1. Turn off your computer and unplug the power supply cable.

2. Open the cabinet and insert the card into a free PCI-Express position.

3. Connect the power cable to the 4-pin MOLEX connector.

4. Close the case, connect the power and turn on the computer.

5. Windows 10, 8.1, 8:
   • The card is detected and installed automatically.
   • There is no need to install any drivers, they are part of the OS.  Windows 7 :
   • The card is detected and the VIA drivers must be installed for the USB 3.0 controller to work properly.
   • Download the latest driver from www.axagon.eu/produkty/pceu- 232vl.
   • When the download is complete, expand the downloaded file and run setup.exe.
   • Follow the on-screen instructions until the installation is completed.

6.  Check the successful installation in Device Manager (Fig. 1,2).

To achieve full USB 3.0 speed, you must install the card into the motherboard with a PCI-Express slot compliant with PCIe 2.0 specification. Some external SSDs may have a low speed of reading. The solution is to manually install the VIA drivers found on the product page at www.axagon.eu.
