Product Usage Instructions
Quick Start Setup
- Connect the Coaxial Cable from LNB to LNB IN.
- Connect the HDMI Cable from HDMI to HDMI Input on the TV.
- Connect the AV Cable to the AV Input on the TV.
- Connect the Power Supply to DC 12V.
Front View
- On/Standby: Switch STB to On or Standby.
- Menu: Switch to the main Menu.
- OK: Select or confirm.
- CH-: Navigate the channel down.
- CH+: Navigate the channel up.
- LED Display: Display Running Station.
Rear View
- USB: 2 USB 2.0 Interfaces for upgrade and PVR.
- LNB IN: Connect via coaxial cable to a dish to receive digital broadcasts.
- HDMI: Connect the HDMI cable to the HDMI input of the TV.
- AV: Connect to the Audio Video input of the TV.
- Coaxial: Audio signal output.
- DC Power: Connect the 12V power adapter.
Remote Control Unit
- Email: Jump to the email menu.
- Power: Switches the product to on or standby.
- FAV: Turns on Favorite Menu.
- SAT: Select the Satellite/Jump to a special time during media play.
- TEXT: Display Teletext information.
- SUB: Display subtitle information.
- Rewind: Play fast backward with x2, x4, x6, x8, x16.
Installation Setup Guide
Basic Channel Function
TV Channels List allows users to manage their favorite channels, and lock, And unlock channels.
- Press MENU from the remote control.
- Use the arrow keys to choose Channel List.
- Select TV Channels List and press OK.
- Select desired channels and press OK.
- To save, press the Save button and confirm the selection.
Locking Channels
To set Channel Lock to ON:
- In the main Menu screen, select System and then Parental Lock.
- Select Channel Lock and switch ON or OFF channel lock function.
FAQ
- Q: Can I connect this receiver to a Wi-Fi network?
- A: No, this model does not support Wi-Fi connectivity. It relies on cable connections for operation.
IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read and follow all instructions, heed all warnings to avoid damaging your STB device and other device Place the STB on a durable standstill table to prevent the STB from falling. Avoid stacking the STB on top or below of any electronic devices.
- Follow the type of power source indicated on the label marking.
- Do not place or operate the STB near water or wet surfaces.
- Always unplug the AC power of the STB before cleaning it. Use dry clean cloth only.
- Install according to instructions. Use only recommended accessories.
- Do not place near any heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other apparatus (including amplifiers) that produce heat.
- Do not defeat the safety purpose of the polarized plug. If the provided plug does not fit into your outlet, consult an electrician for the replacement of the obsolete outlet.
- Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched.
- Check all connections if properly inserted/fitted before turning the power on.
- U unplug the STB from the outlet and the antenna connection during lightning storms or when unused for long periods of time.
- Refer all servicing to authorized service personnel. Users are not allowed to open or remove the STB cover because this will void the warranty and to prevent from electric shock.
- Hold and grip the power plug to disconnect it from the power outlet, not the cord.
- The ventilation holes should not be covered with items such as newspapers, tablecloths, curtains, etc. to prevent the STB from overheating.
- No naked flame sources, such as lighted candles, lighter, and matches should be placed on the STB.
- Attention should be drawn to the environmental aspects of battery disposal.
- Use the STB with moderate temperature surroundings and prevent the risk of serious injury to yourself and others.

- The Space DSD320-FTA, Satellite Receiver is supplied with a 12-month manufacturer guarantee from the date of purchase, to be free from any defects and to perform as specified (Please retain invoice as proof of purchase).
- Our Space Television (PTY) LTD standard warranty does not cover lightning damage, power surge, water ingress, and tampering.

Quick Start Setup
- unpack the Decoder and all accessories.
- Insert supplied Batteries into the Remote Control.
- Connect incoming satellite feed to decoder LNB IN connector and secure (Step 1).
- Connect the HDMI Cable from the HDMI port on the Decoder to an available HDMI input on the Television set (Step 2).
- Should the Television set not be equipped with an HDMI input connect the decoder to the Television set by making use of the AV/V Cable (Step 3).
- Connect from AV on the Decoder to AV / RCA inputs on the TV set
- to ensure That the Colors on RCA plugs (Red / White / Yellow ) are matched with the colors on the sockets on the Television set.
- Connect the Power Supply to DC 12V input on the Decoder and connect to the Power wall socket (Step 4).
- Turn on the Television Set and select Input / Source to which the Decoder has been connected.
- The decoder will proceed to complete the automated scan on startup.
- Information should be displayed on the Television screen.

