USER MANUAL
Dear Customer,
Thank you for purchasing the Neno Luna Steriliser and Bottle Warmer. Please read the instruction manual before use and keep it in case you need to use it again.

PRECAUTIONS

  1. Carefully read the instructions before use.
  2. To avoid flooding of the sterilizer, do not clean it under running water.
  3. Keep the device away from children and babies. Unplug the sterilizer if it is not used for a long time.
  4. If the plug or cable is damaged, return it to Neno service, or contact an authorised representative.
  5. Do not pour milk or food directly into the warming vessel.
  6. Make sure that the heating time is not too long so that the food does not lose its nutritional value.
  7. Before feeding your baby, check the temperature of the food on your wrist.
  8. The steriliser may be used by adults and children over 8 years of age under adult supervision. Adults with limited physical, mental and sensory abilities may use the device under the supervision of another adult.
  9. Cleaning and maintenance should be carried out by adults or children over 8 years of age under adult supervision. Keep all parts of the appliance away from children under 8 years of age.
  10. Tips: for improved user comfort, before first use wipe the sterilizer with a wet wipe. Wash the bottle basket, pour distilled water into the heater and switch on the sterilization function. After sterilization pour out the water and leave the device to dry.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

  1. Unplug the unit from the outlet and allow to cool before cleaning.
  2. Be careful not to damage the heating surface with sharp metal tools.
  3. If scale accumulates, add citric acid or vinegar to the water and boil using the sterilisation function.
  4. Cleaning: remove the top cover from the body and wipe the surface of the device with a damp, soft cloth.
  5. It is recommended to clean the device every 10-15 days.
  6. After cleaning the device, allow it to dry. Do not immerse the body in water for cleaning.
  7. Every two months it is recommended to pour a mixture of citric acid and vinegar or detergent over the dish and leave it for 10 minutes, then rinse it under running water.

OPERATION OF THE DEVICE

  1. The device will automatically go to sleep when the plug is inserted into the socket.
  2. Press the power button to turn the device on or off. When turned on, the function indicators will illuminate on the screen.
  3. Press the „Mode” button to select the quick heat, reheat/thaw, reheat food or sterilise functions.
    a. Fast heating: insert the basket into the steriliser, pour in 40 ml of distilled water and then insert the feeding bottle and replace the lid. Press the „Mode” button until „Fast” lights up and the screen shows a temperature of 37°C. In this mode you can set a time between 1 and 8 minutes, which you can do using the corresponding buttons. The word „Fast” will light up 2 times, the appliance will make a sound and start heating. During heating, the screen will show the remaining heating time and the displayed temperature of 37°C is the target bottle temperature. Check the chart provided with the product or SEE FIG.C to adjust the time according to the amount of food to be heated. When the rapid heating is finished, the machine will beep 5 times and will automatically switch on the 24hour „Milk” mode, to maintain the temperature of the heated food, add distilled water to the 160ml (MAX) line. If the appliance starts working without water it will automatically switch off and can only be used again once it has cooled down to room temperature, thus prolonging the life of the appliance. Check the temperature of the warmed food before feeding it to your baby.

Before feeding, make sure the food is at safe temperature to give to your baby. If the food is not warm enough, place the bottle back in the warmer for 0.5-1 minutes.
    c. Heating/defrosting: insert the basket into the steriliser, pour in 160ml of distilled water and then insert the feeding bottle and replace the lid. Press the „Mode” button until „Milk” lights up and the screen shows the previously set temperature between 35°C and 60°C and the default time of 24 hours. In this mode you can set the temperature between 35°C and 60°C using the corresponding buttons. The word „Milk” will light up 2 times, the device will make a sound and start heating. During heating the display shows the current water temperature and the time of 24 hours will be replaced by blinking rectangular lights. The unit will beep 5 times to indicate when the set temperature has been reached and then when it has been finished. The 24 hours are counted from the time the water is heated to the set temperature.
    d. Food: use this mode to heat semi-liquid foods and maintain the temperature for up to 2 hours. Insert the basket into the steriliser, pour in 160ml of distilled water and then insert the food bottle and replace the lid. Press the „Mode” button until „Food” lights up and the screen shows the previously set temperature between 35°C and  60°C and the default time of 2 hours. The machine will beep five times to inform you that it is finished.
    e. Sterilization: Use this mode to sterilize bottles and teats. Place the basket in the steriliser, pour in 40ml of distilled water and then insert the bottle and/or teat and replace the lid. Press the „Mode” button until „Steam” lights up and the screen shows a temperature of 100°C. „Steam” will light up 2 times, the device will emit a sound and will start to heat. The fixed time of this function is 10 minutes. In this mode, the temperature and time cannot be changed. The device will beep 5 times to inform you that it is finished.
    f. Restart default settings: hold down the „Increase time/temperature” but- ton in the device’s sleep mode to restore the device to factory settings.
    ATTENTION: Using water other than distilled water causes scale and sediment accumulation and shortens the life of the device. The manufacturer recommends the use of distilled water.
