Installation & maintenance instructions.

General Safety Information

  • WARNING – TO REDUCE THE RISK OF FIRE, ELECTRIC SHOCK OR INJURY TO PERSONS, OBSERVE THE FOLLOWING:
  • Failure to disconnect the power source before installation can result in serious injury or death from electric shock. Always disconnect the power source before servicing or installing the hand dryer.
  • Fixed wiring is recommended for all installations. Wiring should emerge from the wall in the position marked on the mounting diagram. All fi xed wiring should incorporate a switch or breaker with a contract separation of at least 3mm in all poles.
  • SPL (2021) Ltd accepts no responsibility for any damage or injury to property or persons caused by improper, incorrect or unreasonable use or installation.
  • Failure to properly ground this unit could result in severe electrical shock and/or death. This hand dryer must be properly grounded (Earthed) for safe operation. An identifi ed ground connection point is supplied on the chassis of the hand dryer. We recommend GFCI protection in wet or damp locations or as required by local code.
  • Risk of fi re, personal injury or property damage are possible if local codes, or safety recommendations are not followed. Installation must be carried out by a qualifi ed person in accordance with all local wiring regulations.
  • If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualifi ed persons in order to avoid a hazard.
  • The instructions contained within the Mounting Template must be followed carefully when installing this unit. Failure to accurately follow the instructions may result in the incorrect operation of this unit, damage to property and/or personal injury.
  • This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
  • Do not insert objects into the air outlet, doing so can be hazardous and could result in electric shock.
  • Do not obstruct the air inlets or outlets in any way.
  • Do service your hand dryer at regular intervals.

Description:

The Supreme JET DRY EXECUTIVE II hand dryer, featuring the latest in electronic brushless technology, with a 2 speed high powered motor for energy efficiency. Triple antibacterial HEPA filter prevents the spread of bacteria and viruses. Certified as a food-safe hand dryer suitable for use in facilities that operate in accordance with a HACCP based Food Safety Programme. These models are suitable for use in commercial, office and other serviced bathroom environments.

Planning

We suggest that one hand dryer be installed for every two hand basins.
Installation Instructions

  1. Use the mounting template provided to mark the locations for the four wall mounting anchors to attach the wall mounting bracket to the wall.
  2. Before drilling holes for mounting, check for any hidden utility service. Mounting should be via suitable fasteners for the substance, nogging is preferred. The electrical supply should be supplied with a switch or breaker with a contact seperation of at least 3mm in all poles.
  3. To use the hollow wall anchors included with the wall mounting kit, pre-drill the wall in the marked locations using a 5/16” (8mm) drill, insert the plastic anchors and tap flush to the wall.
  4. Complete the attachment of the wall mounting bracket to the wall with the (4) mounting anchors.
  5. Hang the hand dryer on the bracket. Remove water collection tray from bottom of dryer, and complete the attachment of the dryer with the 4th anchor.
  6. Connect power supply wiring to terminal block and secure Power Supply Cover
  7. Replace the water collection tray.
  8. Turn unit on and test operation.

Installation Instructions

Maintenance and Cleaning Instructions

  1. Daily Cleaning

  2. Switch the machine off at the wall or use the switch above the water collection tray
    NOTE: If using the machine’s ON/OFF switch it is the larger one of the two.

  3. Empty the water collection tray. To unlock the water tray slide the lock tab across. Remove the water tray and rinse with warm water.

  4. Wipe down the machine using a warm damp cloth and a surface cleaner.
    NOTE: Cleaning should be performed using a soft cloth and non abrasive and non caustic cleaning fluid to prevent malfunctions or damage to the unit. Do not spray water directly into the machine.

  5. Replace the water tray and lock back into place.

  6. Turn the power switch back on.

Weekly Cleaning

  1. Switch the machine off at the wall or use the switch above the water collection tray.
  2. Pour a cup of warm water down the drain within the drying chamber.
  3. Gently clean the drain using cleaning brush provided.
  4. Remove the water tray and empty its contents. Remove the lid from water tray and rinse water tray with warm water. Pay particular attention to removing soap scum from the two terminals.
  5. Remove lint pre-filter holder located below water tray. Gently snap open the holder and brush away any lint on the filter. Then put the filter back together before placing both the lint pre-filter and water tray back into the machine.
  6. Turn power back on.

HEPA and Lint Pre-Filter Replacement (6 monthly) Failure to replace filters on time may interupt air flow and overheat the motor, in this case the warranty will be invalidated.

  1. Switch the machine off at the wall or use the switch above the water collection tray. Slide the lock tab across and remove the water tray.

  2. Remove the lint pre-filter by pulling it out towards you.

  3. Replace the lint pre-filter by gently snapping open the holder. Take out the old lint pre-filter and replace. Then gently snap the lint pre-filter holder back together.

  4. Remove HEPA from machine by pulling black holder downwards.

  5. Remove HEPA filter and fragrance pod from holder and replace.
    NOTE: Do not discard the holder.

  6. Replace HEPA holder back into the machine. LED 3 will stay on for 5 seconds and then blink 3 times to indicate machine counter has reset.
    NOTE: Holder is marked “front”. This should face you when fitting the holder.

  7. Replace the water tray and lock back into place.

LED 1/2:
Starting operation: (Mode 1) LED-1 a blue “smiley” icon appears 3 times. Afterwards the LED lights rotate clockwise for 9
seconds (one drying cycle), thereafter all 30 LEDs blink 3 times. The LEDs rotate again and flash after 9 seconds. Afterwards the machine shuts off automatically. (Mode 2) Same as above, but the LEDs rotate clockwise for 10 seconds. In case of an electrical or motor problem all 30 LEDs will blink for 30 seconds.

LED 3:
Filter change sign. The filter sign will turn on after 25.000 uses. After replacing the filter the filter sign will stay for 5 seconds, and then blink 3 times (the filter usage is reset).

LED 4:
Shows that the water tank is full. When full the water tank will blink red until the water is emptied and the tray is put back into the unit.

Troubleshooting

Supreme Comprehensive Warranty

Your Supreme hand dryer is fully guaranteed against defective materials and faulty workmanship commencing from the date of sale (according to SPL’s records), subject to it being installed and maintained in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
SPL (2021) Limited warrants that should any part of the dryer fail within the given warranty period (2- 5 years product dependant), it will be remedied by SPL.
The dryer should be returned to SPL (2021) Limited for all warranty claims.
The cost of cartage will be payable by the customer.

This warranty excludes:

  • Incorrect installation, or installation that does not specifi cally follow the installation guidelines supplied

  • Failure to follow manufacturer’s maintenance instructions

  • Damage/Failure resulting from:

    • the use of non-authorised parts
    • authorised parts not installed in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions
    • accidental damage, negligent use, misuse, vandalism, neglect
    • damage caused either directly or indirectly by external sources (power outages, power surges, incorrect power supply, natural disaster, or insect infestation)
  • Water ingress caused by property maintenance or fl ooding

  • Negligent cleaning practices (water ingress, harmful chemical etc)
    The above includes consequential damage to any other goods, furnishings, or property.

  • Normal wear and tear and consumable parts (HEPA fi lters, UV-C lamps, fuses, motor brushes etc)

  • This warranty does not displace any statutory warranty in relation to the dryer but any liability of SPL (2021) Limited under any statutory warranty will be limited to a replacement or repair of the dryer or payment of the cost of such replacement or repair at the sole discretion of SPL (2021) Limited
