PROGRAMMING A MODEL 63 FOR AN ALERT

For a counter:
Press the SEL and RST buttons at the same time to get into the menu.

AUko is used only in the preset function. When this is set, the count or time will reset when it reaches the preset value. The output will stay on until a front panel or remote reset has occurred.
LAECH allows the preset counter to continue counting after it has reached its preset value. Resetting is accomplished with the front panel reset or the remote reset. This will reset the value, output and icon

Dual Range Counters

This seting s used to isplay an con aftr a specific amount of ime or counts. The con can be reset by font panel resel, remole resat o afteran intervalof ounts or ima. If Alrt 1 is enabled, then Alet 2 begins after the Aler 1 icon tums on. If ert 1 disabled, then Alert 2 begins at.

AIErt 3~ ALERT3.
This seting s used to display an con aftr a specific amount of ime of couts. The icon can be reset by font panel reset, romole reset o ateran intervalof ouns or fimo. Alet 3 begins at 0.

PrESEt — PRESET.
This sotiing s used fo program a presef functon n which an output i fumed on afer a desired number of counts of specic amountoftme. There are tee available reset options, which are AUto, LATCH orrSt UoUt. See below for description of options.

EAbLE Y — ENABLE. This seting allows you t disable an alert o preset. The options are EnAbLE Y (YES) orEnAbLE n_ (NO).

VALUE 1 = VALUE. This seting deternines wha valus fo use. This is used when a nit has more than one display such as the Twin Counter or Tuin Houmeter. Th options are VALUET or VaLue 2

iCon 1=~ ICON. “This setting determines which con to use. There are & con setings to choose from.

iCon 1 – SVC(servce) VG
iCon 2 – CHG (change) CHG
iCon 3 – Oil Can
iCon 4 – Muffler
iCon 5 – Air Filter
iCon 6 – Light Bulb
iCon 7 – Oil Filter

Ut on — OUT ON.
This soting allows you to enable the output for an alert (outputs e always enabled for the prese function). The two setings are out on to enable the output and out off 1o cisable the output F

St EHt — RSTEXT.

1St UoUt — RSTUOUT.
Tris settng s used in the Aler and Presat functions. This setling alows the user o specily he number of counts or amount oftme ater the con went on that twi go of. n the Preset unctio, i specifes the amount of e in seconds that the proset wil rset.

AUto — AUTO.
This seingis used in he Proset function. When set o Auto, the count, o ime, wilreset when t reaches th preset value, but the output vl stay on untl eiher a frontpane resetor et resef has occurred.

LATCH — LATGH.
Tnis seltng allows presel counter o continue counling afer it has reached is preset value. Reseltng is accompished with he front pane resetor the remote reset. This resets the valus, output and con.

P PoS— DPPOS.
This seting allows you 1 set an hourlminute meter o tenths of hoursiminutes or hundredihs of hours/minutes.

StArt — START.
This soling allows you to sota starig time on a hour meter. This comes in handy ifyou noad 1 roplace a meter.
