SIGURO SGR-CM-G650SS Filter Coffee Machine
- Thank you for purchasing a SIGURO appliance. We are grateful for your trust and we are pleased to introduce to you the appliance on the following pages and acquaint you with all its functions and uses.

SAFETY INFORMATION
Please read this manual carefully before use and keep it for future reference.
- This appliance may use children 8 years of age and older if they are supervised or instructed in the safe use of the appliance and understand the potential dangers. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be done by children unless they are 8 years old and under supervision. Keep the appliance and its power cord out of the reach of children under 8 years of age.
- The appliance may be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, provided they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe manner and understand the potential hazards. Children must not play with the device.
- Before plugging in the appliance to the outlet make sure that the voltage indicated on the appliance corresponds to the local power voltage.
- Connect the appliance to a properly grounded outlet.
- If you find a defect in the plug, the power cord or the appliance, do not continue using it.
- Never immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid.
- Always unplug the appliance if it is left unattended and before assembly, disassembly or cleaning.
- This appliance is intended for use in the home and similar spaces, such as:
- kitchenettes in shops, offices and other workplaces,
- In agriculture
- by guests in hotels, motels and other residential areas,
- in bed and breakfast establishments
- Do not place the device on a hot surface and also make sure that the power cord does not come into contact with hot surfaces.
- Do not place the coffee machine in the cabinet while it is in use.
- The filter holder, the bottom of the appliance, the hot plate and the coffee pot are hot during operation and before switching off the appliance.
- Do not place the kettle on the stove or in the microwave to preheat the coffee.
- Unplug the appliance before cleaning or if problems occur during coffee brewing.
- Never leave an empty coffee pot on the hot plate of the coffee machine. Danger of breakage.
- Do not let the power cord hang over the edge of the table or worktop on which the machine is placed.
- Take extra care not to spill liquid on the plug, electrical outlet, or power cord.
- Improper use and non-compliance with the instructions in this operating manual can result in injury.
- The manufacturer declines any liability for damage caused by improper use or failure to follow the instructions in this manual. Improper use or non-compliance with the instructions will void the warranty.

USE
Before first use
- To ensure that your first cup of coffee prepared in this drip coffee maker tastes as expected, we recommend rinsing the appliance before using it for the first time.
The procedure is as follows:
- Open the top cover and pour about 1.5 litres into the water tank.
- Insert the filter for ground coffee in the compartment, but leave it empty.
- Put the glass coffee carafe on the plate under the drip coffee maker.
- Plug in the drip coffee maker and press any button on the control panel.
- The display shows 12:00 (you can set the time later).
- PressThe red indicator lights up to indicate heating and making coffee.
- In this case, only the water is heated and dripped into a glass carafe.
- When all the water dripped through, press twice the button.
- The drips coffee maker shuts off and after about two minutes switches to standby mode.
- The drip coffee maker is ready for use.
Making drip coffee
- Open the top cover and pour an amount of water into the tank that corresponds to the required amount of coffee.
- The mark on the side shows the water level approximately according to the number of cups.
- Insert the ground coffee filter in the compartment and spoon the required amount of ground coffee into it.
- Plug in the drip coffee maker and press any button on the control panel. Press z.
- The red indicator lights up to indicate heating and making coffee.
- When all the water dripped through, press the button. The blue indicator lights up, which means temperature maintenance of the dripped coffee.
- The drip coffee machine shuts off automatically after 35 minutes or you can turn it off by pressing again.
Coffee intensity setting
- The drip coffee machine allows you to set the intensity of the dripped coffee.
- The principle is based on the time interval during which the extraction of ground coffee takes place
- the longer the coffee is soaked in water, the more intense its taste will be.
- The drip coffee machine offers 3 levels of coffee intensity marked on the display by the number of coffee beans.
To set up, proceed as follows:
- Start the coffee machine.
- Press MODE repeatedly to set low medium or high intensity.
- Start brewing coffee according to the procedure above.
- Attention: The coffee intensity can only be set before the coffee drip starts.
Clock setting
- Setting the clock is especially important for setting the timed coffee brewing at a given time. To set the clock, proceed as follows:
- Press PROG once to go to the CLOCK mode. The mode name will show on the display.
- Use the buttons HOUR (hour) and MIN (minute) to set the correct time.
- The appliance automatically returns to standby mode after a while if there is no other action performed.
Setting automatic coffee brewing for a specific time
- The drip coffee maker can be set to start brewing coffee automatically at a specified time. To set it up, proceed as follows:
- Pour the required amount of water into the drip coffee maker and put the ground coffee into the filter.
- Press twice the PROG button to go to the TIMER mode. The mode name will show on the display.
- Use the buttons HOUR (hour) and MIN (minute) set the required time to start coffee brewing.
- To confirm the set time, press the on/off button twice.
- The indicator light will turn blue.
- The appliance automatically returns to standby mode after a while if there is no other action performed.
- At the set time, the color of the indicator light will change to red and coffee brewing will start automatically.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Regular maintenance
- Before cleaning, always unplug the power cord and allow the appliance to cool down thoroughly.
- Wipe the outside of the appliance with a damp cloth and then wipe dry. Clean the water tank and drip tray regularly.
- Do not use alcohol, solvents, or abrasives to clean since they could damage the finish. Never immerse the base of the appliance in the water!
- Remove the filter and remove the coffee grounds. Then you can wash it with detergent, but in any case, it is necessary to at least rinse it with water.
- Wash all removable parts with water and dry thoroughly.
Descaling
- In order for the coffee machine to serve you well, you should regularly remove scale every three months or as needed (depending on water quality and frequency of use).
Proceed as follows:
- Fill the carafe with one part vinegar and three parts cold water.
- Pour the mixture of water and vinegar in the water tank.
- Do not put coffee in the coffee machine and brew the wine solution as described in the chapter “Before using for the first time”.
- Repeat as needed until a yellowish liquid stops flowing out of the coffee machine.
- Then let the coffee machine boil clean water until the smell of vinegar disappears.
