Indoor Smart Surge Protector

CAUTION: Do not install this device if there is not at least 10 meters
(30 feet) or more of wire between the electrical outlet and the electrical
service panel. This device features an internal protection At hat will
disconnect the surge protective component but will maintain power to the load
– now unprotected. If this situation is undesirable for the application,
follow the manufacturer’s instructions for replacing the device.

Installation
1. PLUG INTO WALL OUTLET
❑ Insert plug end into a 3-prong receptacle.
WARNING: Do not connect multiple smart surge protector together in a row.
Operation
1. DOWNLOADING HUBSPACE
Download the Hubspace™ app from the App Store or the Google Play Store.
2. CREATING ACCOUNT/SIGNING IN
- Create an account to sign in or login if you already have an account
3. CONNECTING INDOOR SMART SURGE PROTECTOR TO YOUR PHONE
- Connect the smart surge protector to power and follow the instructions on the Hubspace app screen.
NOTE: This Hubspace device requires a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi channel. Hubspace only
shows Wi-Fi networks that the device can use. If you do not see your Wi-Fi
network name when you attempt to connect the device, check your router
settings or move the product closer to your Wi-Fi router.
4. ADDING INDOOR SMART SURGE PROTECTOR TO YOUR PHONE
- Tap ‘+’ button in the upper-right corner of the Hubspace app to add the smart surge protector.
NOTE: Bluetooth access is required for device setup. Enable your phone’s
Bluetooth before adding the device.
5. SCANNING QR CODE
- Scan the OR code on the smart surge protector or in the Quick Start Guide.
NOTE: If the QR code cannot be scanned, you can enter the code manually.
Tap on Enter Code and follow the instructions.
PAIRING WITHOUT QR CODE
- Press and hold the outlet power button for 5 seconds.
- The outlet power indicator will then blink to indicate it is ready to connect.
- The power strip will stay in this mode for 5 minutes or until the device is added to an account by the Hubspace app.
- The power strip can be connected to a different device by repeating step 1. (This will remove the previously connected device).
6. USING THE INDOOR SMART SURGE PROTECTOR
- Turn on the main power switch.
- Press the outlet power button to turn all outlets on or off at the same time.
- For Hubspace app control:
- Tap the name of the smart surge protector on the Hubspace Home Page.
- All outlets can be controlled at the same time or individually.
- Create schedules and set auto-off timers, if desired.
7. SETTING UP YOUR VOICE ASSISTANT
- Connect the smart surge protector to Google Home or Alexa from the Hubspace app.
- Alternatively, sign in to the Alexa app or Google Home and connect to Hubspace devices from there.
LED Indicator Light Operation
The LED indicator light (CC) is on when any outlet is on, and off when all
outlets are off. Note that WiFi state is available via the mobile app.
Power Loss
POWER RETURN OPERATION
If power is lost and returns, the power outlets will resume in the same state
as they were before the power loss (i.e., if it was off, then it will stay
off, and if it was on, it will be on).
