IMPORTANT:
Always follow these instructions. Failure to do so can result in dangerous
exposure to laser radiation.
- Never look directly at the laser beam.
- Never point the laser beam at reflective surfaces, people or animals. Even low-power laser beams can injure the eyes.
- Never open the laser module.
- Never modify the product in any way, for example, to increase the power of the laser beam.
- The manufacturer can. accept liability for any personal injury and/or material damage resulting from failure to follow these safety instructions.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS FOR BATTERIES
- If a battery is inserted in an electrical product when the power switch is switched on there is a risk of personal injury and/or material damage.
- Incorrect use of the product can result in battery leakage. Avoid contact with batten/ fluid. On contact with battery fluid, rinse immediately with plenty of fresh water. If you get battery fluid in your eyes, rinse your eyes with clean water for at least 10 minutes and then seek medical attention immediately.
- Battery fluid can cause skin irritation and/ or burns.
- Do not expose batteries to heat, direct sunlight, naked flames, etc.
- Never attempt to charge batteries that are not rechargeable — the risk of explosion.
- Store batteries out of the reach of children and pets. Never short-circuit batteries, or attempt to open or dismantle batteries
- Seek medical attention immediately if anyone has swallowed a battery.
- If necessary, clean the battery terminals and product terminals before inserting new batteries.
- Insert the batteries with the correct polarity.
- Remove discharged batteries from the product at once, otherwise, there is a risk of battery leakage.
- Replace all the batteries at the same time.
- Only use batteries of the recommended type — do not mix different types of batteries, or new and old batteries.
- Check that the product is switched off before putting it away after use.
- Remove the batteries if the product is not used for some time.

DESCRIPTION
The product is a laser measuring tool to measure distance, area, and volume. The product must only be used for its intended purpose and in accordance with these instructions. All other use is considered to be unsuitable. The manufacturer cannot be held liable for any personal injury or material damage resulting from incorrect use. The full responsibility for any such personal injury or material damage rests on the user.
NOTE:
The product is not intended for commercial or industrial use. Commercial,
professional or industrial use (or equivalent) will invalidate the warranty.

**USE
**
UNPACKING AND CHECKING **
**
Carefully unpack the product and check that all the parts are included. Do not attempt to assemble or use the product if any parts are missing or damaged. Contact the retailer.
- Open the package and carefully unpack the product.
- Remove all packaging materials and any transport protection.
- Check that all the parts are included.
- Inspect the product and accessories for damage.
- Save the packaging materials for future use.
WARNING!
Do not allow children to play with the packaging material or the product. Do
not allow children to play with plastic bags, foil or small parts. Risk of
suffocation!
PREPARATIONS **
**
Inserting/replacing batteries
- Switch off the distance meter.
- Open and lift off the battery cover (6) by pressing the lock tab (a) and folding up the cover.
- Insert the batteries (b) with the correct polarity.
- Close the battery cover and check that the lock tab snaps properly in place.

HOW TO USE
IMPORTANT:
Adverse ambient conditions such as sunlight or low reflective surfaces can
have a negative effect on the measurements (range) and precision.
FUNCTION BUTTONS
A. ON/OFF button/measuring button
B. Selection of measuring function and setting of reference point for distance
measuring.

Starting and switching off
Tap the ON button/measuring button (A) to start the product. Press the ON
button/measuring button (A) for about 1 second to switch off the product.
SETTING THE REFERENCE POINT
Measurements can be done with the front or back of the product as a reference point. To switch between reference points, press the B button until the reference point changes.
- Reference point on the front of the product.

MEASURING
NOTE: The laser beam switches off automatically after each completed measurement. Press the ON button/measuring button.
SINGLE MEASUREMENT/DISTANCE

- Tap the A button to start the product.
- If necessary, press the B button to select the reference point for the measurement.
- Press the A button once to switch on the laser beam.
- Place the product with the selected reference point at the starting point for the measurement and point the laser beam at the target point.
- Press the A button once to measure.
→ The result is shown at the bottom, in the selected unit of measure (standard
setting in metres).

AREA MEASURING
Symbol
- Jap the A button to start the product.
- Press the B button once to select function.
- If necessary, press the B button again to select the reference point for the measurement.
- Press the A button once to switch on the laser beam.
- Place the product with the selected reference point at the starting point for the measurement and point the laser beam at the target point.
- Press the A button once to measure the length of the surface to be measured.
- Press the A button once to switch on the laser beam.
- Place the product with the selected reference point at the starting point for the measurement and point the laser beam at the target point.
- Press the A button once to measure the width of the surface to be measured.
→ The result is shown at the bottom, in m?.

- Press the A button once to switch on the laser beam.
- Place the product with the selected reference point at the starting point for the measurement and point the laser beam at the target point.
- Press the A button once to measure the length of the room to be measured.
- Press the A button once to switch on the laser beam.
- Place the product with the selected reference point at the starting point for the measurement and point the laser beam at the target point.
- Press the A button once to measure the width of the room to be measured,
- Press the A button once to switch on the laser beam.
- Place the product with the selected reference point at the starting point for the measurement and point the laser beam at the target point.
- Press the A button once to measure the height of the room to be measured.

MAINTENANCE
CLEANING
Use a soft cloth moistened with water and a mild detergent.
NOTE:
- Switch off the distance meter before cleaning.
- Make sure that no water gets into the product.
- Do not use abrasive or strong detergent/ solvent, they can damage the plastic parts.
STORAGE
Store the product and accessories in the original pack, in a dark, dry, frost- free place, out of the reach of children. The recommended storage temperature is from 5 to 30°C.
