IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
When using electrical products, basic precautions should always be followed including the following:
- READ AND FOLLOW ALL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS.
- Do not use seasonal products outdoors unless marked suitable for indoor and outdoor use. When products are used in outdoor applications, connect the product to a Ground Fault Circuit Interrupting (GFCI) outlet. If one is not provided, contact a qualified electrician for proper installation.
- This seasonal use product is not intended for permanent installation or use.
- Do not mount or place near gas or electric heaters, fireplace, candles or other similar sources of heat.
- Do not secure the wiring of the product with staples or nails, or place on sharp hooks or nails.
- Do not let lamps rest on the supply cord or on any wire.
- Unplug the product when leaving the house, when retiring for the night, or if left unattended.
- This is an electric product-not a toy! To avoid risk of fire, burns, personal injury and electric shock it should not be played with or placed where small children can reach it.
- Do not use this product for other than its intended use.
- Do not hang ornaments or other objects from cord, wire, or light string.
- Do not place lighting string on carpeting, drapes, furniture, or allow it to contact vinyl siding while the power is on.
- Do not perform any maintenance or troubleshoot for bad or broken lamps while the power is on.
- Do not close doors or windows on the product or extension cords as this may damage the wire insulation.
- Do not cover the product with cloth, paper or any material not part of the product when in use.
- This product is equipped with push-in type lamps. Do not twist lamps.
- This product employs overload protection (fuse). A blown fuse indicates an overload or short-circuit situation. If the fuse blows, unplug the product from the outlet. Also unplug any additional strings or products that may be attached to the product. Replace the fuse as per the user servicing instructions (follow product marking for proper fuse rating) and check the product. If the replacement fuse blows, a short-circuit may be present and the product should be discarded.

Use and Care Instructions

When the product is placed on a live tree, the tree should be well maintained and fresh. Do not place on live trees in which the needles are brown or break off easily. Keep the tree holder filled with water.

If the product is placed on a tree, the tree should be well secured and stable.

Before using or reusing, inspect product carefully. Discard any products that have cut, damaged, or frayed wire insulation or cords, cracks in the lampholders or enclosures,

se connections, or exposed copper wire.

When storing the product, carefully remove the product from wherever it is placed, including tree branches, or bushes, to avoid any undue
strain or stress on the product conductors, connections, and wires. -
When not in use, store neatly in a cool, dry location protected from sunlight.
User Servicing Instructions
Fuse replacement:
Most often, fuses blow because too many sets have been strung end-to-end.
- Before changing fuses, make sure the set is unplugged.
- Grasp plug and remove from the receptacle or other outlet device. Do not unplug by pulling on cord.
- Using a flathead screwdriver, open fuse cover. Slide open the fuse access cover on top of attachment plug towards blades.
- Removes fuses carefully.
- Risk of fire. Replace fuse only with 3 Amp, 125 Volt fuse (provided with product).
- Close fuse cover. Slide closed the fuse access cover on top of current tap. Make sure door is fully closed and fuses are completely covered.
- Risk of fire. Do not replace current tap. Contains a safety device (fuse) that should not be removed. Discard product if the current tap is damaged.
Bulb replacement:
Before changing bulbs, make sure set is unplugged.
- Step 1: Grasp plug and remove from the receptacle or other outlet device. Do not unplug by pulling on cord.
- Step 2: Hold bulb by the plastic base and pull bulb/base straight out of socket.
- Step 3: Replace lamp with only 8 Volt, 0.72 Watt super brightness midget push- in type lamp provided with product.
Push spare bulb/base assembly into socket. Do not twist bulb when inserting into socket. If bulbs are twisted, part of the set will not light.
If the spare bulbs provided with the product have no plastic base or the plastic base does not fit , first follow steps 1 – 2 above. Then
- Remove the old bulb by straightening the bulb wires and pulling bulb straight from the base.
- Replace the new bulb by straightening the bulb leads and aiming each wire into a separate hole in the plastic base.
- Make sure each bulb lead comes out an exit opening at the bottom of the plastic base.
Now bend each lead up such that each bulb lead fits closely agains the narrow side of the plastic base.
- This lighting string is rated 10.8 Watts (0.09 Amps), do not overload.
- Replace lamps only with 8 volt, 0.72 Watt spare lamps provided with this product
- Risk of fire. This product does not contain lamp shunts in order to allow the product to operate if one lamp burns out. Do not replace lamps with other than the spare lamps provided with this product.

If the product does not
light
| One or more of the based bulbs may have
loosened from the socket during transporting. Thereis a break in the circuit between the bulb leads and the socket terminals. Fuse(s) may have moved.
| Unplug the set at the outlet. Starting
with the first unlit bulb, gently push(don’t twist) each bulb base firmly into the socket. If still does not light, then remove each based bulb to check for out of place lead wires. Open fuse door and check fuses.
If a bulb is broken| Bulbs may have hit against each other
when transporting.
| Mark socket(s) with a piece of tape and
unplug the set before removing the based bulb from the socket. Replace the broken bulb. Should another bulb flicker while doing this thatis a faulty bulb. Replace with a new bulb.
If a based bulbis
missing
| One or more of the based bulbs may have
come out of the socket when transporting.
| Mark socket with a piece of tape and
unplug the set. Replace based bulb or use one of the spare based bulbs included with product.
If a bulb burns out| Incorrect bulb, premature bulb failure or
voltage is too high.
| The remaining bulbs should remainlit.
However, itis best to replace burned out bulbs as soon as you find them.

This product was pre-tested before shipment and date coded. In keeping with t
he National Electrical Code, this product is intended for residential seasonal
installation and use (90 days max. per year). Nicolas Holiday Ltd.’s 2-year
Limited Guarantee covers repair or replacement (same or equivalent) of this
product within two (2) years from the date of purchase.Troubleshooting tips
are on your us e and care guide included in this box. If troubleshooting is
unsuccessful, send your product prepaid along with a legible copy of your
sales receipt to St. Nick’s Fix, 246 Spring Hill Road, Trumbull, CT 06611,
Attention: Customer Service. Providing the original UPC code will help
expedite your request. When mailing the product back to us, please include

This product is guaranteed only if it is used as intended. All accessories that may b e packed with this product, such as clips and stakes, are guaranteed for the first season only. This Limited Guarantee does not cover:
- commercial applications , 2) burned out bulbs/LEDs, 3) misuse or tampering,
- batteries, 5) damage caused by improper consumer handling, or 6) components that may weather, age o r discolor due to a chemical reaction when exposed to UV, oils, heat, acid rain, atmospheric oxygen and some salts.
ANY IMPLIED GUARANTEES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION THE IM PLIED GUARANTEES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, SHALL BE LIMITED TO THE DURATION OF THIS LI MITED GUARANTEE.
