We are grateful for your trust and are pleased to introduce the device to you on the following pages and introduce you to all its functions and uses.

SAFETY INFORMATION

| Please read this manual carefully before use and keep it for future reference.

  1. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.

  2. Children shall not play with the device.
    Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.

  3. It is forbidden to use the appliance with a damaged power cord.
    If the supply cord is damaged, contact an authorized service centre to have it replaced to avoid a hazardous situation.

  4. WARNING: Do not cover the appliance to prevent overheating.

  5. The appliance must not be placed immediately below electricity outlet.

  6. Do not use this appliance in the immediate vicinity of a bath, shower or swimming pool.

  7. Do not use this appliance if it has been dropped.

  8. Do not use this appliance if there are visible signs of damage.

  9. Use this appliance only on a level and stable surface.
    Do not use the appliance attached to the wall.

  10. WARNING: Do not use this appliance in a small room if it is occupied by people who are unable to leave this room on their own, unless permanent supervision is provided.

  11. WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire, keep fabrics, curtains or any other flammable material at least 1 m from the air outlet.

  12. This appliance is designed to be free-standing.
    This appliance is not intended for wall mounting.

  13. Children of less than 3 years should be kept away unless continuously supervised.

  14. Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall only switch on / off the appliance provided that it has been placed or installed in its intended normal operating position and they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
    Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall not plug in, regulate and clean the appliance or perform user maintenance.

  15. WARNING: Some parts of this product may become very hot and cause burns.
    Special attention must be paid to the presence of children and handicapped people.

  16. Before connecting the plug to the outlet, make sure that the voltage in your outlet corresponds to the voltage indicated on the type plate of the appliance.

  17. Only connect the appliance to a properly grounded outlet.
    The electrical outlet to which you connect the appliance must be freely accessible so that the power cable can be quickly disconnected from the power supply if necessary.

  18. Install the power cable so that nobody can trip over it.

  19. Do not touch the power cord, its plug or the appliance when it is connected to the electrical outlet with wet hands.

  20. The appliance is intended for indoor use only.
    Do not use it outdoors.

  21. Do not expose the appliance to heat or direct sunlight.

  22. Make sure before each use that the appliance is assembled correctly.

  23. Do not use the appliance to store objects.

  24. When not in use, switch off the appliance, unplug it and clean it according to the instructions in this manual.

  25. Unplug the appliance by pulling on the plug, not the cord.
    Otherwise, the power cord or outlet may be damaged.

  26. Do not use this appliance with a program, timer, remote control system or any other component that switches the appliance on automatically.

  27. Do not insert any objects or fingers, hands, hair or loose clothing into or near the inlets or outlets of the appliance.

  28. Take extra care when children move around the appliance, especially when it is turned on.

  29. Do not use the appliance in places where gasoline, paints or other flammable substances are stored.

  30. Always switch off the appliance and disconnect the plug from the outlet when you are not using the appliance, if you leave it unattended, before cleaning, disassembling, assembling or performing routine maintenance.

  31. Use the appliance only in accordance with the instructions given in this instruction manual.

  32. Keep the appliance clean. Check it regularly.

  33. Do not use the appliance without properly installed inlet filter.

  34. Move, store and transport the appliance in a vertical position.

  35. Do not attempt to disassemble the outer casing of the appliance.

  36. If you notice an unpleasant odour or noise during use, stop using the appliance, switch it off and unplug the power cord from the outlet.
    Contact an authorized service centre.

  37. The appliance’s remote control uses a battery to power it.
    Do not swallow the battery.
    There is a risk of chemical burns, even in a very short time, which can lead to death.
    If a swallowing of battery is suspected, seek medical attention immediately.

  38. Keep batteries out of the reach of children.

  39. Dispose of used batteries in an environmentally friendly manner.

USE

Before first use
Remove the appliance and its accessories from the packaging.
Before disposing of the packaging, be sure to remove all components.
Check that the appliance and any accessories are not damaged.
Wipe the outside of the appliance with a cloth slightly dampened in water.
Wipe dry. Turning On / Off

  1. Place the heater on a dry, even, and solid surface at a sufficient distance in the power socket and out of reach of heat-sensitive objects and flammable materials.

