FIRST SET UP

  1. Turn on your PC. Make sure the system is fully loaded. It is desirable to have Internet connection on your PC.
  2. Connect device to the USE Type-C Female port of PC.
  3. Drivers will be installed automatically. Dialog windows may appear during the installation process — follow the operating system instructions.
  4. After successful set up you can use device’s functions — you can connect external USE-compatible devices and install memory cards microSDXCISDXC.

INTERNET LINE CONNECTION
The device has the LAN port software for operating systems Windows 8.1/10 and macOS 10.10 and above. It will be automatically Installed during the first connection to the PC. If this does not happen, please contact rombica service department.
To access the Internet, you should connect an Ethernet line cable from the provider to the adapter, which ends with a standard 8-pin connector with a latch. If authorized, contact your provider for instructions on how to access the Internet.
LAPTOP CHARGING
If your laptop supports charging standard Power Delivery through Type-C port, then you can charge the laptop while using the adapter. For this:

  1. Connect the adapter to Type-C of the laptop.
  2. Connect Type-C charger (charger not Included In set) to PD port of the adapter. Recommended to use the original charger from your laptop.

ANNOTATION

  1. Be sure that Type-C port In your PC support USB 3.0 Interface for high-speed mode. If Type-C port is only compatible with earlier versions of USB interface, the data transfer speed will be limited to a compatible version of the port interface.
  2. Device does not require additional power. It is Bus-powered device. If connected devices requires more power than the USB 3.0 interface provides, then operation of such a device Is not guaranteed.
  3. The power supply from the adapter ports is divided between the ports and is limited in total by the maximum power of the port of the computer to which the adapter is connected. When several devices are connected to the adapter ports at the same time, their total energy consumption should fit into the maximum power of the computer port. Otherwise, their simultaneous operation is not guaranteed.

SFETY INFORMATION

  1. Do not insert foreign objects to the device interfaces. Avoid influence of the high humidity, dust and dirt.
  2. Do not allow moisture to enter the device; do not Immerse it In liquid.
  3. Use dry soft lint-free cloth to clean device. Not allowed to use washing or cleaning liquids.
  4. To charge from a laptop, use only the original Type-C laptop charger that supports Power Delivery standard.
  5. Do not store or use device near heat sources and flammable objects, during low or high ambient temperature. Recommended temperature Is 5 to 35 °C.
  6. When connecting the adapter to the computer and external devices to the adapter, make sure the interfaces are compatible.
  7. Not allowed to drop or hit device. Do not try to open and repair broken device by yourself. Use service center.
  8. Connecting incompatible devices may damage the adapter.
  9. Keep the device out of reach of children. Do not bite or lick the device, as it may cause damage or explode device. Children or persons with disabilities should not use the des.4ce without the supervision of the responsible person. Watch out for young children so they daft play with the device.
  10. The adapter is not intended for commercial use.
  11. Do not cover working device by cloth or other material.
