Precaution
WARNING – To guard against injury, basic safety precautions should be observed including the following:
- Use this product for its intended purpose only.
- Do not touch the transformer with wet hands.
- Turn off the power before cleaning the lamp.
- Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children. To avoid possible electric shock, special care should be taken since water is employedin the use of aquarium equipment.
- Do not install or store the appliances where it will be exposed to the weather or to temperatures below freezing.
- Do not operate any appliance if it has a damaged cord or plug, or if it is malfunctioning or if it is damaged in any manner.
- Read and observe all the important notices on the appliance.
- For your own safety, we recommend forming a drip loop with the connection cable to prevent any water running along the cable from intruding into the socket. When using a multiple socket or an external power supply unit, position them atop the filter’s power connection.
Installation
Please verify that all components of the light fixture are undamaged before
putting it into operation.
Before any kind of maintenance, always disconnect the electrical power supply.
- Make sure the light fixture is mounted correctly and securely positioned on the aquarium before operating the appliance.
- Plug in DC power supply into a G.F.C.l approved outlet and ensure a drip loop is in place for all cables (see precaution page for drip loop).
Disposal Information (For EU countries only)
The symbol shown as follows, applied to the product or on its package, at the end of life, the product must not be thrown away, or disposed into domestic waste!
