Detection

The ALD-200 Refrigerant Leak Detector is a hand-held leak detector that uses the heated diode detection principle. Setup

Check the device has sufficient battery level. Turn on ( on/off button ) and wait for 30 seconds before testing.
Adjust the sensitivity ( sens ).
Slowly move the probe ( approx 3 inches/sec ) at a distance of 0.25 inches near the suspected leak area .
The screen will show the intensity of the leak and the audible tone will change to a siren sound.
