Satellite Electronic 18038 Ceiling Fan Remote Control
Product Information
The Ceiling Fan Remote Control is a hand-held device designed to control the speed and light of a ceiling fan. The remote control uses radio frequency signals to communicate with the fan receiver installed in the ceiling fan. The remote control operates on two AAA batteries (not included) and has a range of approximately 30 feet.
Functions of Transmitter
- Press 1 Key: The receiving machine can control FAN to do OFF action.
- Press 2 Key: Open the fan on the receiving machine 1 speed.
- Press 3 Key: Open the fan on the receiving machine 2 speed.
- Press 4 Key: Open the fan on the receiving machine 3 speed.
- Press 5 Key: Light can be controlled by remote host and ON/OFF/DIMMER.
- Press 6 Key: Light can be controlled by remote host and colour.
Safety Instructions
- Remove batteries if not used for long periods of time to prevent damage to the remote control.
- Batteries must be removed from the transmitter before it is scrapped, and the batteries shall be disposed of safely.

Product Usage Instructions
- Open the battery compartment on the back of the remote control and insert two AAA batteries.
- Install the receiver unit into the ceiling fan according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Turn on the main power supply to the ceiling fan.
- To turn on the fan, press any speed key (2/3/4).
- To turn off the fan, press the off key (1).
- To control the light, press the light key (5/6). The light can be turned on/off or dimmed using the remote control.
- Keep the remote control in a safe place when not in use.
- If the remote control is not used for an extended period, remove the batteries to prevent damage to the remote control.
LEARNING PROCESS
NOTE: The Hand Held Remote Control is equipped with a learning ID function which has code combinations to prevent potential interference from other remote units.

Step: 1. Install the batteries AAA 1.5V*2 PCS in transmitter. Within 30 seconds of turning the Receiver AC power ON, press the transmitter LEARN button

Step: 2. Hold LEARN button about 3 seconds, once the receiver has detected the ID, the light of ceiling fan will be blinking twice and the fan turn on low speed. This will indicate the receiver has learned the ID that was previously selected on the transmitter.
Note: After the AC power is on, do not press any other buttons on the transmitter before learning ok. Because doing so will cause the procedure to fail. -
After completing the steps above, you should be able to operate the ceiling fan and light. If the ceiling fan is not responding to the transmitter, please turn the power off to the receiver and repeat step 1 and 2.
