WARNING: Ensure the electricity to the wires you are working on is shut
off. Either remove the fuse or turn off the circuit breaker.
WARNING: Risk of fire or electric shock. Installation of this Fixture
assembly requires a person familiar with the construction and operation of the
light fixture’s/luminaire’s
electrical system and the hazard involved. If not qualified, do not attempt
installation. Contact a qualified electrician.
CAUTION: Risk of electrical shock. Do not open. There are no user
serviceable parts inside. Turn the power off before inspection, installation,
or removal. The lamp is suitable for use in wet locations. Use only on 120
VAC, 60 Hz circuits.
NOTICE: Each light shall be installed only in its intended manner and
orientation. Not all existing recessed cans that meet these requirements will
be compatible with
Commercial Electric recessed LED Trim. To ensure compatibility, a test
installation should be conducted.
The minimum starting temperature is -4 °F.

FIVE-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY
The manufacturer warrants this lighting fixture to be free from defects in
materials and workmanship for a period of five (5) years from date of purchase.
This warranty applies only to the original consumer purchaser and only to
products used in normal use and service. If this product is found to be
defective, the manufacturer’s only obligation, and your exclusive remedy, is
the repair or replacement of the product at the manufacturer’s discretion,
provided that the product has not been damaged through misuse, abuse,
accident, modifications, alterations, neglect, or mishandling.
WHAT IS NOT COVERED
This warranty shall not apply to any product that is found to have been
improperly installed, set-up, or used in any way not in accordance with the
instructions supplied with the product. This warranty shall not apply to a
failure of the product as a result of an accident, misuse, abuse, negligence,
alteration, faulty installation, or any other failure
not relating to faulty material or workmanship. This warranty shall not apply
to the finish on any portion of the product, such as surface and/or weathering,
as this is considered normal wear and tear.
The manufacturer does not warrant and specifically disclaims any warranty,
whether express or implied, of fitness for a particular purpose, other than the
warranty contained herein. The manufacturer specifically disclaims any
liability and shall not be liable for any consequential or incidental loss or
damage, including but not limited to any

Pre-Installation
PLANNING INSTALLATION
Before beginning assembly, installation or operation of product, make sure all
parts are present. Compare parts with the package contents list. If any part
is missing or damaged, do not attempt to assemble, install or operate the
product. Contact customer service for replacement parts.
WARNING: Shut off the power at the circuit breaker or fuse panel before
removing the old fixture.
NOTE: Keep your receipt and these instructions for proof of purchase.

Installation
Preparing the Installation Location
- For remodel: Remove the existing recessed kit (trim, bulb and housing) from the hole.
- For new construction: Use the template (D) provided to mark the desired installation location.
Use a drywall saw to cut the opening marked by the template.
Selecting the Reflector
- The reflector should be at location while operating normal.
- Two reflectors are provided in the kit, one with a white finish (found inside the trim ring) and the other is a silver finish (E).
- To remove the reflector with the white finish: Rotate the trim with your fingertip in a counterclockwise motion.
- To use the silver finish reflector (E), place the reflector inside the trim and rotate it in a clockwise motion to lock in place.

3 Selecting the Color Temperature
- Use the CCT switch on the side panel of junction box to select warm white 2700K, soft white 3000K, neutral white 3500K, bright white 4000K, or daylight 5000K.
4 Connecting the Wires
- Open the junction box (A) cover and remove the knockout on the side panel. If you are using a fiexible metal conduit remove the round knockouts. If you are using non metalic Romex cable, remove the rectangular knockout.
- Insert the electrical supply cable through the knockout. Secure the cable in the knockout with a cable clamp (not provided), if needed.
- Connect the copper ground wire, the black wire and the white wire from the junction box to the same color wires from the supply circuit. Secure wires using wire nuts (B).

5 Connecting the Wires
- Place all wires and connections into the junction box and close the cover.
6 Installing the Recessed Kit
- Flip up and squeeze the spring-loaded clips against the junction box, as shown, holding the spring loading clips tightly and insert the recessed kit (A) into the hole, junction box first.
- When the clips reach the hole edge, release them and push up the recessed kit (A) until both clips flip down onto the ceiling surface.
- Turn on the light.
Care & Cleaning
CAUTION: Before attempting to clean the fixture, disconnect the power to the fixture by turning the breaker off or removing the fuse from the fuse box.
- Clean the fixture with the cloth (C) provided.
- Do not use cleaners with chemicals, solvents, or harsh abrasives.
Troubleshooting
WARNING: Before doing any work on the fixture, disconnect power to the light fixture by turning the breaker off or removing the fuse from the fuse box.
