Thank you for purchasing a SIGURO appliance. We are grateful for your trust and are pleased to introduce the device to you on the following pages and introduce you to all its functions and uses.

SAFETY INFORMATION

Please read this manual carefully before use and keep it for future reference.

  1. This appliance is intended for use by children 8 years of age and older and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, provided they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe manner and understand the potential hazards.

  2. Children must not play with the device.

  3. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be done by children without supervision.

  4. If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a dangerous situation.

  5. Do not use the appliance to vacuum water.

  6. Do not immerse to water while cleaning.

  7. Check the appliance regularly. If it is damaged, it must not be used.

  8. Always ensure the appliance is switched off when cleaning it or performing regular maintenance.

  9. Follow the instructions about use and maintenance, stated in this manual.

  10. Use the appliance only with the supplied battery, power adapter and accessories.

  11. WARNING: Avoid contact with the rotary brush of the floor nozzle. There is a risk of getting caught on this part and possible injury.

  12. This vacuum cleaner is designed for use in households, offices, and similar types of areas. Do not use in industrial surroundings, or for commercial purposes.

  13. Before connecting the adapter to a power socket, make sure the input voltage on its rating label match the electrical voltage in the power socket.

  14. Make sure the appliance is correctly assembled before using.

  15. Do not place the appliance near open fire, or other sources of heat. Do not expose it to direct sunshine.

  16. Make sure the adapter power cord is not touching a hot surface or sharp objects. Position the adapter power cord so that it will not be tripped over.

  17. Do not block the air outlets and inlets.

  18. This appliance is intended for vacuuming dirt from floors, carpets, or upholstery, shelves, etc. Do not it for vacuuming:
    ‐ smouldering cigarettes, burning items, matches or embers;
    ‐ water and other liquids;
    ‐ flammable or volatile materials;
    ‐ items, e.g. broken glass, needles, pins, etc.;
    ‐ flour, wall plaster, cement and other building materials;
    ‐ larger pieces of paper or plastic bags, which can easily block the suction hole.

  19. Vacuuming of some types of floors or floor surfaces can create an electrostatic discharge, which presents no danger to the user.

  20. Do not place the floor nozzle or tube to any part of your face or body.

  21. Always turn off the vacuum cleaner when leaving it without supervision, after finishing using it and before cleaning it.

  22. Disconnect the power adapter from the power socket before cleaning it and after it has finished charging.

  23. Disconnect the power adapter from the power socket by pulling on the plug, never pull on the power cord. Otherwise, this could damage the power adapter or the socket.

  24. If the power adapter is damaged, it must be replaced with an original type. For a replacement power adapter, please contact an authorised service centre.

  25. Do not use the vacuum cleaner if it is not working correctly if it has been damaged or has been submerged in water.

  26. Do not repair the vacuum cleaner yourself or make any adjustments to it. All repairs should be performed at an authorised service centre.

USE

Before first use
Remove the appliance and its accessories from the packaging. Before disposing the packaging, make sure all components have been removed. Check the appliance and its accessories for damage.
Assembly of the vacuum cleaner
The vacuum cleaner is supplied disassembled. To assemble, follow these instructions:

  1. Place the floor nozzle on a flat and dry surface. Attach the tube on the floor nozzle so that the connector at the back of the tube fits the hole at the back of the floor nozzle. Push gently until it clicks.
  2. Attach the motor unit on the tube so that the connector at the back of the motor unit fits the hole at the back of the tube. Push the tube gently until it clicks.

When disassembling, press the tube lock first to release the motor unit and pull it out of the tube. Then press the floor nozzle lock to release the tube and pull it out of the floor nozzle.

Charging the battery

  1. Insert the power adapter connector to socket and insert the power adapter plug to power socket.
  2. The LED charging light will start to flash.
  3. When the battery is fully charged, the LED charging light will turn off.
    Note:
    The vacuum cleaner will automatically turn off when the battery is almost discharged. Fully charge the battery before the first use. Fully discharge it before re-charging.

The vacuum cleaner is provided with Li-Ion battery. To prolong its lifetime, the battery should be charged regularly even when you do not use the vacuum cleaner. We recommend charging the battery every 3 months. Do not leave the battery charged or discharged for a long time.
Warning:
Always use the supplied power adapter to charge the battery.

