Safety and Notes
- Product should be installed by certified electrician in accordance with applicable national, state, and local building and electrical codes.
- To reduce the risk of electric shock, ensure that the main power source and circuit breakers are switched off before performing any installation or wiring procedures.
- Avoid looking directly into the lamp when illuminated.
- Designed for direct wire installation only, bypassing existing ballasts where applicable.
- When removing existing ballast reference provided wiring diagram. Apply the provided label, after installation, in any visible location on the fixture.
- Make sure to attach safety cable to secure location during installation.
Specifications
Check product label for specific electrical specifications related to
installation.
Improper installation will void warranty.
Retrofit Installation Instructions
This lamp should be used to replace existing incandescent, HPS/HID, and CFL lamps with an EX39 or E39 base only. If used in accordance with these instructions on a UL or ETL Listed light, the luminaire will retain its original certification.
Caution : When removing ballast, this product must be installed in accordance with the applicable installation code by a qualified electrician familiar with the construction and operation of the product and the hazards involved.
Retrofit Modification Label
Label containing the following caution needs to be placed onto the original fixture and in a location that is visible during maintenance.
Caution Risk of Injury or Damage:
This luminaire has been modified to operate LED lamps. Do not attempt to install or operate incandescent, HPS/HID, or CFL lamps in this luminaire.
Retrofit Wiring Diagram
Optional Motion Sensor
The optional microwave motion sensor (HRB3-MS) can be installed in the lower center area of the bulb by removing the existing threaded cap, then replacing it with the sensor. The settings on the sensor can be changed using optional remote (HBR3-RM). Otherwise, the sensor will operate using default settings.
DEFAULT SETTINGS
Brightness: 100%
Hold Time: 1 minute
Standby Dimming Level: 20%
Standby Time: 1 minute
Sensitivity: 100%
Daylight: Disable
Optional Remote Control
The optional remote control (HBR3-RM) can be used with the optional microwave motion sensor (HRB3-MS) to fine tune settings.
Buttons/Settings
ON/OFF—Press to turn bulb on or off. Hold until upper settings light up to
enable settings adjustment.
BRIGHTNESS—With adjustment enabled, press the BRIGHTNESS button to cycle
through settings (70% / 80% / 90% / 100%) as indicated on remote.
SEND—Saves changes. This must be pressed after any adjustments in order to set
them as the current operating settings.
HOLD TIME—With adjustment enabled, press the HOLD TIME button to cycle through
settings (10 seconds / 1 minute / 10 minutes / 30 minutes) as indicated on
remote.
DAYLIGHT—With adjustment enabled, hold the DAYLIGHT button until the setting
indicator lights up, then press the DAYLIGHT button to cycle through settings
(10 lx / 30 lx / 50 lx / 100 lx) as indicated on remote.
SENSITIVITY— With adjustment enabled, press the SENSITIVITY button to cycle
through settings (20% / 50% / 75% / 100%) as indicated on remote.
STANDBY DIM— With adjustment enabled, press the STANDBY DIM button to cycle
through settings (10% / 20% / 30% / 50%) as indicated on remote.
STANDBY TIME— With adjustment enabled, press the STANDBY TIME button to cycle
through settings (+∞ / 1 minute / 30 minutes / 60 minutes) as indicated on
remote. Note: +∞ means the standby time will be infinite.
RESET—With adjustment enabled, press to reset to default settings. + / –
—Manually adjust brightness.
