Product Usage Instructions

4. PROGRAMMING

4.1. Wall control SMOOVE io (see Plan)

To pair the wall control with the lock controller io:

1. Press and hold the “PROG” button on the lock controller io for 3 seconds until the green LED starts flashing.
2. Press the “PROG” button on the SMOOVE io remote control. When the LED lights up and stops flashing, both devices are paired.

4.2. Remote controller KEYGO io (see Plan)

To lock or unlock the door:

• Press the button corresponding to the lock on the remote control to lock or unlock the door.
• The lock will automatically lock when the door is closed.

4.3. Remote controller KEYTIS io (see Plan)

To lock or unlock the door:

• Press the button corresponding to the lock on the remote control to lock or unlock the door.
• The LED will flash briefly when the lock is activated.

4.4. Codetastatur 2 io (see Plan)

To lock or unlock the door:

• Enter the appropriate code on the keypad to lock or unlock the door.

4.5. Smart Home Box io (Connexoon, TaHoma Switch)

Please refer to the Smart Home Box io user manual for programming instructions.

4.6. Reset (see Plan)

Please refer to the product user manual for reset instructions.

5. OPERATION

5.1. SMOOVE io wall control

• To turn on or off, press the corresponding button.

5.2. KEYGO io remote controller

• To lock or unlock the door, press the corresponding button on the remote control.
• The lock will automatically lock when the door is closed.

5.3. KEYTIS io remote controller

• To lock or unlock the door, press the corresponding button on the remote control.
• The LED will briefly flash when the lock is activated.

5.4. Codetastatur 2 io

• To lock or unlock the door, enter the appropriate code on the keypad.

5.5. Smart Home Box io (Connexoon, TaHoma Switch)

Please refer to the Smart Home Box io user manual for operation instructions.

OPERATING CONDITIONS

Do not use this product outdoors. The radio range is limited by the regulatory standards for radio equipment. The radio range is highly dependent on the environment in which it is used: possible interference from large electrical equipment in the vicinity of the installation, type of material used in the walls and partitions of the site (metal surfaces, etc.). The use of radio equipment (e.g. hi-fi headphones) using the same radio frequency may reduce the product performance.

INTRODUCTION

The Lock controller io is designed to control electric locks of entry doors.

INSTALLATION AND WIRING
The Lock controller io can be clipped onto a DIN rail in an electrical switchboard or installed in a flush-mounted wall casing near the door. It comes with removable connectors for easy wiring. Cable cross-section: from 0.14 mm² to 1.5 mm².

DOOR PROFILE CONFIGURATION

• In the case of the activation of 2 devices (example: 1 electric door opener and 1 light), outputs OUT1 and OUT3 are activated simultaneously during the activation time (microswitches 4 and 5). Output OUT 2 is activated during the activation time.
• For a permanent unlocking (example: «passage»  mode of some electric locks): outputs OUT1 and OUT3 remain active until locking.

AUTOMATIC TESTS

To check the wiring between the Lock controller io and the connected devices.

Outputs test
Briefly press the “TEST” button to activate an output for 1 second.
Press again to change the output (OUT1 > OUT 2 > OUT3 OUT1, etc.).

Inputs test
Press the “TEST” button for 2 seconds, until the orange LED flashes.
Activating the IN1 input activates the OUT1 output. The orange LED remains fixed until the IN1 input is deactivated (same as for the IN2 and IN3 inputs).
To exit the test mode, press the “TEST” button twice.3.2. Inputs test
Press the “TEST” button for 2 seconds, until the orange LED flashes.
Activating the IN1 input activates the OUT1 output. The orange LED remains fixed until the IN1 input is deactivated (same as for the IN2 and IN3 inputs).
To exit the test mode, press the “TEST” button twice.

PROGRAMMING

SMOOVE io wall control (see diagram 5 )

1. Press the “PROG” button on the Lock controller io for 3 seconds until the green LED indicator flashes.
2. Briefly press the “PROG” button on the SMOOVE io. When the LED becomes steady and stops flashing, the 2 devices are linked.

KEYGO io remote controller (see diagram 6  )

1. Press the “PROG” button on the Lock controller io for 3 seconds until the green LED indicator flashes.
2. Press the 2 external buttons on the KEYGO io simultaneously until the green LED flashes rapidly.
3. Press the selected key to operate the door lock. When the LEDs stop flashing, the 2 devices are linked.

