PE pipe, PE pipe, PP-C pipe, PE-RT pipe, and PB pipe, etc. This kind of microdigital welding machine is equipped with an industrial-grade single-chip microcomputer to control and display temperature, and overheat alarms. It has excellent features of controlling the temperature precisely and flexibly. The handle is made of engineering rubber with good insurability and can resist high temperatures. In addition, all the sockets are covered with American famous coatings Teflon, to protect the plastic pipes from adhering, these micro digital welding machines can ensure the plastic pipes against leakage and break, and they are necessary pipeline tools.

OPERATION

  1. Place the machine on the workbench and attach the appropriate sockets. Place the welding tool on the bracket, and fix it using the appropriate wrench, smaller sockets are usually placed at the front and large sockets at the rear.
  2. Connect to the power supply (the power supply must be equipped with a Residual Current Device), and adjust the temperature according to the plastic pipes concerned. Set the temperature by pressing the SET key for 2 seconds, and then pressing the ^ button continuously to increase the temperature gradually. Press the button to decrease the temperature. Press the SET button to display the temperature. The red light indicates the temperature is rising, during the preheating stage. The green light indicates the temperature is maintained. You can start the welding process when the device reaches the desired operating temperature.
  3. Welding pipes Cut the plastic pipes vertically using the appropriate cutting tools, then place the pipes and fittings into the sockets.
  4. Remove the tubes and fittings from the sockets after the respective heating time has elapsed. Connect the pipes and fittings when the cooling process has been completed.

Note
If the environment temperature is below 5 °C, please extend the heating time or set the welding temperature higher.

CAUTION!

  1. When operating, do not touch the heating plate by hand or the flammable materials to avoid accidents.
  2. Do not open the machine to avoid electric shock and damage to the machine.
  3. If the red light is abnormal for a long time and the temperature is not displayed, this indicates a malfunction, please stop working and switch off the machine immediately.
  4. If the green light is on but the temperature is low, this indicates a malfunction, please switch off the machine immediately.
  5. If the machine does not work, contact an authorized service center. Do not disassemble or modify the unit.
  6. Fix the sockets to the machine using the Allen wrench. Take care not to damage the thread.

TROUBLESHOOTING AND MAINTENANCE

  1. If you notice that the red light does not work properly for a long time and the temperature is not displayed, this is usually due to a damaged resistor and the heating plate should be replaced with a new one.
  2. In case you switch on the tool while the green light is on but the heating plate does not heat up, this is mainly due to the following reasons:
    • A. The sensor welding points are open.
    • B. Control board failure.
  3. If the red and green lights operate abnormally:
    • A. Check if the copper power line wire inside the handle has been cut.
    • B. Check if the plug of the power cord is securely connected.
    • C. The control board may be damaged.
  4. During operation, please pay close attention to protecting the cable and plug, as the cable and plug are not covered by the warranty.
