OPERATION
Using the spray gun (fig. 1)
- This tool is designed to operate on clean, dry, compressed air at regulated pressures between 3.0-4.0 bar.
- Inspect the tool for damaged or worn parts and replace any damaged or worn parts.
- Make sure that the trigger and nozzle functions properly.
- Keep the tool at an appropriate distance from the workpiece. A suitable distance is 15-20 cm, depending on the air pressure and the task at hand.
- Hold the spray gun perpendicular to the workpiece and move it back and forth in parallel, horizontal lines.
- The trigger should be released before the spraying movement is ended.
- Start moving the spray gun.
- Squeeze the trigger.
- Release the trigger.
- Stop moving the spray gun.
Important: Too high or too low air pressure can damage the tool and give
an unsatisfactory result. Adjustment
The desired pattern, volume of fluid output and fine spraying can easily be
adjusted by regulating the pattern adjusting knob and fluid adjusting knob.
Adjusting the pattern: Turning the pattern adjusting knob to the right until
tight will make the spray pattern round. Turning the knob left will make the
spray pattern elliptical.
Adjusting the volume of fluid output: Turn the fluid adjusting knob clockwise
to reduce the volume of fluid output and counter-clockwise to increase fluid
output.
MAINTENANCE
- Pour remaining paint into another container and clean the paint ducts and air cap. Spray a small amount of thinner to clean the paint ducts. Inadequate cleaning can cause incorrect patterns and also lead to particles entering the paint. Thoroughly clean the spray gun immediately after using two‐component paint.
- Clean the other parts with the provided brush soaked in thinner and with a soft cloth.
- Clean the paint ducts fully before dismantling the spray gun.
- Remove the paint needle before removing the paint nozzle, otherwise the tool may be damaged.
Attention:
- Never spray foods or chemicals with the spray gun.
- Never pick at the nozzle or needle with metal wires or other hard objects. This will damage them.
- Never immerse the spray gun in solvent or other fluid. This will damage the air cap, paint nozzle and paint needle.
- Always clean all the parts before reassembling the tool.
