Thank you for purchasing a XBLITZ RF200 car radio. This device is a 1-DIN car radio, meant for installation and set-up inside vehicle. The device can receive FM radio stations, as well as open files(e.g.  MP3/WMA/JPEG/ GIF/MP4/AVI). It has built-in USB port and microSD card slot.

You can also use XBLITZ RF200 as a speakerphone in your car. Additionally, it has an external microphone microphone. Before first use please read the the following user’s manual and preserve it for future use. After unboxing, please check the device for potential damage.

MAIN FEATURES

WARNING

  1. Any manipulation of the set that could distract the driver should be done only when the car is safely parked.
  2. Due to a voltage spike cause by the engine being turned on, the radio set should be turned on after starting the car and turned o before the engine is turned o.
  3. When using a USB drive, please avoid any motions that could damage it. When you finish playing the tracks from the USB drive, please plug it out.
  4. When using a USB drive or SD card, please check them for any impurities that could get into the USB port or SD card slot.

**FUNCTIONS AND USAGE

To turn the radio on, press the PWR button on the radio or 1 on the remote control.

VOLUME

  1.  When the audio mode with default volume control is turned on, turn the knob   right to turn the volume up or left to turn it down.
  2. When the audio mode is not in the default volume control setting, press the knob, until the display says . . Then set the volume by turning the  knob. This way you can set the volume to your needs.

BASS SETTINGS

  1. Keep pressing the knob until the screen says . Turn the knob left or right to set the value.

TREBLE SETTINGS

  1. Keep pressing the knob until the screen says . Turn the knob left or right to set the value.

BALANCE CONTROL FOR LEFT AND RIGHT SPEAKERS

  1. Keep pressing the knob until the screen says . Turn the knob left or right to set the value.

FADER BALANCE CONTROL FOR FRONT AND REAR SPEAKERS

  1. Keep pressing the knob until the screen says   . Turn the knob left or right to set the value

MANUAL AND AUTOMATIC TUNING, FAST FORWARD AND REWIND

  1. When listening to the radio, press the >>| or |<< button , to change the received radio frequency to a higher/lower one. Holding the buttons mentioned above will make the device automatically set the frequency to a strong signal broadcasted by a radio station.
  2. When playing music from a USB drive or an SD card, pressing >>| or |<< will switch the track played to the next or previous one.

BAND button

Hold the BAND button for 1 second to make the device scan the radio band. If it scans the FM band, it will automatically scan through the FM4 band after it finishes scanning the FM1 band. After the scan is finished, the radio will save any found radio stations.

BAND SWITCHING

  1. Press the BAND to choose the band, the bands will be displayed in order (->FM1->FM2->FM3->FM4->).

EQ CONTROL BUTTON

  1. Digital sound contro (EQ o/ CLASSIC/ POP/ ROCK). Keep pressing the knob until the screen says . Turn the knob left or right to change the settings.

MONO/ STEREO SWITCH BUTTON

  1. Keep pressing the knob until the screen says  . to choose between monophonic and stereo settings for the best quality of sound. Turn the knob left or right to change the settings.

MUTE BUTTON

  1. Press the MUTE button to mute the sound. Pressing the button again will unmute the sound. Staying inactive for 5 seconds in any mode will make the device return to the previous menu.

MP3 MODE

  1. (1/ >|) button
    Press to pause the tracks playing from the USB drive or memory card. A || sign on the screen means that the music is paused. Pressing the button again will resume playing the track

  2. 2/INT button
    Shortly press the button to start browsing the files and playing first 10 seconds of each of them, in the order listed.

  3. 3/RPT button
    Pressing the button switches between looping one track and looping the entire playlist.

  4. 4/RDM button
    Pressing the button will play a random track. 5.5/-10 i 6/+10 buttons Pressing the buttons will play the first/last 10 tracks from the playlist.

  5. Mode switching button (MODE)
    Pressing the button will switch between radio, AUX i MP3 modes.

MMC/ SD SLOT, USB PORT AND THEIR USAGE

  1. To play MP3 files, place a USB drive/SD card with tracks on it into the USB port/SD slot. The device should start playing the files automatically. Appropriate information will be displayed on the screen as well. If the SD card and USB drive are connected to the device at the same time, the radio will play music from  thelast drive connected

  1. Press the BAND/ APS button (when both an SD card and a USB drive are connected to the device) to switch between SD card and USB drive.

REMOTE CONTROL FEATURES

  1. Press the POWER button to turn the paired device on/o.
  2. When the paired device is turned on:
    • Press the +/- buttons to change volume,
    • press |<< or >>| to choose the previous/next track,
    • press the MUTE button to mute the paired device. Pressing the button again will unmute the device,
    • press the EQ button to use the digital sound equalizer.

FAQ

No power

  • the car’s engine is turned o,
  • if the power supply for accessories is installed in the car, you can turn the car key to ACC to provide power to the accessories,
  • if the power circuit is burnt, change it,
  • if the temperature in the car is too high, lower it and try again.

No sound

  • if the sound it set to minimum, set it to a proper value,
  • improper wiring, improper file format or damaged files on the drive can cause the lack of sound. 3.No radio reception
  • if the antenna is not connected properly or the reception is weak, make sure that the antenna is properly mounted in place,
  • if you cannot find any radio stations during an automatic scan, the broadcasting signal can be too weak for the device to pick it up. Try tuning it manually.

Wiring diagram

  • make sure that the casing is properly grounded. Proper grounding eliminates most issues with electronic noise. Good grounding of the casing require connecting it to the car’s chassis. The area around the connection should be thoroughly cleaned
  • with no rust, paint, plastic or dust – for best grounding quality.

A 1A circuit breaker is installed in the red wire connector (power supply); 12V/ 15A and 24V/ 15A circuit breakers are installed in the yellow wire connector (battery). It is important to make sure the values of new circuit breakers are correct when replacing the old ones.
