Safety Information

Before operating this appliance, please ensure that you read & understand all the instructions that apply to it as failure to comply with these instructions may result in personal injury to other person, and also increase the risk of fire of electrical shock. Attention: Before assembly and starting operation, read the operating instructions carefully.
Check that the mains voltage corresponds to the details on the type plate.
Only connect to a proper 220-240 volt, 50/60Hz socket.
Pull the mains plug out of the socket when: the unit is not in use, before opening the unit, before cleaning and maintenance.
Never clean with solvents.
Do not use the cable to pull the plug out of the socket.
When unit is ready for use, do not leave unattended.
Safeguard from children.
Care must be taken that the mains connection lead is not damaged by being driven over, crushed stretched, etc.
The unit must not be operated if the mains connection lead is not in perfect condition.
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its service agent to a similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
On no account vacuum: burning matches, glowing ashes and cigarette ends, inflammable, corrosive, fire hazard or explosive substances, vapours and liquids.
This unit is not suitable for vacuuming dust which is damaging to health.
Store the unit in a dry place.
Do not operate a defected unit.
Servicing only by an authorized after-sales service point.
Use only for operations for which the unit is intended.
Take great care when cleaning stairs.
Use only manufacturer’s attachments and spare parts.
This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
Children shall not play with the appliance.

Operating instructions

Wet vacuum cleaning
Unplug before change filter (Figure 1)
Pull the supplied foamed plastic filter over the filter basket (Figure 2) for wet vacuum-cleaning.
Insert the plug and turn on the switch, then appliance starts to work (Figure 4 & 5a or 5b)

parts2 Dry vacuum cleaning
Unplug before change filter (Figure 1), then take out the bag and empty the dust or replace the bag. Slip the dust bag onto the socket(figure 2) for dry vacuum-cleaning.
Insert the plug and turn on the switch, then appliance starts to work (Figure 5 & 6a or 6b)

Maintenance and care

Unplug before maintenance (Figure 1)
Take off the foamed plastic filter (Figure 3), and wash by water (Figure 5)
IMPORTANT: Do not use detergents to clean the filter. The filter must be thoroughly dry before the machine is used.

Repairs

Only use accessories and spare parts recommended by the manufacturer. If the equipment should fail some day in spite of our quality controls and your maintenance, only have it repaired by an authorized electrician.

Correct disposal of this product

This marking indicates that this product should not be disposed with other household wastes throughout the EU. To prevent possible harm to the environment or human health from uncontrolled waste disposal, recycle it responsibly to promote the sustainable  reuse of material resources. To return your used devilce, please use the return and collection systems or contact the retailer where the product was purchased. They can take this product for environmental safe recycling.
The electrical appliances have been manufactured according to strict standards, set by our company, which are aligned with the respec ve European quality standards. The electrical appliances of our company are provided with a warranty period of 24 months for non-professional use, 12 months for professional use and 6 months for ba eries. The warranty is valid from the date of purchase of the product. Proof of the warranty right is the purchase document of the appliance (retail receipt or invoice). Under no circumstances shall the company cover the relevant cost of spare parts and respec ve required working hours unless a copy of the purchase document is presented. In case the repair has to be done by our service department the cost of transporta on (to and from) is en rely borne by the sender (client). The electrical appliances must be sent for repair to the company or to an authorized workshop in the appropriate way and means of transport.
WARRANTY EXEMPTIONS AND RESTRICTIONS:

  1. Spare parts that wear out naturally as a consequence of being used (brushes, cables, switches, chargers, chokes etc.).
  2. Electrical appliances damaged as a result of non-compliance with the instruc ons of the manufacturer.
  3. Electrical appliances poorly maintained.
  4. Electrical appliances given to third en es free of charge.
  5. Damage due to an electrical connec on at a voltage other than that indicated on the appliance plate.
  6. Connec on to a non-earthed power supply.
  7. Change in current voltage.
  8. Damage resul ng from the use of salty water.
  9. Damage or malfunc on resul ng from improper cleaning procedure of the appliance.
  10. Contact of the electrical appliance with chemicals, or damage as a result of moisture or corrosion.
  11. Electrical appliances that have been modifi ed or opened by unauthorized personnel.
  12. Electrical appliances used for rent.

The warranty covers only the free of charge replacement of the component that presents a manufacturing defect or material failure. In case of lack of a specifi c spare part the company reserves the right to replace the electrical appliance with another corresponding model. A er all warranty procedures have been concluded, the warranty period of the electrical appliance shall not be extended or renewed. Τhe replacement of a spare part, along with repair charge, is covered by a 1 year warranty of good opera on, provided that the warranty terms are met. The spare parts or electrical appliances that are replaced remain in the possession of our company. Requirements, other than those men oned in this warranty form, regarding the repair of electrical appliances or damage thereof, do not apply. Greek law and rela ve regula ons apply to this warranty.
WARRANTY
This appliance is a quality product. It was designed in compliance with current technical standards and made carefully using normal, good quality materials. The warranty period is 24 months for non-professional use and 12 months for professional use and commences on the date of purchase, which can be verified by the receipt, invoice or delivery note. During this warranty period all func- tional errors, which, despite the careful treatment described in our operating manual, are verifiably due to material flaws, will be rectified by our after-sales service staff. The warranty takes the form that defective parts will be repaired or replaced with perfect parts free of charge at our discretion. Replaced parts will become our property. Repair work or the replacement of individual parts will not extend the warranty period not will it result in a new warranty period be- ing commenced for the appliance. No separate warranty period will commence for spare parts that may be ted. We cannot offer a warranty for damage and defects on appliances or their parts caused by the use of excessive force, im- proper treatment and servicing. This also applies for failures to comply with the operating manual and the installation or spare and accessory parts that are not included in our range of products. In the event of interference with of modifica- tions to the appliance by unauthorized persons, the warranty will be rendered void. Damages that are attributable to improper handling, over loading, or nat- ural wear and tear are excluded from the guarantee. Damages caused by the manufacturer or by a material defect will be corrected at no charge by repair or by providing spare parts. The prerequisite is that the equipment is handed over assembled, and complete with the proof of sale and guarantee. For a guar- antee claim, only use the original packaging. That way, we can guarantee quick and smooth guarantee processing. Please send us the appliances post-paid or request a Freeway sticker. Unfortunately we will be unable te accept appliances that are not postpaid. The warranty does not cever parts that are subject to nat- ural wear and tear. If you wish to make a warranty claim, report faults or order spare parts or accessories, please contact the aft er- sales center: Subject to change without prior notice.
