iCrimp ICP-BJ02 Pex Clamp Cinch Tool Instruction Manual

GENERAL INFORMATION

FEATURES

• One master cinch tool installs all sizes from 3/8″ to 1″ of Cinch Clamps.
• One handed clamp tool ideal for corner operation.
• Ratchet design releases only when the cinch clamp tab is properly pinched, thus ensuring a leak-proof connection.
• Meets ASTM F-2098 specifications.
• Compresses Stainless Steel Clamp Rings to secure PEX or PE-RT tubing to brass or poly crimp fittings.

NOTE: Do not use with Zurn Quickclamp PEX crimp PEX crimp rings.

OPERATION

CALIBRATION PROCEDURE

• CLOSE HANDLE TO STOP POINT.
• INSERT GAGE INTO JAW GAP.
• GAGE MUST STOP AT NO-GO. IF GAUGE GOES BEYOND THIS POINT, RE-CALIBRATE TOOL.
• CHOOSE BETWEEN MODE 1 & MODE 2 TO RE-CALIBRATE THETENSION OF CLAMP TOOL
• LOOSEN ADJUSTMENT NUT.
• PLACE GO PORTION OF GAGE INTO JAW GAP.
• ROTATE ECCENTRIC STUD COUNTER-CLOCKWISE UNTIL JAWS CONTACT GAGE.
• TIGHTEN NUT.
• CHECK TOOL WITH GAGE THE FIRST AND LAST CRIMP ON EACH JOB SITE.
