Thank you for purchasing a SIGURO appliance. We are grateful for your trust and are pleased to introduce the device to you on the following pages and introduce you to all its functions and uses. SAFETY INFORMATION
Please read this manual carefully before use and keep it for future reference.

This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, if they have been given supervision or instructions concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.

This appliance may be used by children older than 3 and younger than 8 years of age when under supervision and with the control unit always set to minimum temperature level.

Children must not play with the appliance.

Cleaning and maintenance performed by the user must not be performed by children without supervision.

If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service technician or similarly qualified personnel to prevent causing a dangerous situation.
Important instructions. Keep it for future reference. -
This is an underblanket. Before using, always ensure that it is properly spread and folded out.

Only use the appliance with the control unit supplied with it. By no mean, use a control unit of a different type.

If you do not use the appliance, clean it according to the instructions
in the chapter “Cleaning and maintenance” and store it out of reach of children in an enclosed and well-ventilated place, away from sources of heat. -
Before storing the appliance, make sure it has cooled down completely and the power cord is disconnected from the power socket.

Do not crease the appliance by placing items on the top of it when storing.

Inspect the appliance frequently for signs of wear or damage. If such signs do appear, if the appliance was incorrectly used or it does not work, return it to the supplier without any further use.

This appliance is not designed for medical use in hospitals.

Do not use the appliance when it is wet.
-
This appliance must not be used by persons unable to sense heat or by other handicapped persons unable to react to overheating.

Children under three years of age must not use this appliance because they are unable to react to overheating.

This appliance is designed to be washed in a washing machine at a temperature no greater than 30 °C. The control unit must not become damp during the washing process, and when drying, the power cord must be located in such a way as to prevent water from flowing into the switch or the control unit.

The power cord and the control unit may cause the risk of tangling, strangulation, shut-off or being stepped on when not correctly arranged. The user must ensure that protruding cords and power cords are arranged in a safe matter.

This appliance is designed for household use. Do not use it in industrial surroundings or outdoors!

This product is designed as a heating blanket for a short-term use. The product is used only as spread and folded out correctly. Do not fold, bend, or crease the product, or do not wrap yourself in it. Do not use the product for other purposes than it is intended to.

Do not use the product with wet hands or feet. Do not use the product with your shoes on. Before using the product, always take off your shoes.

The product must not be used as a mat for pets. There is a risk of biting and electric shock, possible resulting in the death of the animal.

Do not expose the product to extreme temperatures, direct sunshine, excessive humidity; and do not use it in an overly dust environment.
-
Do not please the product near heating elements, open fire, or other appliances or devices that are sources of heat.
-
Do not use the product near a bathtub, wash basin, or other container filled with water.
-
Do not use the product to heat rooms.
-
Do not place the product underneath matrasses.
-
Do not pin the product. When folding, do not use pins, or other sharp items to fix the product.
-
The electric and magnetic field emitted by the product may interfere with pacemaker. Before using, consult your doctor.

Before connecting the power cord plug to a power socket, make sure the voltage on the rating label is corresponding to the voltage in your power socket.

Do not place the power cord near hot surfaces, over sharp edges, or items. Do place heavy items on the power cord. Position the power cord so that it will not be stepped on or tripped over it. The power cord must not touch the hot surfaces.

Do not cover the control unit by other blankets, pillows, or other similar items. It is important the control unit is easily and freely accessible in case of a sudden switch-off.

Do not leave the product unattended while in use.

In case of long using, or using overnight, set the lowest temperature level. Do not set a higher temperature level.

If you do not use the product, do not leave it unattended. Before moving, cleaning, or storing, turn it off, disconnect the plug from the power socket and allow it to cool down.

Do not use the product on an adjustable bed.
-
Connect the power cord by pulling the plug, not by pulling the cord.
-
Use and store the product away from flammable and volatile substances. Do not use an open fire, or do not smoke on or near the product.

Do not spray the product by water, or other liquid while in use. Do not immerse the product to water, or other liquid while in use.