Accessories
The vacuum is supplied with long crevice nozzle and combined brush nozzle. It is possible to attach both nozzles to the motor unit as well as to the tube.
Long crevice nozzle is used to vacuum dust and dirt from corners, narrow or hard-to-reach places.
Combined brush nozzle is used to vacuum dust and dirt from corners, upholstery furniture, shelves, bookshelf, etc. Press the lock and move forward to slide the brush out and, on the contrary, press the lock and move backward to slide the brush back.
Using

  1. Check the vacuum cleaner is correctly assembled and battery is charged.
  2. Press the on / off button and the vacuum cleaner switches on. 3. Press the power button repeatedly to set the vacuum cleaner power as follows: low–high.
  3. After finishing the vacuuming, press the on / off button the vacuum cleaner switches off.

Note:
To prevent the floor nozzle or the tube from clogging or blocking, do not vacuum big objects, paper, fabrics, etc.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Always switch the vacuum cleaner off before cleaning or any maintenance.
Warning:
Never immerse the appliance, or power adapter in water or any other liquid.
Do not use plastic or metal scrapers, harsh cleaners, chemicals, petrol, solvents or other similar substances to clean any parts of the appliance. The surface finish could be seriously damaged.
Empty the dust container
Empty the dust container after each use. However, if the dust container gets filled to MAX line during vacuuming, it is necessary to empty it immediately.

  1. Remove the motor unit from the tube.
  2. Place the motor unit above the dust bin. The dust container bottom should face down.
  3. Press the lock and the container bottom is released and opens. The container content will empty into the dust bin.
  4. Press the container bottom against the container body until it clicks.

Note:
We recommend emptying the dust container outside.

Cleaning the dust container
Clean the dust container and filters regularly to prevent unpleasant odours.

  1. Empty the dust container and close the bottom.
  2. Press the dust container release button and carefully pull it from the motor unit.
  3. Remove the filter unit from the container.
  4. Disassembly the filter unit (see fig. A on page 3) and wash thoroughly all parts in clean, lukewarm water. Wipe dry.
  5. Wipe the interior of the dust container with a lightly dampened sponge and wipe with a dry cloth.
  6. Always make sure all parts are dry before assembling.
  7. Assemble the filter unit and put it back into the container.
  8. Insert the dust container to the motor unit.

Warning:
If any part of the dust container or filter unit is damaged, it must be replaced. Contact an authorised service in such case. It is dangerous to use the vacuum cleaner with a damaged filter unit or dust container.

Cleaning the floor nozzle
Regularly check and clean the floor nozzle. Accumulated dust and dirt may decrease the suction power of the vacuum cleaner.

  1. Press the floor nozzle lock and pull out the tube.
  2. Turn the floor nozzle upside down.
  3. Slide the lock of the rotary brush to left and remove it from the floor nozzle.
  4. Remove the tangled animal hair, hair, and other dirt from the rotary brush. Use scissors to remove the tangled hair or animal hair quickly.
  5. Wipe the inner space of the floor nozzle with slightly dampened sponge and wipe dry with a clean cloth.
  6. Insert the rotary brush back to the floor nozzle and slide the lock of the rotary brush to right.

Warning:
Do not immerse the floor nozzle or rotary brush in water or other liquid.

Storage when using
The vacuum cleaner is supplied with a holder. The holder can be mounted on the wall.
Follow these steps:

  1. Choose a place where the vacuum cleaner will be easily accessible. The minimum distance of the holder from the floor is 80 cm.
  2. Put the holder on the installation place and use a pencil to mark the points where the holes for wall plugs will be drilled.
  3. Drill the holes and insert the wall plugs into.
  4. Place the holder to the wall so that the holes in the holder are aligned with the drilled holes and wall plugs. Insert screws into the wall plugs and use a screwdriver to fix them. Check the holder does not move and the screws are properly tightened.

Storage
Before storing, make sure that the vacuum cleaner and its accessories are clean, the dust container is empty and properly cleaned, including the filter unit.
Keep the appliance and its accessories in a dry and well-ventilated place out of the reach of children or pets. Do not place any objects on the appliance.
We recommend charging the built-in battery regularly to prolong its lifetime.

DISPOSAL OF THE BUILT-IN BATTERY
**** The product is equipped with a built-in battery. That is necessary to remove it before the ecological disposal of the product or handling over the product at a collection facility. Battery may be removed only by qualified personnel at the authoriser service. Turn the vacuum cleaner on and wait until the battery is completely discharged. Then remove it from the product. The battery contains environmentally damaging substances and therefore does not belong in standard household waste. Hand over the battery at the respective collection facility for ecological disposal.
