SAFETY INFORMATION

Please read this manual carefully before use and keep it for future reference.

This product is intended for household use. Do not use it for medical or other purposes.
This product may be used by children and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, when supervised.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the product.
Do not use the product outdoors.
Always place it on a stable, level and firm surface. Do not place it on unstable surfaces, carpets, etc.
Do not place the product on or near an electric or gas stove, open flame or other heat source
Do not expose the product to direct sunlight.
Do not use the product in an environment with high humidity or in a very dusty environment.
Do not use this product within strong electromagnetic field.
Make sure that the platform is clean and dry before weighing. Always step on the scale barefoot and with dry feet. Otherwise, you may slip.
When weighing, stand still, place both feet on the platform.
The measured values are for personal use only. No medical conclusions can be drawn from the measurement results. If you suspect a possible worsening from the measured values, contact your general practitioner.
The measured values may not be accurate immediately after intense exercise (e.g. after circuit training), dehydration, long-term fasting, etc.
We recommend weighing at the same time every day. This allows you to achieve more relevant values.
Do not place any objects on the product. Store it in a horizontal position.
Remove the batteries if you will not be using the product for an extended period of time. There is a risk of damage by electrolyte leakage.
Always use new batteries of the same type. Never mix old and new batteries or batteries of different types. Never put batteries in fire, short circuit or damage them in any way. After the end of their lifetime, discard them in environmentally friendly manner. Never dispose of batteries in household waste.
Do not use rechargeable batteries to power the appliance.
Keep batteries out of the reach of children, as they can be dangerous to them. If a child swallows a battery, seek medical attention immediately.
Keep the product clean. Follow the instructions in this manual.
Do not immerse the product in water or any other liquids or rinse it under running water.
The product does not contain parts which can be serviced by a user. Have all repairs or adjustments carried out by an authorized service center.

USE

This scale transfers data to your smartphone app via Bluetooth. The measured values are stored in the application, from which you can, among other things, prepare a graph from the measured values and thus have at your disposal overview about your health.
Download the app to your smartphone and with the help of a scale you can take the first step to control your weight. The QR code for downloading the application can be found on page 3 of this manual.
You can also use this scale to measure and evaluate body fat (in %) and hydration rate (in %). In order to always achieve accurate measurement results, it is important to enter the correct information about your gender, height or age in the first place. The measured values are for personal use only. This scale is not intended for medical purposes and therefore cannot be used in medical facilities. This scale should not be used by children, pregnant women, people with symptoms of edema or people with heart bypass.

Before first use

Remove the scale from packaging. Before disposing of the packaging, be sure to remove all components. Check the scale for damage.
Wipe the scale with a soft sponge slightly dampened in warm water. Wipe dry with a clean cloth.

Inserting and replacing batteries

The batteries are supplied with the scale. The batteries must be inserted into the scale before use.

Remove the batteries from the protective packaging.
Turn the scale upside down and remove the battery compartment cover.
Insert three AAA batteries (3x 1.5 V) into the compartment. Observe the correct polarity, which is marked on the bottom of the battery compartment.
Replace the cover. When replacing the batteries, always replace all batteries at the same time. First remove the empty batteries and then insert new ones. Do not use alkaline and rechargeable batteries at the same time.

Warning:
Never put batteries in fire, short circuit or damage them in any way. After the end of their lifetime, discard them in environmentally friendly manner. Keep batteries out of the reach of children.

Note: If you will not be using the scale for a long time, remove the batteries to prevent electrolyte leakage and damage to the scale.

Weighing

Place the scale on a solid and level surface. Do not place the scale on carpets or other soft surfaces, as the measurement result may be skewed. Step lightly on the scale to turn it on and wait until the display shows “0:0” (kg or lb or st).
Stand barefoot with your feet so that your feet are on the tread. Stand still and straight as the measurement takes place.
The values on the display will stabilize and the weighing process is complete.

Use with application

This scale allows connection via Bluetooth and subsequent control using the universal TUYA application. You can download the application by scanning the QR code on page 3 or by searching for the “Tuya Smart” application in the App Store or Play Store. Once installed and running, the application will guide you through the controls and necessary settings.

Device registration and connection

Open the application and create your account or log in to an already created account. Follow the instructions on the screen of your smartphone.
Turn on the Bluetooth function on your device.
Click “Add Device” or “+” to find and add a new device to the app on the application’s homepage.
Start an automatic search for a new device. Once the scale is found, click on the scale icon to start the connection and pairing. The scale display must be lit during connection and pairing. If the app has not found the personal scale, press and hold the weighing unit change button until “CRL” appears on the display.
Select the user and enter personal data.

