IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTES
- Do not cover this product as the covering may cause the flexible light to overheat, melt, and/or ignite.
- Do not operate with the strip tightly coiled.
- Do not puncture, cut, shorten, or splice the flexible lighting other than by the means instructed in this manual and using approved accessories. Any modification that is required should only be done with the power turned off/disconnected and by a certified electrician.
- Do not route the cord or strip through walls, doors, windows, or any like part of a building or structure.
- Do not use if there is any damage to the light or cord insulation. Inspect periodically.
- Do not submerge in liquids or use the product in the vicinity of standing water or other liquids.
- Secure this flexible light using only the optional clips or adhesive foam shown on the site. Do no secure this product or its cord with staples, nails, or like means that may damage the insulation or permanently attach to the building structure.
- Do not subject flexible lighting to continuous flexing.
- This product has a polarized 1-15P plug as a feature to reduce the risk of electric shock. This plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. Do not use with an extension cord unless it is polarity specific and the plug can be fully inserted. Do not alter or replace the plug.
WARNING: When using outdoor, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and personal injury. Ground fault circuit interrupter (GFCI) protection must be used on the circuits or outlet when the strips are intended to be used outdoors. Receptacles with built-in GFCI protection are the easiest way to facilitate this kind of connection.
Fuse Replacement
The 1-15P power cord (also sold as STAC-1-15P-50) has a built in fuse. There
is also a spare stored in the fuse compartment. If replacement is necessary
beyond that, use similar 8 A 125 V fuse only.
Do not attempt to access or replace fuse unless cord is unplugged.

Grasp plug and remove from receptacle or other outlet device. Do not unplug by pulling on cord.

Slide open fuse cover on plug.

Remove fuse carefully and replace with spare located in plug or other compatible fuse.
WARNING: Risk of fire. Replace fuse with 8 amp, 125 volt fuse only. -
Slide the fuse cover closed.
WARNING: Risk of fire. Do not replace attachment plug. It contains a safety device (fuse) that should not be removed. Do not use product if the attachment plug is amaged in any way.
Mounting
Secure this flexible light using only the optional clips (STAC-CLIP) or adhesive foam shown on the site.
- Mount clips at even increments where the strip is to be mounted.
- With power switched off or disconnected, align strip with clips and snap fold-over clamp part of the clip into place to secure the strip.

Connection Types
WARNING: If a connection other than the original is needed follow the below steps. Strips should not be modified by anyone other than a fully certified electrician. Strip should be unplugged or have supply power removed before any modification or installation procedures are performed. DO NOT CUT OR INSTALL STRIP WHILE POWERED.
Standard 1-15P Plug (STAC-1-15P-50)
- Measure desired length. Cut strip on designated cut line being careful to avoid any damage to square terminal.
- For pin connections, push two pins into square terminal.
- For blade connections, push blade connector into terminal slot.
- Apply silicone glue for a water resistant seal.
- Plug 1-15P connector into an appropriate outlet.
A GFCI outlet is recommended.
Optional Hardwire Connection (STAC-PT50)

Remove the attached cord if necessary.
Note: The original cord will be sealed to the strip, so it will need the sealant to be cut/loosened. -
Clean any remaining sealant from the strip.

Use accessory sealant (STAC-PVC1OZ) to seal the hardwire connector and slide it onto the strip.

Make electrical connections using weatherproof connectors.
