Caution! Never look directly at the Sun through this device, as this may cause permanent eye damage and even blindness.

Interpupillary distance adjustment

Look through the binoculars’ eyepieces with both eyes. To adjust the interpupillary distance, keep varying the angle between the binoculars’ parts (relative to its central axis) until the image merges into a single circle. Remember the setting for future use.
Focusing and diopter adjustment
Your left eye vision might be different from that of your right eye and you might need to adjust the diopter setting. Use the diopter adjustment ring on the right eyepiece to equalize this difference. Note that the diopter adjustment ring can be located on the left eyepiece for models with variable magnification.
Follow this procedure to adjust focus and diopter setting:

Look through your binoculars at a distant object;
Close your right eye and rotate the central focusing wheel until the view is focused;
Now, close your left eye and observe with your right. Slowly rotate the diopter adjustment ring on the right eyepiece until the view is focused again.

Now that your binoculars are focused, you only need to use the central focusing wheel during observations.
