3 WAYS TO MOUNTTHE ROCK LIGHT POD

  • STEP 1
    There are 3 installation methods for you to choose, you can refer to the following methods to install.

    • OPTION 1
      Use “Strong Magnets” for mounting as shown in Fig. 1

    • OPTION 2
      Use “Self-Drilling Screws” for mounting as shown in Fig. 2

    • OPTION 3
      Use “VHB Double-Sided Adhesive” for mounting as shown in Fig. 3

  • IMPORTANT: Before starting installation ,we recommend that all rock light pods be checked to ensure that all functions are working properly.

  • STEP 2
    Designate your mounting locations for each Rock Light Pods and the Control Box. (Refer to Page 3 for RECOMMENDED MOUNTING LOCATIONS)

  • IMPORTANT: Avoid hot surfaces and / or moving parts.

  • STEP 3
    Start installing the LED Pods onto your vehicle. If any excess wiring are exposed during installation process, you must use the zip-ties to securely tie them together and tuck the wire into the junction area to avoid snagging or damage wires.

  • STEP 4
    Once the pods and wires are all safely installed onto your vehicle, you can now begin to use your Photons! Feel free to share a review along with a photo of installations so others users like yourself can enjoy the OPT7 Off-Road too! Rock on!
    CAUTION Rock Light Pods become extremely hot during use-keep away from any vehicle parts that may be damaged by exposure to high temperatures.

2 WAYS TO INSTALL THE CONTROL BOX

  • STEP 1
    As show below, connect all the Rock Light Pods to the control box with the included extension wires.

CAUTION Avoid installation areas of the engine bay + heated surfaces.

  • STEP 2
    There are two ways to power the rock lights using a 12volt power supply. For details refer to the instructions below:

    • OPTION A
      EASY INSTALL ­ can be connected through a 12V cigarette lighter or charging port

  *  **OPTION B**  

Expert Install ­ can be installed the fuse tap method, connect the positive wire to a 10amp switched fuse tap, next connect the open negative wire to ground any metal surface in the vehicle.|
IMPORTANT: Connecting to more then 10amp will override the kit and cause early failure, ensure it is 10amps or less!

WARNING: Please ensure that the Rock light pod/control box/wiring all are mounted in areas where will not exceed 85C or 185F.
