Maintenance

For best performance, check and empty your Leaf Eater Slimline rain head on a regular basis to remove captured leaves and debris. When the red overflow indicator is visible, this is a warning signal to let you know that leaf and debris removal is required.
Remove the filter by pulling it out from the rear body. This may require a little force as the rubber gasket creates a tight seal.
Empty the filter body, removing any captured leaves and debris. Then hose or brush out the filter body to remove finer debris.
The frequency at which maintenance is required will depend on the environment in which your Leaf Eater Slimline rain head is installed. For example, if you install your Leaf Eater Slimline in a high leaf area, maintenance will be required more regularly.
