Thank you for purchasing a SIGURO appliance. We are grateful for your trust and are pleased to introduce the device to you on the following pages and introduce you to all  its functions and uses.

SAFETY INFORMATION

Please read this manual carefully before use and keep it for future reference.

  1. This appliance is not intended for use by children. Keep the appliance and its power cord out of the reach of children.

  2. The appliance may be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, provided they have been given  supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe manner and understand the potential hazards.

  3. Children must not play with the device.

  4. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be done by children.

  5. It is forbidden to use the appliance with a damaged power cord. If the supply cord is damaged, contact an authorized service center to have it replaced to avoid a  hazardous situation.

  6. Warning: Improper use can lead to injury.

  7. Be careful when handling attachments when inserting or removing them from the motor unit and during cleaning.

  8. Clean surfaces that come into contact with food according to the instructions in this manual.

  9. Always switch off the appliance and disconnect it from the power supply if you leave it unattended and before assembly, disassembly or cleaning.

  10. Before replacing accessories or accessible parts that move during use, switch off the appliance and disconnect it from the power supply.

  11. Before connecting the plug to the outlet, make sure that the voltage in your outlet corresponds to the voltage indicated on the type plate of the appliance.

  12. Only connect the appliance to a properly grounded outlet.

  13. To avoid the risk of a hazardous situation, do not plug the power cord into an extension cord or electrical circuit that connects several other electrical appliances at the  same time. We recommend connecting the appliance to a separate electrical circuit.

  14. Do not touch the power cord, its plug or the appliance when it is connected to the electrical outlet with wet hands.

  15. Do not immerse the appliance, the power cord or the plug of the power cord in water or other liquids. Prevent any contact with water or other liquids.

  16. Do not unplug the power cord from the AC outlet by pulling on the power cord. There is a risk of damage to the power cord, the appliance or the outlet. Always unplug  the power cord by its plug.

  17. Never wrap the power cord around the appliance. There is a risk of damage to the power cord due to excessive bending.

  18. Do not let the power cord hang over the edge of a table or counter top.
    Place the cable so that it is not stepped on or tripped over. Avoid contact of the power cord with heat sources or sharp objects. Do not place any objects on the power  ord.

  19. When you are not using the appliance, switch it off and unplug it from the AC outlet.

  20. Do not use the appliance if it fell or is visibly damaged. Never repair the appliance yourself. No part of the appliance is designed for the user to repair. Have all repairs,  adjustments or other than routine maintenance carried out by a professional authorized service center. Failure to do so may result in electric shock or irreparable damage  to the appliance.

  21. Do not insert any objects into the holes for connecting the attachments.

  22. The appliance is not intended to be controlled by a programmer, external time switch or remote control.

  23. The appliance is intended for household use. Do not use it outdoors or in a commercial environment.

  24. The appliance is intended for whipping, mixing and kneading a normal amount of food in the household. Use the appliance only for the purposes for which it is  intended and as described in this manual. Failure to follow the instructions may result in personal injury or damage to the appliance. The manufacturer is not liable for  damages caused by incorrect use of this appliance.

  25. Use only the accessories supplied with the appliance. It is forbidden to use accessories other than the supplied ones.

  26. Warning: Never touch the moving parts of the appliance. To prevent personal injury or property damage, keep fingers, hands, hair, clothing, or other loose objects away  from moving parts of the appliance. In the event of contact with moving parts, switch off the appliance immediately and unplug the power cord from the AC outlet.

  27. Always place the appliance on a dry and level surface. Do not place the appliance on window sills, unstable surfaces, on an electric or gas cooker, on or near other heat  sources.

  28. Before plugging in the power cord and before switching on the appliance, make sure that it is correctly assembled. Never combine attachments with each other.

  29. Never cover the ventilation openings during operation.

  30. First put the attachments in the food container and then switch on the appliance. Otherwise there is a risk of food splashing.

  31. Once the food has been processed or if you need to check the processing status or if the food sticks to the attachments, first switch off the appliance, wait until the  attachments stopped, and then remove the attachments from the processed food. Then unplug the power cord from the AC outlet.

  32. The recommended continuous operation time is 10 minutes. We recommend that you then let the appliance cool down so that you can use it again.

  33. Do not switch the appliance when empty. Risk of overheating.

  34. Never process food or liquids directly in the pot, which is placed on the switched on hob. Be careful when processing hot foods or liquids. We recommend that food or  liquids be partially cooled before processing.
    After processing hot food or liquids, the attachments can be very hot. Be careful not to get burned.

