Read the following instructions for use carefully.
Use the product only as described and only for the given areas of application.
Store these instructions for use carefully. When passing the product on to
third parties, please also hand over all accompanying documents.

Intended use
This product is suitable for outdoor use for the precise addition of water when mixing e.g. mortar, plaster, screed, concrete, adhesive or levelling compound. The product is intended for private use only and not for commercial use.

General caution sign, serves to identify dangers and hazards (e.g. risk of
strangulation, suffocation, injury, slipping or damage to property).

This signal word indicates a hazard with a high risk level, which, if not
avoided, can result in death or serious injury.

Safety information
- The product is not a toy.
Life-threatening hazard!
- Never leave children unattended with the packaging materials. There is a risk of suffocation.
- This product may be used by children 8 years of age and older, as well as by persons with diminished physical, sensory or mental abilities, or those with little experience and knowledge, if they are supervised or instructed with regard to its safe use, and provided they also understand the potential associated risks. Children must not be allowed to play with the product. Cleaning and maintenance must not be performed by children without supervision.

- Make sure that all components of the product are undamaged and assembled in accordance with these instructions for use before each use. Incorrect assembly may result in injury.

Water is not for drinking!
The water that flows through this product is not suitable for drinking.
- WARNING! Never direct the flow of water at people or animals!
- WARNING! Never direct the flow of water at electrical devices!
- For outdoor use only.
- No changes may be made to the product!
Preventing damage to the product!
- The product is suitable for use with cold water only.
- Check the product for damage or wear before each use. Use the product only if it is in perfect condition!
- Disassemble the product and always dry it before opening the battery compartment.
- Assemble and disassemble the product only if the water tap is closed.
- Always close the water outflow point (water tap) after using the product.
- Do not expose the product to direct and constant sunlight.
- Protect the product from frost.
- Observe the information on water temperature and operating pressure (see “Technical data”).
- Only connect compatible and undamaged hoses to the product.
- Clean the device connection from time to time to ensure a sealed hose connection.
Battery warning notes!
- Remove the batteries when they are flat or if the product is not in use for an extended period.
- Do not use different types or brands of battery or new and used batteries together or batteries with different capacities as these can leak and cause damage.
- Ensure the polarity (+/-) is correct when inserting the batteries.
- Replace all batteries at the same time and dispose of the old batteries as prescribed.
- Warning! Batteries must not be charged or reactivated by other means, taken apart, thrown into a fire or short-circuited.
- Always keep batteries out of reach of children.
- Do not use rechargeable batteries!
- Cleaning and maintenance must not be performed by children without supervision.
- Clean the battery and device contacts as needed and before inserting.
- Do not expose the batteries to extreme conditions (e.g. radiators or direct sunlight). Otherwise there is an increased risk of leakage.
- Warning. Used batteries must be immediately disposed of. Keep new and used batteries out of reach of children. If there is cause to suspect that batteries have been swallowed or have entered the body, seek medical help immediately.
Danger!
- Handle damaged or leaking batteries with extreme caution and dispose of them properly as soon as possible. Wear gloves when doing so.
- If you come into contact with battery acid, wash the affected area with soap and water. If battery acid gets in your eye, rinse it with water and seek medical attention immediately!
- The connection terminals must not be short-circuited.
Use (Fig. A/B)
Warning! The product may only be connected to a drinking water outlet
with a safety device that corresponds to at least TYPE HD in accordance with
EN 1717 (backflow preventer with pipe ventilation).
Note: appropriate adapters are available from specialised dealers.

Screw the water outlet (2) and water connection (3) to the water dosing device (1).

Connect the water hose (not included in the package contents) to the water tap.

Connect the other end of the water hose to the water connection (3) of the product. Note: the hose connection must audibly click into place.

Check that it is firmly secured.
Note: if required, a piece of hose can also be connected to the water outlet (2). -
Turn the tap on just a little at first and increase the water pressure evenly.

Turn off the water supply by closing the tap when you no longer need the product.
Note: the product turns off automatically after approx. 1 minute when it is longer being used. Deflating the product
Note: after each connection to the water hose, allow the air to escape from the product before putting it into operation. -
To switch the product on, press the START/ PAUSE button (1f).

Use the man/00.0 button (1c) to set the display to 0.0.