If the product is folded, creased, or not used correctly, it can overheat. In such case, the non-return thermal fuse is activated, and the products switches off. Take the product to an authorized service centre for repair.

If the product voltage is lower than the recommended voltage, the temperature will rise more slowly, which will also slow down the heating. It is not a malfunction of the product, pay attention to the voltage on the product rating label and in your network.

The indicator light and electric circuit of the product are connected in parallel. The indicator light does not influence the heating generation of the product when it is broken. It is necessary to check the product regularly whether it is not damaged.

Do not use the product if it is damaged, or the power cord is damaged. Do not repair the product yourself, and do not modify in any way. There is a risk of electric shock! Have all repairs and adjustments of this products performed by an authorised service centre.

The product is equipped with a thermal fuse. Do not take it out of service.

USE
Before first use
Remove the appliance and accessories from the box. Before disposing of the
packaging, be sure to remove all components. Check the appliance or
accessories are not damaged.
Using
-
Lay the blanket on the place where you want to use it. The part where the control unit is located is the top part. The blanket must be spread and folded out completely, it must not be folded, bended, or creased.

You can fix the corners of the blanket to the bed or matrass by non-metal straps to ensure the blanket will not roll. You can spread a thin sheet on the blanket. Make sure it is evenly distributed.

Unwind the power cord and insert the power plug into a power socket.
-
Use the control unit to set the desired temperature in the range from 1 to 3, where “1” represents the lowest temperature level and “3” the highest temperature level. The indicator light will illuminate as well.

The preheating normally takes 30 up to 50 minutes so if you need to heat the
blanket quickly, set the highest temperature and then, lower it as needed.
Warning:
While the blanket is running, do not cover the control unit by other blankets, pillows, or other similar items. It is important the control unit is easily and freely accessible in case of a sudden switch-off. -
If you want to use the blanket for a longer time, e.g., overnight, set the temperature level to “1”.

When you do not use the blanket, switch the control unit to “0” position, the indicator light switches off and the blanket stops heating. Disconnect the plug from the power socket.
Important
To ensure a safe use of the product, observe the following precautions
- Before each use, check the product, power cord, plug and control unit whether these are not damaged, or do not show signs of damage. If the product is damaged, or you are not sure whether the product is damaged, do not use it and contact the authorised service centre.
- During the use, regularly check the product is spread and folded out. If it is rolled or creased, turn it off and straightened it.
- The heating elements inside the product must be always straightened. Avoid using the product when it is folded, bended or creased.
- If the product is placed on the bed or matrass, do not allow children or pets to jump on the blanket. If this happens, check the product is not damaged.
- In the event of accident or damage (e.g., there is a visible smoke, fire; you can hear abnormal sound; you can smell unpleasant odour, etc.), turn off the product first, and disconnect from the power supply. Then check whether it is not damaged.
- Have all repairs and adjustments performed by an authorised service centre.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Before cleaning or any maintenance, always turn off appliance, unplug the power cord plug from the power socket and allow it to cool down completely.
Warning:
Never immerse the appliance, power cord, or plug in water or any other liquid.
Do not use plastic or metal scrapers, harsh cleaners, chemicals, petrol,
solvents, or other similar substances to clean any parts of the appliance. The
surface finish could be seriously damaged.
Daily maintenance
Small stains can be removed using a dry cloth, or soft sponge, soaked in
lukewarm water.
Washing
It is possible to wash the product in a washing machine at a maximum
temperature of 30°C, delicate cycle. Or you can wash the blanket by hand at a
maximum temperature of 30°C. Before washing, it is necessary to remove the
control unit and power cord. Pull out the power cord from the blanket. When
washing in a washing machine, do not use the spin-dry. Wring the blanket in
hands, spread and allow it to dry naturally. Do not use a tumbler dryer, hair
dryer, or other appliances to dry it.
Warning:
Never wash the blanket together with the power cord. Do not turn on the
blanket to dry it.
Storage
Before storing, make sure the appliance and the accessories are cooled down
and clean. Store the appliance and the accessories in a dry and well-
ventilated place out of the reach of children, or pets. Do not place any
objects on it.
