HOW TO USE
- Scrape off the black protective coating to expose shiny metal before first use.
- Gather something (such as dry grass, pine needles, magnesium) and some tinder (such as small branches, pine cones, bark).
- Hold the flint rod close to the tinder at about a 45-degree angle. Place the scraper near the top of the rod.
- Use the scraper against the Flint Rod at about a 45-degree angle to create a spark (Press hard and slow).