  2. Insert the plug to a power socket.

  3. Set the main switch to position I (on) and an audible warninp sounds.
    The heater is now in standby mode.
    The display shows “- -” and only and buttons are illuminated.

  4. Press  button and the heater starts running in default setting:

    • Low power setting, only the icon is lit on the display;
    • The numeric display shows the default temperature “35 °C” and icon °C” is illuminated;
    • Timer is off;
    • Fan is on;
    • ECO mode is off.
      Note:
      Temperature is shown on the numeric display after evaluation, after about 10 seconds.
      This is a normal phenomenon.
      If you switch the heater to cooling mode more than 30 seconds before turning it off, the fan will be turned off directly.
  5. Once you have finished using, press  button and the heater will turn off and switch to the standby mode.

  6. To switch the heater off completely, set the main switch to position 0 (off) and disconnect the plug from the power socket.
    Note:
    After switching the heater to the standby mode, last working setting will be stored in its memory.
    If you turn the heater on, it will restore last working setting (except the timer function).
    But if you set the main switch to position 0 (off) and disconnect the plug from the power socket, the heater will start running at default setting when switched on again.

Power level setting

  1. While the heater is running, press repeatedly button and set the power level as following: high power heating—defrosting—low power heating, etc.

  2. When you set low power heating, the heating element will run at low power and the icon is lit on the display.

  3. When you set high power heating, the heating element will run at high power and the icon is lit on the display.
    When switching from low to high power, the high power will work after seconds.
    This is a normal phenomenon.

  4. When you set defrosting, the heating element is off and the icon is it on the display.
    The heater will automatically keep the room temperature at 7 °C.
    Note:
    When the heating element is working, the fan is running at the same time.
    When you turn the heater off, the heating element is automatically turned off, but the fan will stop running after about 30 seconds. This is a normal phenomenon.

Temperature setting

  1. While the heater is running, press shortly button once.
  2. Use the +/- buttons to set the desired temperature in the range from 15 to 35 °C.
  3. The value will be automatically stored after about 5 seconds of inactivity or by pressing any button, except +/- buttons.
  4. When the room temperature reached the set temperature, the heater stops running and it will switch to sleep mode.
    As soon as the room temperature has dropped to 2 ”C below the set temperature, the heater will automatically restore the operation.
    Note:
    Press and hold + or — button to speed up the setting.

ECO mode

  1. While the heater is running, press button twice.

  2. The heater will automatically switch to ECO mode and the icon ECO will be lit on the display.
    The numeric display goes off. (If the timer is set, it shows the set timer.)
    In the ECO mode, the heater automatically adjusts the power level according to the surrounding temperature which ensures effective and economical operation of the heater.

  3. If the surrounding temperature is 18 °C or low, the heater will run at high power.

  4. If the surrounding temperature is in the range from l8 °C to 25 °C, the heater will run at low power.

  5. If the surrounding temperature is higher than 25 °C, the heater stops running and it will switch to sleep mode.

Timer function
The timer function allows to turn the heater off or on after the set time.
The heater is equipped with two timer modes:

  • Automatic turn off after the set time; and
  • Automatic turn on after the set time.

Automatic turn-off

  • While the heater is running, press button to enter the auto-off time setting mode.

  • Use the +/- buttons to set the time after which the heater turns off and switches to the standby mode.
    The time can be set in the range from 0 to 24 hours.

  • The value will be automatically stored after about 5 seconds of inactivity or by pressing any button, except +/- buttons.

  • Once saved, the countdown will automatically start.

  • As soon as the set time has elapsed, the heater will turn off and switch to the standby rnode.
    Note:
    The numeric display shows only the temperature.
    If the auto-off timer is set, it will show temperature and time of the timer alternately with an interval of 30 seconds.

Automatic turn-on

  • While the heater is in the standby mode, press button to enter the auto-on time setting mode.

  • Use the +/- buttons to set the time after which the heater turns on.
    The time can be set in the range from 0 to 24 hours.

  • The value will be automatically stored after about 5 seconds of inactivity or by pressing any button, except +/- buttons.