Note:
To ensure comprehensive and methodical measurements, enter true and real personal data.

Adding a user

Click on “Me” and select “Manage Users”.
Then click on the “+” symbol in the top right corner to add a user.

Switching users

To switch users, click on the user in the top left of the screen, then select the user. Alternatively, the scale itself can recognize the user and then you will be notified to switch the user.
Each account allows you to manage up to 10 users.

Switching units

Click on “Me” and select “Switch Units”.
Click on the unit to select the unit of weight or height.

Weighing process

Step lightly on the scale to turn it on and wait until the display shows “0:0” (kg/lb/ st).
Stand barefoot with your feet so that your feet are on the tread.
Note:
If you step on the scale with socks on, the scale will only measure your weight and BMI and display these values on the main screen. In order to get complete data, stand barefoot on the platform.
Stand still and straight as the measurement takes place.
Once the values on the display stabilize and flash, they are transferred to the application on your smartphone. After a successful transfer, the scale displays the weight and measured values and then the scale switches off automatically. The received data is evaluated in the application and stored in the measurement history.

Data display

In the app, you can view your weigh-in values and history of weights and measurements for weight, BMI, BMR, muscle mass, skeletal mass, etc. Click on “Record” to see the development of the values in the long term. You can view your entries by date, week or month.

Tips and advice

To ensure the measurement accuracy, we recommend taking measurements at the same time each day. Do not use the scale near an unstable and strong electromagnetic field.
If you will be using the scale after a long time, first step on it lightly, wait until the display lights up and “0” is displayed. Then wait until the scale switches off automatically. Only then can you perform the weighing.
Stand barefoot with your feet so that your feet are on the electrodes. Stand still and straight as the measurement takes place. If you stand on the edge of the scale, you could lose your balance and fall.
Do not use the scale in a humid and overly hot environment. The recommended operating temperature is 5-35 ° C.
When the batteries are low, replace them. Also, remove the batteries if you will not be using the scale for an extended period of time. There is a risk of electrolyte leakage and damage to the scale.
Protect the scale from falls, shocks or jolts.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Keep the scale clean. Wipe the scale with a soft sponge slightly dampened in warm water. Wipe dry with a clean cloth.

Warning:
Never immerse the scale in water or any other liquid

Do not use plastic or metal scouring pads, harsh cleaners, chemicals, petrol, solvents or other similar substances to clean any part of the scale. The surface finish could be seriously damaged.

Storage

Make sure that the scale is clean before you store it. Keep it in a dry and well-ventilated place out of the reach of children or pets. Do not place any objects on the scale.

TROUBLESHOOTING

Problem	Solution
The scale cannot be added to the device list.	Make sure the scale is working

and the batteries are not low.
Make sure Bluetooth is turned on in your phone.
Make sure that the distance between the scale and the mobile phone is no more than 5 metres.
Reset the scale. Press and hold the UNIT button until “CRL” appears on the display.
Fat values are not displayed in the app.| Make sure you step on the scale barefoot.
Make sure your feet are dry and the scale is also dry.
Weighing has not yet been completed if the scale display is flashing. Wait for the scale display to stabilize.
Bluetooth is not turned on in your phone.
The mobile phone is paired with another scale.
The scale gives inaccurate measurements.| Make sure the scale is placed on a hard, level sur- face.
Check that the scale sensors are clean and nothing is stuck to them.
Remove the batteries and insert new ones.
The app displays inaccurate data.| You have set inaccurate information about yourself. Check the entered data and correct gender, height and age if necessary.
How do I recalibrate after moving the scale or changing the batteries?| Press lightly on the scale to turn it on. Wait until the display shows “0:0” (kg/lb). The scale is calibrated.
The scale didn’t turn on.| Replace the batteries. Make sure you insert the batteries correctly.
How do I change the units?| If you need to change the weight unit of the scale, press the UNIT button at the bottom of the scale. Then the unit of weight is changed in the application.

If the problem with the scale is not listed in the table above or the problem cannot be solved, switch off the scale and contact an authorized service center

DISPOSAL OF USED BATTERIES

Batteries contain materials harmful to the environment. Do not dispose of batteries in a regular community waste. Dispose of used batteries properly at collection points.

The use of the WEEE Symbol indicates that this product should not be treated as household waste. By ensuring this product is disposed of correctly, you will help protect the environment. For more detailed information about the recycling of this product, please contact your local authority, your household waste disposal service provider, or the shop where you purchased the item.