Press down the START/PAUSE button until the water flows continuously.
Adjusting the dosage
Adjust the dosage using the +/- buttons (1e/1g).
Note: the water amount can be adjusted incrementally (in 0.1 increments).
Press and hold the button for faster flow.
Start dosing
- To start dosing, press the START/PAUSE button (1f).
- Hold the product in your hand to dose the water or hang it on the mixing container or a bucket using the hook (1a).
Note: the dosing process can be interrupted if necessary. To do this,
press the START/PAUSE button. The dosing process will continue from where it
finished by pressing the button again.
Storing the dosage
Note: frequently used dosages can be stored using the m1/m2 buttons
(1h/1d).
- Adjust the desired dosage using the +/- buttons (1e/1g).
- Press and hold the m1 or m2 button for approx. two seconds until the value flashes on the LC display (1b) and is thus saved.
- Press the m1 or m2 button to call up the stored value on the LC display.
Manual dosing
First, press the man/00.0 button (1c) and then the START/PAUSE button (1f).
The water runs for as long as you keep the START/PAUSE button pressed. The
amount of water dispensed is shown on the LC display (1b).
Change unit of measurement
Note : the product is factory-set to litres.
The product can be used with three different units of measurement: litres, US
quarts and US gallons.
- Press and hold the man/00.0 button (1c) for approx. five seconds until “0 ” appears on the LC display (1b).
- Use the +/- buttons (1e/1g) to set the number that corresponds to the desired unit of measurement: 100 = litres 200 = US quarts 300 = US gallons. Confirm each digit with the START/PAUSE button (1f).
- Press the START/PAUSE button again to save the set unit of measurement.

Inserting/replacing batteries (Fig. C)
WARNING! Observe the following instructions to avoid mechanical and
electrical damage.
To insert and replace the batteries (4), proceed as shown in Fig. C.
Note: you will need a suitable screwdriver (not included in the package
contents).
Note: check the plus/minus poles of the batteries and insert them
correctly.
The batteries must be completely inside the battery holder.
Storage, cleaning
- When not in use, always store the product dry, clean, without batteries and at room temperature.
- The product must be stored completely dry and without water residue to avoid mould growth.
- The product must be switched off for cleaning.
- Clean the product with a slightly dampened, lint-free cloth.
- Do not use harsh cleaners, brushes with metal or nylon bristles or any sharp-edged or metallic cleaning items such as knives, hard scrapers and the like. These could damage the surfaces.
Disposal
The accompanying symbol indicates that this device complies with Directive
2012/19/EU. This directive indicates that you may not dispose of this device
along with basic household waste at the end of its useful life and instead
must hand it in to specifically designated collection sites, valuable
substance collection stations, or waste disposal facilities.
Look after the environment and dispose of waste properly.
Batteries may not be disposed of with household waste. They may contain toxic
heavy metals and are subject to hazardous waste treatment. The chemical
symbols of the heavy metals are as follows: Cd = cadmium, Hg = mercury, Pb =
lead.
Dispose of used batteries at a municipal collection site.
For further information about disposal of the product no longer needed,
contact your local council. Dispose of the product and the packaging in an
environmentally friendly manner. Store the packaging materials (foil bags, for
example) out of the reach of children.
Note the label on the packaging materials when separating waste, as these are
labelled with abbreviations (a) and numbers (b) with the following meaning:
1–7: plastics / 20–22: paper and cardboard /
80–98: composite materials.
The product and the packaging materials can be recycled, dispose of them
separately for better treatment of waste.
Notes on the guarantee andm service handling
The product was produced with great care and under continuous quality control.
DELTA-SPORT HANDELSKONTOR GmbH gives private end customers a three-year
guarantee on this product from the date of purchase (guarantee period) in
accordance with the following provisions. The guarantee is only valid for
material and manufacturing defects. The guarantee does not cover parts that
are subject to normal wear and tear and that are thus considered wear parts
(e.g. batteries) and it does not cover fragile parts such as switches or parts
that are made of glass. Claims under this guarantee are excluded if the
product has been used incorrectly, improperly, or contrary to the intended
purpose, or if the provisions in the instructions for use were not observed,
unless the end customer proves that a material or manufacturing defect exists
that was not caused by one of the aforementioned circumstances.
Claims under the guarantee can only be made within the guarantee period by
presenting the original sales receipt. Please therefore keep the original
sales receipt. The guarantee period is not extended by any repairs carried out
under the guarantee, under statutory guarantees, or as a gesture of goodwill.
This also applies to replaced and repaired parts.
If you wish to make a claim please first contact the service hotline mentioned
below or contact us by e-mail. If there is a guarantee case, then the product
will be repaired or replaced free of charge to you or the purchase price will
be refunded, depending on our hoice.
There are no further rights from the guarantee.
Your legal rights, in particular guarantee claims against the respective
seller, are not limited by this guarantee.
