Ciro3D G0078513 Valve Cover Set

Product Information

The GoldstrikeTM valve cover set is a high-quality product designed for motorcycles. It includes one left valve cover and one right valve cover.

Product Usage Instructions

1. Park your motorcycle on a level surface and shut off the engine.
2. If available, lift the motorcycle onto its center stand.
3. ATTENTION: Ensure the engine has had enough time to cool completely before installation.
4. Remove the cover at the front of the cylinder head.
5. Remove the screw from the rear cylinder head cover. Set it aside for re-installation. Refer to FIG.1 for reference.

Installation Instructions

1. Park on a level surface and shut off the motorcycle. the motorcycle onto its center stand if available.
   ATTENTION  Ensure the engine has ?me to cool completely before install on.

2. Remove the cover at the front of the cylinder head. Remove the screw from the rear cylinder head cover. Set aside for re-install on. FIG.1

1. Test fit the Golds trike Valve Covers. I deny the appropriate part for the side of the motorcycle you are working on. The right side cover is about 1/2 inch shorter than the le.

2. The Golds trike Valve Cover has tabs on the ends that fit under the front and rear cylinder head covers from step 2.

3. Clean the surface of the engine valve cover with hot water and soap. FIG.2
   ATTENTION : Thoroughly clean the moong surface with denatured alcohol to remove all wax, oil, and residue.
   NOTE : New motorcycles are delivered from the factory covered in protected oil. Remove it before installing this product. NOTE: Do not install if the temperature is below 50° F. The adhesive will not cure properly.
   

4. Remove the adhesive backing from the 3M Dual Lock. Install the Golds trike Valve Cover. Press firmly into place. FIG.3

5. Reinstall the front cylinder head cover and the screw from the rear cylinder head cover.

6. Repeat steps 2-7 on the other side of the motorcycle.

ATTENTION The 3M Dual Lock adhesive takes 12 hours to completely cure. Do not empty to remove the Golds trike Valve Covers during this me.

NOTE You can run the engine and ride the motorcycle immediately aer install on.

NOTE  If you also have Golds trike P/N 40055 LED Engine Lining Panels, the Light Panels fit on top of the Valve Covers. FIG.4
