the chopper.
Assembly and operation
- Carefully remove the plastic cover from the blade.
- The blades are very sharp! Always handle them carefully by holding them by the plastic top.
- Place the blade on the pin in the center of the chopper, press it down and turn it to lock it in its seat.
- Fill the food processor with food and put the lid on.
- Align the chopper with the motor body and hook the two parts until they click.
- Turn on the appliance to use the chopper. During processing, hold the motor body with one hand and the chopper container with the other hand.
- Always chop solid foods at maximum speed.
- At the end of use, disconnect the appliance and remove the motor body.
- Remove the lid, remove the blade carefully before pouring the contents of the container. To remove the blade, rotate it lightly and pull it carefully. Handle the blade with care because it is sharp!
- Do not use choppers to process very hard foods such as unpeeled nuts, ice cubes, coffee beans, grains or hard spices such as nutmeg. Processing these foods can damage the blades.
ATTENTION: the use time must not exceed 20 seconds each time and the amount of food must be less than 500G.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
When cleaning, pay attention to the following points:
- Remove the plug from the socket and wait for the product to cool. Do not immerse the engine in water.
- Clean the motor section with a damp cloth. Add detergent if it is very dirty.
- Clean the blades and the bottom of the mixer under running water. Handle the blades with care because they are sharp!
- The chopper lid can be rinsed under the tap, but do not immerse it in water.
- Do not use steel wool, solvents or abrasives to clean plastic parts. Avoid touching the blades during cleaning!
- Make sure the hand blender is clean and dry before storing it.
- Do not use the appliance if:
- these instructions have not been followed and the blender has been modified
- the blender has been tampered with, mistreated or damaged
- the blender does not work due to the power circuit

The producer Melchioni Spa declares that the product Hand blender-Model MIXXXO TRIO (cod. 118420316) is in compliance with Directive 2011/65/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council, of 8 june 2011 and subsequent Commission Delegated Directive 2015/863, on the restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment.
According to Directive 2012/19/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council, of 4 july 2012, on waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE), the presence of the crossed-out bin symbol indicates that this appliance is not to be considered as urban waste: its disposal must therefore be carried out by separate collection. Disposal in a non-separate manner may constitute a potential harm to the environment and health. This product can be returned to the distributor when purchasing a new device. WARRANTY
Melchioni Spa, based in Milan (Italy), via Colletta 37, recognizes a
conventional guarantee on the product for a period of two years from the date
of the first purchase by the consumer. This guarantee does not affect the
validity of the legislation in force concerning consumer goods (Legislative
Decree 6 September 2005 n. 206 art. 128 and following), of which the consumer
remains the owner. This guarantee applies to the entire territory of the
European Union.
The components or parts that are found to be defective for ascertained
manufacturing causes will be repaired or replaced free of charge through the
dealer, during the above warranty period. Melchioni Spa reserves the right to
make a complete replacement of the device, if repairability is impossible or
excessively expensive, with another device of similar characteristics
(Legislative Decree 6 September 2005 no. 206 art. 130) during the warranty
period. In this case, the validity of the warranty remains that of the
original purchase: the service provided under warranty does not extend the
warranty period.
In any case, this appliance will not be considered defective in terms of
materials or manufacture should it be adapted, changed or adjusted, in order
to comply with national or local safety and / or technical standards, in force
in a country other than that for which it is was originally designed and
manufactured.
This appliance has been designed and built for domestic use only: any other
use will invalidate the benefits of the guarantee.
The warranty does not cover:
- parts subject to wear or tear, nor those parts that require periodic replacement and / or maintenance
- professional use of the product
- malfunctions or any defects due to incorrect installation, configuration, software / BIOS / firmware update not performed by authorized Melchioni Spa
- repairs or interventions carried out by persons not authorized by Melchioni Spa
- manipulation of assembly components or, where applicable, of the software
- defects caused by fall or transport, lightning, voltage fluctuations, liquid infiltration, opening of the appliance, bad weather, fire, public disturbances, inadequate ventilation or incorrect power supply
- any accessories, for example: boxes, bags, batteries, etc. used with this product
- home interventions for convenience checks or presumed defects
The recognition of the guarantee by Melchioni Ready S.r.l. is subject to the
presentation of a tax document that proves the actual date of purchase. The
same must not show any tampering or deletions, in the presence of which
Melchioni Spa reserves the right to refuse the provision of treatment under
warranty.
The warranty will not be recognized if the serial number or model of the
appliance is non-existent, abraded or modified.
This warranty does not include any right to compensation for direct or
indirect damage, of any nature, to people or things, caused by any
inefficiency of the appliance. Any extensions, promises or services in this
regard, insured by the retailer, will be borne by the latter.
