READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USE
· Read this user manual carefully before using the unit and retain
it for future reference. Pass it on to any future owners of the unit.
· This unit may be used by children aged 8 years and above, persons
with reduced physical, sensory or mental capacities, and persons
with no experience of using or knowledge of the unit, provided they
are supervised or receive prior instruction regarding how to safely
use the unit and understand the risks involved. Children must
be supervised to ensure they don’t play with the unit. Cleaning
and maintenance operations must not be performed by children,
unless they are over 8 years old and under adult supervision.
· Please consult the instructions for use for details regarding
filling, cleaning and descaling.

Warning! Keep the appliance and its power cable out of
the reach of children under 8 years of age when it is
powered on or when it is in the process of cooling. To
avoid the risk of burns, never leave a hot iron unattended when
young children are nearby.
· When using the appliance, attention should be paid to the
emission of steam.
· Unplug the appliance to fill and clean it.

The unit’s soleplate and surfaces indicated with this
symbol can reach very high temperatures when the unit
is in use and remain hot for some time after the unit has
been turned off. Wait for the iron to cool completely before
touching any of its surfaces. Please be extra vigilant when the
unit is used by or near children.

Risk of burns! The steam emitted by the iron and soleplate
can be very hot during use. Only ever hold the iron by its
handle and no other part.

Risk of burns! Do not under any circumstances attempt
to steam clean any clothing that you are actually wearing
at the time. Never direct the steam at a person or animal.

Risk of electrocution! Do not use the unit near a water
source or in a very humid location (e.g. a damp cellar or
near a sink, bathtub, swimming pool, etc.). UNDER NO
CIRCUMSTANCES should you touch the unit or plug with wet
hands.
·
Risk of electrocution! This unit has no user-serviceable
parts. Under no circumstances should you try to
disassemble or repair the unit yourself. The warranty
does not cover claims for damage resulting from handling
errors. In the event of a malfunction, immediately unplug the
unit and take it to an authorised service centre for repair.
·
Warning! Do not immerse the unit, cable or plug in water
or any other liquid, as they contain electrical components.
Never run them under the tap. Electrical components
must not be exposed to moisture.
· Do not add chemical additives, fragranced substances or
descaling products to the water: these could cause the unit to
leak or become damaged.
· The unit has been exclusively designed for household ironing
purposes. It is not intended for commercial, industrial or outdoor
use. This unit has been designed exclusively for indoor use.
· Do not use this unit for any purpose other than that described
in the usage manual and this booklet. Any other use is to be
considered inappropriate and therefore dangerous. Should the
instructions for use be ignored, this may result in a fire, injury
or electric shock, i.e. situations not covered by the warranty. We
assume no responsibility for damage or injury resulting from
improper use, incorrect operation, or unauthorised product
modification.
· Place the unit on a flat, stable, horizontal, clean and heat-
resistant surface.
· When the iron is returned to its iron rest, make sure that the
iron rest’s supporting surface is stable.

· Before connecting the unit to the mains socket, ensure the
voltage indicated on the unit’s rating plate corresponds to that
of the socket.
· Never open the water tank lid when the unit is in use.
· Always unplug the unit before filling or emptying the water tank.
· The appliance should not be left unattended when connected
to the power supply. Unplug the unit when you have finished
using it.
· Always unplug the unit by pulling the plug. Do not pull on the
power cable. The plug must remain easily accessible at all
times so that the unit can be disconnected immediately in the
event of an emergency.
· For additional protection, we recommend using a differential
circuit breaker (RCD) – with a tripping current that does not
exceed 30 mA – in the electrical circuit supplying power to your
unit.
· Should the use of an extension cord be absolutely necessary,
use a 10 amp extension cord. An extension cord with insufficient
amperage could overheat.
· Unplug the unit after each use. Always switch off the unit before
unplugging it. Do not leave the unit plugged in when you have
finished using it.
· The only way to fully disconnect the unit from its power source
is to unplug it.
· Do not connect this unit to an external timer or remote control
system.
· Do not iron zips, rivets, buttons or similar items on clothing to
avoid scratching the soleplate.
· The filling, or decalcifying, or rinsing, or inspection apertures
that are under pressure, shall not be opened during use (for
steam irons with pressurized compartments only).
·
Warning! It is of the utmost importance that the iron be
rested vertically on the ironing board or a stable, heat-
resistant surface when heating up or after use. The unit
must be kept away from flammable gases and liquids, in addition
to any flammable material in general.