KEYTIS io remote controller (see diagram 7 )
First, make sure that the system key of the KEYTIS io has been correctly memorized. If this is not the case, refer to the “Memorizing the system key” step in the product guide.

1. Press the “PROG” button on the Lock controller io for 3 seconds until the green LED indicator flashes.
2. Briefly press the “PROG” button on the KEYTIS io. Wait for the second “BEEP” and the rapid flashing of the green LED (1 sec. to 1 min.).
3. Press the selected key to control the door lock. When the LEDs stop flashing and a long “BEEP” sounds, the 2 devices are linked.

Code 2 keypad io (see diagram 8 )
First, make sure that the main code of the keypad has been correctly memorized. If this is not the case, refer to the “Changing the main code” step in the product guide.

1. Press the “PROG” button on the Lock Controller io for 3 seconds until the green LED indicator flashes.
   Enter the main code on the keypad and press the 2 control keys simultaneously until the 2 LEDs flash rapidly.
   Press the selected key to control the door lock. When the LEDs stop flashing and a long “BEEP” sounds, the 2 devices are linked.

“Connected router ” io (Connexoon, TaHoma Switch)
Option 1

• Press the “PROG” button on the Lock controller io for 3 seconds until the green LED indicator flashes.
• Briefly press the “PROG” button of the connected router io. When the LED becomes steady and stops flashing, the 2 devices are linked.

Option 2 (see diagram 9 )

• Download the application of the connected router.
• Press (3 s) the “PROG” button on the Lock controller io until the green LED indicator flashes.
• Follow the instructions in the application to link the Lock controller io. When the LED becomes steady and stops flashing, the 2 devices are linked.

Resetting (see diagram 10 )
To unlink all devices, press the “PROG” button on the Lock controller io for 7 seconds.
The green LED first lights up steadily, flashes 5 times normally, 3 times rapidly, then goes off.

OPERATION

SMOOVE io wall control
Profile: Door lock with locking and unlocking

• Pressing the “^” key unlocks the lock, outputs 1 and 3 are activated.
• Pressing the “v” key locks the lock, output 2 is activated.
• Pressing the “my” key has no effect.

Profile: Door lock with unlocking only

• Pressing the “^” key unlocks the lock, 3 outputs 1 and 3 are activated. When closing the door, the lock locks automatically.
• Press the “^” key again to unlock the lock.
• Pressing the “my” and “v” keys has no effect.

KEYGO io remote controller
Profile: Door lock with locking and unlocking 321 Pressing the lock control button locks (output 2) or unlocks (outputs 1 and 3) the lock, depending on the last action performed.
Pressing the button again triggers the next action (unlocking or locking).

Profile: Door lock with unlocking only
Pressing the dedicated button unlocks the lock, outputs 1 and 3 are activated.
When closing the door, the lock locks automatically. Pressing the dedicated button again unlocks the lock.

KEYTIS io remote controller
Profile: Door lock with locking and unlocking

• Pressing the lock control button locks (output 2) or unlocks (outputs 1 and 3) the lock, depending on the last action performed. Pressing the button again triggers the next action (unlocking or locking). In both cases, the LED flashes briefly.
• Within 30 seconds after the locking and unlocking operations, the LED of the KEYTIS io flashes green (action completed) or red (action not completed). Only possible if the open/close or lock sensors are present:

Profile: Door lock with unlocking only ****

• Pressing the dedicated button 32 1 unlocks the lock, outputs 1 and 3 are activated. The LED flashes briefly and a “beep” is heard.
• When closing the door, the lock locks automatically. Pressing the dedicated button again unlocks the lock.

• Enter the main code and press the lock control button. This locks (output 2) or unlocks (outputs 1 and 3) the lock, depending on the last action performed.
• Enter the code and press the button again to  trigger the next action (unlock or lock).

• Enter the main code and press the dedicated button to unlock the lock. Outputs 1 and 3 are activated.
• When closing the door, the lock locks automatically. Enter the code and press the dedicated button again to unlock the lock.

“Connected router ” io (Connexoon, TaHoma Switch)

• From the application of the connected router, press the dedicated icon to lock or unlock the lock.

Profile: Door lock with unlocking only

• From the application of the connected router, press  the dedicated icon to unlock the door.
• When closing the door, the lock locks automatically. Press on the dedicated icon again to unlock the lock.
• To integrate the unlocking and locking of the lock into scenarios, please refer to the operating manual of the connected router io.