  35. Never process hard foods or foods with hard parts, such as seeds.

  36. Before removing the attachments and cleaning, make sure that the appliance is switched off, unplugged and cooled down.

  37. Follow the instructions in the “Cleaning and maintenance” section for cleaning.

USE

Before first use
Remove the appliance and its accessories from the packaging. Before disposing of the packaging, be sure to remove all components. Check that the appliance and any  accessories are not damaged.
Wipe the motor unit with a slightly damp, clean sponge and dry with a dry cloth.
Wash the whisk and kneading attachments in warm water with a little kitchen detergent, rinse with clean water and wipe dry.

Assembly and disassembly
Depending on the food or liquids you want to process, insert whisk or kneading attachments into the motor unit.
The whisk attachments are intended for the preparation of poured dough (e.g. pancakes / pancakes), whipped dough, for the making of mashed potatoes, for whipping  cream, creams or egg whites.
Kneading attachments are intended for the preparation of leavened or cake dough, for the preparation of dips, spreads or for mixing minced meat.
Warning:
Before inserting or removing the attachments, always make sure that the appliance is switched off and that the power cord is unplugged from the AC outlet. Otherwise there  is a risk of serious injury.
The attachments are inserted into the holes in the bottom of the motor unit.
Each attachment has its own hole. The attachment with collar is inserted into a wider hole (left hole – when viewed from below the motor unit) and the collarless attachment  is inserted into a narrow hole (right hole). Carefully push the attachments into the motor unit until you hear a click.
Check that the attachments are correctly inserted and locked and that they rotate freely.

Warning:
Never combine the whisk and kneading attachments. Always use the identical attachments
If you need to remove the attachments, grasp the attachments with one hand and press the release button with the other. Reeve the attachments from the motor unit.

  1. Put the food or liquids you want to process in the container.

  2. Assemble the hand mixer according to the instructions above.

  3. Make sure the switch is in position O and the hand mixer is properly assembled, and insert the power cord plug into an electrical outlet.

  4. Immerse the attachments in the foods or liquids.

  5. Use the switch to select the desired speed from 1 to 5, where speed 1 is the lowest and speed 5 is the highest. We recommend to select the speed 1 at first and then raise  it.
    Speed 1: initial speed when mixing large quantities of raw materials or bulk foods such as flour and sugar: or mixing two ingredients, such as mixing whipped egg white  into the dough.
    Speed 2: slow mixing suitable for adding liquids or mixing salad dressing.
    Speed 3: mixing / whipping dough
    Speed 4: mixing / quick whipping suitable for whipping cream, butter with sugar, whipping cold sweet sauces for desserts, etc.
    Speed 5: whipping eggs, egg whites, mashed potatoes, whipping cream, mayonnaise, etc.

  6. Once the food or liquids have been processed according to your requirements, set the switch to speed O, wait until the attachments have come to a complete stop, and  then pull them out of the container. Disconnect the plug from the AC outlet and clean the hand mixer according to the instructions in the “Cleaning and maintenance” section.

Note:
The recommended continuous operation time is 10 minutes. We recommend that you then let the appliance cool down so that you can use it again.

TURBO function
The TURBO function corresponds to speed 5 and is used for short processing of raw materials at maximum power. It can be selected at any speed except Oxo.
Press and hold the TURBO button throughout the processing. When the but- ton is released, the hand blender restores the original set speed.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Before cleaning or any maintenance, always switch off the appliance, unplug the power cord from the outlet and allow it to cool down completely.
Warning:
Never immerse the appliance, the power cord or the plug of the power cord in water or any other liquid.
Wipe the motor unit with a slightly damp, clean sponge and dry with a dry cloth.
Wash the whisk and kneading attachments in warm water with a little kitchen detergent, rinse with clean water and wipe dry.
Make sure that the attachments are completely dry before using them again.
Do not use plastic or metal scrapers, harsh cleaners, chemicals, petrol, solvents or other similar substances to clean any parts of the appliance. The surface finish could be  seriously damaged.
No part of the appliance is dishwasher safe.

Storage
Before storing, make sure that the appliance and its accessories are cool and clean.
Store the appliance and its accessories in a dry and well-ventilated place out of the reach of children or pets.
Do not place any objects on the appliance.

TROUBLESHOOTING

If the problem with the hand blender is not listed in the table above or the problem cannot be solved, turn off the hand blender, disconnect the power cord plug from the  power outlet, and contact an authorized service center.
Degree of protection against electric shock:
Protection against electric shock is provided by double or reinforced insulation.
