COMMISSIONING

Handheld microphone

The handle of the microphone under the display consists of a removable roller and a plastic one plug. The plug does not need to be removed, the metal one should be unscrewed together with the plug roller. When you have carefully unscrewed the metal roller, paying attention to the polarities which are marked on the tray, insert AA batteries (1.5 V) positive end of the battery it should be facing up. Replace the battery cover. The microphone turns on a short press of the button under the display, a longer press (~2 sec.) the microphone turns off. The average working life of alkaline batteries is ~10 hours, which depends on circumstances of use and battery manufacturer. It is possible to follow on the display battery status.

  • The batteries should be changed if the symbol indicates this, if the range decreases or if you hear noises!
  • Battery replacement may only be done by an adult!
  • At the same time, use only batteries of the same type and condition!
  • If the batteries are discharged or do not use the microphone for a long time, remove the batteries immediately!
  • If acid accidentally leaks from the batteries, wear protective gloves and a cloth clean the battery tray!
  • It is forbidden to disassemble the batteries, throw them in the garbage or short circuit!
  • It is forbidden to charge non-rechargeable batteries! Danger of explosions!
  • Do not use accumulators instead of batteries because accumulators they have a significantly lower voltage and the operation of the device is reduced!
  • In cold conditions during operation, the capacity of the batteries decreases and there is a possible need for more frequent replacement! Receiver

Plug the supplied power adapter into the DC socket on the receiver and the power supply power adapter. Some household appliances can cause interference during operation, especially if they are included in the same distributor or are on the same phase. Receiver connect to an amplifier, mixer or powered speaker or HiFi device via 6.3 mm plug input (MIX OUT connected output on the back). In case of professional use with a longer connection cable, use balanced XLR sockets. It must be purchased separately for this connection suitable connection cable. Finally, place the two antennas vertically position.

Turn on the receiver with the POWER switch, the two displays start to light up, signaling channels “A” (CH-A) and “B” (CH-B) of the microphone. Potentiometers next to the display, they adjust the volume of the microphone, you need them before turning it on adjust to the middle position. If you notice disturbances during operation, move the antenna or receiver to the optimal position.

ADJUSTMENT, PAIRING, FUNCTIONS

Turn down the amp volume. If you have turned on the receiver and amplifier, turn on i both microphones. After a short time, the display will turn off MUTE (mute), if there is no wireless connection this will light up. Automatic pairing is successful if MUTE no longer lights up and if they are on the microphones and on the receiver (CH-A and CH-B) displayed the same frequency. Next to the AF symbol if the microphone detects sound the volume instrument blinks. Adjust the volume carefully volume on the amplifier, set it to half, then adjust the desired volume microphones on the receiver (VOL-A and VOL-B). If the connection is not established or the quality is not acceptable, change frequency. To change, unscrew the lower part of the microphone and press the button SET change frequency. After changing the frequency of the microphone pairing will be done quickly and automatically with the receiver. The current frequency will can be seen again both on the microphone and on the receiver. In the future after switching off and on for a short time will appear a frequency that can be changed with the SET key. The channels of the two microphones are therefore different both microphones can be set to the same frequency. The sensitivity of the microphone can be adjusted with the VOL +/- buttons on the microphone. This is an ideal solution to prevent microphonics. While pressing on the display can monitor V1…V5 (Volumes 1-5). After setting the value is automatically saved.

• ATTENTION!

For a stable connection and the greatest possible range, look for the best frequency which depends on the situation and place of use. A frequency that is not ideal selected in large reduces the range!

  • When pairing, the microphone and receiver should be as close as possible to each other. In case of connection problems, choose another frequency, or turn the microphone and receiver off and on, or change the position of the receiver.
  • The MUTE printout informs you about the signal interruption and the AF instrument about the volume signal.
  • Walls, electrical devices, WiFi, router, and human bodies can affect the quality signal reception.
  • Multiple sets of microphones can be used at the same time, but on different microphones frequencies.
  • Too little volume can cause more hum and too much signal distortions. Volumes should be adjusted to these unwanted effects do not occur. The ideal setting also depends on the position of the microphone.

PRACTICAL ADVICE

  • In microphones, the antenna is usually located on the bottom side. If possible do not hold the microphone by the end to reduce the possibility of interference surrender.
  • Do not move the microphone in your hand so as not to change the transmission conditions signal.
  • Frequencies around 800MHz can be noisier with interference if in that region mobile phones use the same frequency.
  • That mobile phones, Bluetooth speakers, TV, computer, WiFi router or other device with a radio signal, it can affect it to receive a quality signal.
  • Place the receiver at least 1 meter off the ground. No mount it on the wall, don’t put it on a wall shelf, it can damage it signal reception.
  • The microphone must not be near the speakers, so that there is no microphonics! By possible, the microphone should be behind the speaker. After switching on adjust the volume carefully.

TROUBLESHOOTING

If there is no sound or the sound is disturbed, you should check:

  • connection regularity
  • is there a power supply, are the batteries good?
  • that no cable is damaged
  • whether the amplifier is well adjusted
  • that you have not accidentally exceeded the recommended distance
  • that there are no electrical devices nearby that can cause interference
  • are the antennas vertical?
  • that the plastic plug on the microphone is not covered

CLEANING

Switch off the device before cleaning and unplug the receiver! For cleaning use dry soft cloths. Do not use aggressive chemicals!