- Fast forward: Play fast forward with x2,x4,x6,x8,x16, and X32 times of Speed, taking effect in PVR playback.
- PREV: switch to the previous video.
- NEXT: switch to the next video.
- REC: record the program.
- PLAY/PAUSE: Starts or pauses media play.
- STOP: Stops media play/ Stop recording the program.
- USB: Jump to usb menu.
- EPG: (electronic Program Guide) Displays the channel program list.
- MENU: Turns on the main Menu.
- LEFT/RIGHT: Direction buttons or Adjust volume.
- UP/DOWN: Direction buttons or Switch channels.
- OK: Select to confirm.
- AUDIO: Sets audio to stereo, mono, left or right.
- EXIT: Exit the current menu or return to the previous menu.
- VOL+/VOL-: Adjusts volume.
- MUTE: Mute or restore audio Output.
- INFO: Displays additional channel information.
- CH+/CH-: Channel up/down.
- 0-9(Number Key): Select a channel or setting.
- TV/Radio: Switches channels between TV channels and Radio channels.
- VIDEO MODE: Switch video resolution.
Installation Setup Guide
- Please wait for the STB to initialize and follow the on-screen instructions. After the welcome logo, a Channel/Satellite scan will appear.
- Please wait until the Satellite scan is finished. This may take a few minutes. After the scan has successfully completed, continue by pressing the
button. - STB will display the TV channel list. Enjoy and experience your favorite TV programs
Basic Channel Function :
ADDING FAVORITE CHANNELS
TV Channels List:
Displays list of channels, users can manage their favorite channels, and lock
and unlock channels.
- Press
- Use keys and choose Channel List.
- Look for the TV Channels List and press the
key. - While in the TV Channels List screen, choose the desired channel and press the
key. - After adding all your favorite channels, press the
key and a pop-up “SAVE” message will appear. Use the buttons and choose then press .
Locking Channels
Make sure to set the Channel Lock to “ON”.
From the main Menu screen, use the keys to select “System”. And then select
“Parental Lock” and then
press
or OFF channel lock function, and then press
- While in the main Menu screen, use the keys to choose Channel List.
- Look for the TV Channels List and press
. - While in the TV Channels List screen, use keys to select a channel to be locked. Press the
key and input your 4-digit PIN code then press the key and a pop-up “SAVE” message will appear. Use the <> buttons and choose “Yes” then press .
LIST of Channels :
While watching, press the <OK/List> key, and then the “ALL” menu screen will
appear displaying all TV or Radio channels available. Use the keys to find and
select a new channel, then press
EPG (Electronic Program Guide)
Displays the lists of current and upcoming TV programs on all available channels.
- While watching, open the EPG menu screen by pressing the
key. Press keys to finding and select a channel, press thenpress .
Channel Information Bar
Displays Channel Information currently being watched. It is displayed when

- To adjust the channel bar display timeout and transparency, press
and then select “OSD Setting”. Use keys and then select “OSD Transparency”. Adjust your desired timeout and transparency of the channel bar.
PVR FUNCTION
- When a USB drive is connected to this unit, while watching TV channels press PVR to start recording video from the channel to USB. Press the STOP button to stop recording.
- Personal video recorder (PVR) is a feature enabling you to record live TV.
There are two ways to use it
- Insert a USB storage device in the USB port and press the REC button on the RCU.
- Schedule a specific program you want to record using the blue button or from within the EPG
TIMESHIFT FUNCTION
- The Time Shift function allows you to reserve part of the USB disk space and ensures a continuous background recording of the selected channel. Time Shift allows you to pause watching or rewind recording back and resume viewing from the missed point.
- After you activate the channel recording, press the PAUSE button on the RCU. The time Shift function is activated, at the bottom of the screen will be a status bar with countdown. Now you can rewind the recorded video by pressing the REV /FWD buttons and set it to pause by pressing the PAUSE button. To disable Time Shift, press the EXIT button on the RCU and then press OK to confirm the operation.
