Xblitz PARK VIEW ULTRA Full Rear View Mirror Dashcam with Backup Camera
BEFORE FIRST USE
- It is recommended to use brand microSD memory cards class 10th (8 – 256GB capacity).
- Before inserting the card into the car camera it is recommended to format it to the FAT32 file format in the PC, and than in the recorder.
- Memory card should be installed when the device is turned o , otherwise the memory card and the device may be damaged. The same refers to putting the memory card out of the device.
- A fully charged battery lets the camera record video with no power supply for maximally 5 minutes. The battery’s primary purpose is ensuring that the device’s settings won’t be reset due to lack of power.
- When the memory card is full, the oldest, unprotected files will be overwritten.
- It is recommended to use the product’s features with their intended use, e.g. Motion detection or parking mode during driving should be turned o , as it may cause automatic turning on / o the recording.
- Sound: the device has a capacitive microphone, which records all the sounds from the surrounding. The sounds may overlap causing distortions.

CAMERA INSTALLATION
- Insert the memory card into the recorder.
- Put the camera onto the rear mirror.
- Mount the camera using the included rubbers.
- Run the powering wire and the rear camera wire.
- Connect the powering wire and the rear camera wire.
- Connect the power adapter into the car cigarette lighter socket.
The place of additional camera installation, added to the set depends on your
predispositions. The camera meets the IP67 standards (resistant to weather
conditions).
Additional camera installation: Black wire connect to the micro USB slot
in the main device, run it to the place chosen for the rear camera
installation and connect it. Make sure that the main device is able to read
the rear camera (if no, make sure that the wire is correctly putted into both
slots).
Rear camera installation: rear camera wires need to be connected to the
rear light wires (red = plus). This way of connection will enable the rear
camera to work as reversing camera. External installation should be properly
isolated and should not be mechanically taut.

GETTING STARTED

Mount and connect the camera into the power adapter.

Insert (already formatted into the FAT32 file format) microSD memory card. NOTE: the memory card should be putted in /out only when the device is o .

Set in the menu:
a. Date & time
b. Loop recording (adjust the length of the recordings). If you turn loop recording , the files will not be overwritten.
c. Set the highest available resolution.
d. Turn G-sensor on. -
Make sure that the motion detection and parking mode are turned off.
If those features stay on during driving, they will negatively affect the recordings. Those features should be turned on when the car is parked. -
Camera will automatically start to record every time we turn the ignition on (unless there is no constant power supply in the car cigarette lighter socket of your vehicle).
KEYS DESCRIPTION
MENU
A. VIDEO MODE

Video resolution
Set the resolution of recordings. The higher the resolution, the better the video quality, however such files take more space on the memory card. -
Length of the video
Set the length of the video recordings. -
Automatic turn off
Set the time after which the camera should stop recording. -
Sound recording
Turning on / o the sound on the recordings. This may be set outside the menu by using the “down” button. -
Exposure
Set the video exposure.
B. PHOTO MODE

White balance
Set the white balance of the pictures. -
Color
Set the color of the pictures (normal/intense/faded). -
Effect
Set the effect of the pictures (normal / sepia / black & white / negative).
C. PLAYBACK MODE
-
Volume
Set the volume of the displayed video. -
Delete
Deletes the selected file. -
Protect
Protects the selected file from being overwritten.
D. MAIN MENU
-
Format
Format of the microSD memory card in the device. NOTE: When formatting, the whole data and files will be deleted. -
Keys sound
Turning on / o the sound of the keys. -
Automatic shutdown
Set if and after what time of inactivity the device should turn itself o . -
Date / time
Set the date and time in the device. -
Language
Set the camera language. -
TV system
Choose between PAL and NTSC7. -
Frequency
Set the frequency (50Hz / 60Hz). -
Screen saver
Set if and after what time the screen saver function should be turned on. -
G-sensor
Turning on / o the parking mode. When the sensor is turned on in the moment of collision the file will be automatically protected from being overwritten. -
Parking mode
When the parking mode is turned on, camera left in the car and connected to the power supply detects a car shake (e.g. During the coliision at the parking lot) the camera will turn itself on and start to record. This mode may be quickly turned on / o in video mode by pressing & holding the Down button (unless the camera is recording at the moment). -
Motion detection
When this option is turned on and left in the standby mode connected to the power supply, camera after detecting a motion will record a short 8-seconds movie. -
Default settings
Restores the default settings of the camera. -

SAFETY MEASURES:
- Do not disassembly or interfere with the camera. If the device is faulty, contact the service point.
- Only use the original accessories.
- Use only the original charger, included in the set. Using a different power supply can a ect the battery negatively.
- Do not use the device for purposes that are against the law of the country or region you are in.
- The operating temperature of the device is 0 – 35°C. Storage temperature is 5°C to 45°C. Operating air humidity is 5-90% without condensation.
- Avoid damaging the device with physical force.
- Clean the device, especially the lens. Do not use detergents or other chemicals when cleaning the device.
- Clean the device only when it’s disconnected from the power supply.
- Keep the device away from children.
- Do not expose the device to very high temperatures and fire.
FAQ

The device does not turn on / off automatically.
This action may be caused by the constant power supply in the car cigarette lighter socket. -
The device restarts itself during driving.
It is recommended to check the power supply source. -
The device does not record in the loop.
Check the motion detection function – it should be turned o during driving. -
The device shows “memory card full” alert.
Check the g-sensor and parking mode functions and set them on the possible minimum level. The memory card should be formatted into the FAT32 file system first in the PC, and then in the recorder. -
The device records noise and overlapped sound:
The device has a very sensitive microphone, which records all the surrounding sounds. The recorded sounds may overlap and cause distortions. Also the air flow from the front mirror may distort the sound.

Playback of the files on the PC: the camera does not possess a mass memory
function. To playback the files on the PC you should remove the memory card
from the camera and place it in the PC throughout the memory card reader.
- Only use chargers with a charging current up to 2A. (Do not connect directly to the 220 / 230V socket.) Failure to follow the instructions may cause camera damage or, in extreme cases, light up the device.