Warning! Never use a damaged unit. If the unit is
damaged, unplug it and contact the store of purchase.
· Make sure that the unit is not exposed to heat, cold, dust, any
form of humidity (drops, splashes, etc.) or direct sunlight.
· Regularly inspect the cable and plug for signs of wear or
damage. If the cable is damaged, it must be replaced with the
same original part, and this replacement must be carried out
by the after-sales service or an approved technician, for safety
reasons.
· Do not insert any foreign objects into the water tank or the
soleplate’s steam outlet holes.
· Do not wind the power cable around the unit. Wind the power
cable (loosely) and stow it near to the unit.
· The power cable and steam hose must not be bent, crushed or
rubbed against sharp edges, as this could damage them. Make
sure to keep it away from any hot surfaces or open flames.
·
Warning! Do not let the power cable hang over the top
of a table or kitchen counter, as this may cause someone
to trip over it or a child to accidentally pull on it.
· This unit must only be used with the supplied parts and
accessories. The use of parts and accessories other than those
supplied with this unit, may lead to the risk of a fire, injury or
other damage, and these will not be covered by the warranty.
· The appliance should not be used if it has been dropped, has
visible signs of damage, or has a leak.
Specific instructions for irons with a steam station · It is of the utmost
importance to fully unwind the steam hose
and power cable before connecting the steam station. The cable and the hose
must not be subjected to tension under any circumstances. · In order to ensure
that the steam flows uninterruptedly between the steam station and the iron,
make sure that the hose never gets twisted. · After each use, always store the
steam hose in the storage space provided specifically for this purpose, inside
the steam station.

avec l’appareil. Le nettoyage et l’entretien ne doivent pas être
effectués par des enfants sauf s’ils sont surveillés par un adulte

Attention ! Maintenir l’appareil et son câble d’alimentation
hors de portée des enfants de moins de 8 ans lorsqu’il
est sous tension ou lorsqu’il est en train de refroidir. Afin
d’éviter tout risque de brûlure, ne laissez en aucun cas un fer
chaud sans surveillance alors que des enfants en bas âge se
trouvent à proximité.
· Lors de l’utilisation de l’appareil, il convient d’être attentif à
l’émission de vapeur.
· Débrancher l’appareil lors du remplissage et du nettoyage.

La semelle et les surfaces de l’appareil marquées de ce
signe sont portées à très haute température quand
l’appareil est en marche, et restent très chaudes pendant
un certain temps une fois l’appareil éteint. Attendez que le fer
ait complètement refroidi avant de toucher les surfaces en

question. Une surveillance accrue est nécessaire lorsque
l’appareil est utilisé par ou à proximité d’enfants.

Risque de brûlures ! La vapeur émise par le fer et la
semelle peut être portée à très haute température en
cours d’usage. Tenez toujours le fer par sa poignée, et
par aucune autre partie.
·
Risque de brûlures ! N’essayez en aucun cas de repasser
à la vapeur un vêtement que vous portez sur vous. Ne
dirigez en aucun cas la vapeur vers une personne ou un
animal.
·
Risque d’électrocution ! N’utilisez pas appareil à
proximité de l’eau ou d’une source d’humidité importante
(ex : dans une cave humide ou à proximité d’un évier,
d’une baignoire, d’une piscine etc.). Ne touchez EN AUCUN
CAS l’appareil ou la prise avec les mains mouillées.

Risque d’électrocution ! Cet appareil ne contient aucune
pièce pouvant être réparée par l’utilisateur. N’essayez
en aucun cas de démonter ou réparer l’appareil vous-
même. La garantie ne couvre pas les réclamations pour les
dommages résultant d’une erreur de manipulation. En cas de
dysfonctionnement, débranchez immédiatement l’appareil et
apportez-le à un centre de réparation agréé pour le faire réparer.

La prise mâle doit rester facilement accessible en permanence afin qu’il soit possible de débrancher immédiatement l’appareil en cas d’urgence. · Pour une protection supplémentaire, nous vous recommandons l’utilisation d’un disjoncteur différentiel (RCD) dont le courant de fuite n’excède pas 30 mA dans le circuit électrique alimentant votre appareil. · S’il est absolument nécessaire d’utiliser une rallonge, utilisez une rallonge de 10 ampères. Une rallonge dont l’ampérage est insuffisant risquerait de surchauffer. · Débranchez l’appareil après chaque utilisation. Éteignez toujours l’appareil avant de le débrancher. Ne laissez pas l’appareil branché quand vous avez fini de l’utiliser.

· Le fait de débrancher l’appareil constitue le seul moyen de le
déconnecter complètement de sa source d’alimentation.
· Ne connectez pas cet appareil à une minuterie externe ou à un
système de commande à distance.
· Ne repassez pas les fermetures éclair, rivets, boutons ou articles
similaires sur les vêtements afin de préserver la semelle des
rayures.
· N’ouvrez pas les orifices sous pression pour les remplir, les
détartrer, les rincer ou les inspecter lorsque le fer est en cours
d’utilisation (pour les fers à vapeur avec compartiments sous
pression uniquement).