  • Once saved, the countdown will automatically start.

  • As soon as the set time has elapsed, the heater will turn on in the mode and setting in which it was switched off.

Horizontal oscillation

While the heater is running, press button to activate the horizontal oscillation function.
The icon lights up on the display and the heater starts to rotate horizontally at the angle of about 80°.
If you need to turn the horizontal oscillation function off, press button.
The icon goes off on the display and the heater stops rotating.
It stays at the angle when the horizontal oscillation function has been turned off.

Display backlight on/off.
To turn off the display backlight, press button.
The display backlight goes off.
To turn on the display backlight, press button again.

Note:
The display backlight automatically dims after 1 minute of inactivity.
Press any button to restore the brightness of the display backlight.

Automatic switch-off
The heater will automatically turn off and switch to the standby mode after 12 hours of continuous running without any operation unless the auto-off timer is set.

Overturning protection
If the heater turns over, it will be automatically turned off and switched to the standby mode.
When you place the heater to the upright position, it will stay at the standby mode.

Overheating protect on

When the heating element sensor detects the temperature higher than 55 °C, the heater will be automatically turned off and switched to the standby mode.
This is a protection function that protects the heater from overheating and damage.
In such case, set the main switch to position 0 (off), disconnect the plug from the power socket and allow the heater to cool down.
Once the temperature has dropped down below 45 °C, it is possible to use the heater again.
When there is a short-circuit of the heating element, the display will show “EE” error message and the heater will be turned off and switched to the standby mode.
Contact the authorized service.

Using the remote control

The buttons on the remote control correspond to the buttons on the control panel.
The principle of control is the same as the above-described procedures of setting the appliance and its functions.
The remote control is supplied with inserted batteries from the manufacturer.
To use the remote control, remove the protective film from the battery compartment.
It protects the battery from discharge and damage during transport.
If you want to use the remote control, point it to the signal receiver on the appliance.
The maximum range of signal sent from the remote control is 6 m.
If obstacles are located between the remote control and the appliance, the signal cannot be transmitted.
If the inserted battery is empty, it needs to be replaced by the same type.

Proceed as follows:

  1. Slide the cover with the battery compartment from the bottom of the remote control.

  2. Remove the depleted battery and insert a new CR2O32 battery.
    Observe correct polarity when inserting a battery.

  3. Insert cover with the compartment back into the remote control.
    If you will not use the remote control for a long time, we recommend removing the battery.
    If the battery leaks into the interior of the remote control, it could damage it.

| Warning:
Never put batteries in fire, short circuit or damage them in any way.
After the end of their lifetime, discard them in environmentally friendly manner.
Never dispose of batteries in household waste.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Before cleaning or any maintenance, always switch off the appliance, unplug the power cord from the outlet and allow it to cool down completely.

| Warning:
Never immerse the appliance, the power cord or the plup in water or any other liquid.

Do not use plastic or metal scrapers, harsh cleaners, chemicals, petrol, solvents or other similar substances to clean any parts of the appliance.
The surface finish could be seriously damaged.

Outer surface
Wipe the outside of the appliance with a cloth slightly dampened in warm water and wipe dry with a clean cloth.
Ensure no water or other liquid enters the interior.

Intel Filter

Clean regularly the inlet filter, at least once a month when used normally.

  1. Release the back protective grille and carefully remove it from the heater.

  2. Remove the filter and wash it in warm water with a little of neutral cleaning detergent.
    Wipe dry with a clean cloth.

  3. Wipe the back protective grille with a soft cloth slightly dampened in warm water.
    Wipe dry with a clean cloth.

  4. Place the filter on the back protective grille and put it to heater until it clicks.

Always make sure the grille and filter are dry before assembling the heater

Storage

Before storing, make sure that the appliance and its accessories are cool and clean.
Store the appliance and its accessories in a dry and well-ventilated place out of the reach of children or pets.
Do not place any objects on the appliance.

Protection against electric shock is provided by double or reinforced insulation.

DISPOSAL OF USED BATTERIES

Batteries contain materials harmful to the environment.
Do not dispose of batteries in a regular community waste.
Dispose of used batteries properly at collection points.