Attention ! Quand il chauffe et quand il est posé après
usage, le fer doit impérativement reposer à la verticale
sur la planche à repasser ou sur une surface stable et
thermorésistante. L’appareil doit rester à distance des gaz et
liquides inflammables, et de tout matériau inflammable en
général.
·
Attention ! N’utilisez jamais un appareil endommagé.
Si l’appareil venait à être endommagé, débranchez-le et
prenez contact avec le magasin d’achat.
· Veillez à ce que l’appareil ne soit pas exposé à la chaleur,
au froid, à la poussière, à l’humidité sous toutes ses formes
(gouttes, éclaboussures etc.) et à la lumière directe du soleil.
· Examinez régulièrement le câble et la prise mâle afin de
repérer les éventuels signes d’usure et d’endommagement.
Si le câble est endommagé, il doit être remplacé par la même
pièce d’origine et le remplacement doit être réalisé par le service
après-vente ou par un technicien agréé, pour des raisons de
sécurité.
· N’insérez aucun objet étranger dans le réservoir d’eau ou les
trous de sortie de vapeur de la semelle.
· N’enroulez pas le câble d’alimentation autour de l’appareil.
Enroulez le câble d’alimentation (sans serrer) à proximité de
l’appareil.
· Le câble d’alimentation et le tuyau de vapeur ne doivent pas
être pliés, écrasés ou frottés contre des arêtes coupantes, cela

risquerait de les endommager. Veillez à ce qu’il reste à distance
de toutes les surfaces chaudes et flammes nues.
·
Attention ! Ne laissez pas le câble d’alimentation pendre
du haut d’une table ou d’un plan de cuisine, car quelqu’un
risquerait de trébucher dessus ou un enfant risquerait
de tirer dessus accidentellement.
· Cet appareil ne doit pas être utilisé avec d’autres pièces
et accessoires que ceux fournis. L’utilisation de pièces et
d’accessoires autres que ceux fournis avec cet appareil peut
être à l’origine d’incendies, de blessures ou d’autres dommages,
qui ne seraient pas couverts par la garantie.
· L’appareil ne doit pas être utilisé s’il est tombé, s’il présente
des signes visibles de dommage ou s’il présente une fuite.

brancher la centrale à vapeur, il est impératif de dérouler
complètement le tuyau de vapeur et le câble d’alimentation. Le câble et le
tuyau ne doivent en aucun cas être soumis à une tension. · Afin d’assurer un
flux de vapeur ininterrompu entre la centrale à vapeur et le fer, veillez à ce
que le tuyau ne soit jamais tordu. · Après chaque utilisation, rangez toujours
le tuyau de vapeur dans l’emplacement de rangement prévu à cet effet dans la
centrale à vapeur.

· Lees deze gebruiksaanwijzing aandachtig door voordat u het
apparaat gebruikt en bewaar het voor latere raadpleging. Als
u dit apparaat aan iemand anders geeft, doe dan tevens deze
gebruiksaanwijzing erbij.
· Dit apparaat kan worden gebruikt door kinderen vanaf 8 jaar en
ouder of personen met beperkte fysische, visuele of mentale
mogelijkheden, of die een gebrek hebben aan ervaring en kennis,
als ze onder toezicht staan of instructies hebben gekregen
over het veilig gebruik van het apparaat en de gevaren die het
gebruik van het apparaat met zich meebrengen begrijpen. Houd
toezicht over kinderen om ervoor te zorgen dat ze niet met het
apparaat spelen. Kinderen mogen het apparaat niet reinigen

uitschakeling van het apparaat nog enige tijd warm. Wacht
totdat het strijkijzer volledig is afgekoeld alvorens de
oppervlakken in kwestie aan te raken. Houd voldoende toezicht
als het apparaat in de nabijheid van of door kinderen wordt
gebruikt.

Gevaar op brandwonden! De stoom die door het strijkijzer
en de strijkzool wordt vrijgegeven kan tijdens gebruik
een zeer hoge temperatuur bereiken. Houd het strijkijzer
altijd bij de handgreep vast en niet bij een ander onderdeel.
·
Gevaar op brandwonden! Gebruik het strijkijzer niet om
een kledingstuk dat u draagt te stoomstrijken. Richt de
stoom niet naar een persoon of dier.
·
Risico op elektrische schokken! Gebruik het apparaat
niet in de buurt van een waterbron of in een ruimte met
een hoge vochtigheidsgraad (zoals een vochtige kelder,
nabij een zwembad, gootsteen, badkuip, etc.). Raak het apparaat
of de stekker NOOIT aan met natte handen.
·
Risico op elektrische schokken! Dit apparaat bevat geen
enkel onderdeel dat door de gebruiker kan worden
gerepareerd. Haal het apparaat niet uit elkaar en repareer
het nooit zelf. De garantie dekt geen vorderingen voor schade
als gevolg van verkeerd gebruik. In geval van storing, haal de
stekker onmiddellijk uit het stopcontact en breng het naar een
erkend reparatiecentrum om het te laten repareren.

Opgelet! Dompel het apparaat, het snoer of de stekker

de kraan. Stel de elektrische componenten niet bloot aan vocht.
· Voeg geen chemische additieven, geparfumeerde stoffen
of ontkalkingsmiddel aan het water toe, dit kan een lek of
beschadiging van het apparaat veroorzaken.
· Het apparaat is alleen ontworpen voor het strijken in een
huishoudelijke omgeving. Het is niet geschikt voor commercieel,
