Power-on connection

Connect the power supply

Plug the power cord into the power interface on the back of the printer
Power on
Press the power button to turn on the printer. When the power indicator light is on, the printer’s Wi-Fi will automatically connect, and the power indicator light is white for a long time.

How to connect the phone skin printer with the mobile APP: Connect as follows when first using the phone skin printer return zon the printer and configure the network
Plug the power cord into the power interface, and press the power button for 1 second, the power indicator light is always on in white. Wi-Fi indicator light flashes in orange while waiting for Wi-Fi connection.
Note: if the Wi-Fi indicator light is not always on, please reset the printer network by pressing the Wi-Fi button on the back of the printer 3 times in quick succession. After the reset is successful, the Wi-Fi indicator light will be on in orange.

Power-on and connection

Install the “RS Printer” APP
Use the browser to scan the QR code at the bottom of the printer to download and install the “RS Printer” APP. Users who have installed the “RS Printer” APP already will be guided to the connection page.

Add printer
Open the RS Printer” APP (Phone skin printer), register and log in to your account, and add and connect devices according to the prompts in the APP.
Note:
Please make sure that the printer Wi-Fi indicator light is blue and always on, and keep your mobile phone and the printer connect to the same Wi-Fi to enable a successful connection. In addition, if the “RS Printer” APP needs to be upgraded and updated, the actual operation may be slightly different from the above. Please update it to the
the latest version first, and then follow the instructions of the “RS Printer” APP for operation.

User Guide
Use the browser to scan the QR code on the product appearance to access H5 customization page; Click “Custom Now”, select the model and picture, adjust the size, click “Confirm Printing” to submit the picture for printing, and save the QR code/Order number

Manual for Shop Assistant
Open [RS Printer) App, register and log in to your account to access the printer interface; Enter the order number or scan the QR code and enter the interface of “Inquiry” Click “Print'” if there is no error. Click “Queuing” to view order progress or historical orders.

Note: If you have more than one printer connected, you can switch printers by clicking the “Switch” symbol on the top at the order printing page. How to connect the Plotter to the phone skin printer: Enter the main interface of the plotter and access the menu of [Print at will register and login][Phone Skin Printer, enter the “RS Printer” customization page connect plotter and phone skin printer (refer to the method of connecting your mobile phone APP with the phone skin printer)input the customer order number access the preview interface, click [Print]->return to the main interface of the plotter for cutting

Note: If the plotter needs to be upgraded and updated, the actual operation may be slightly different from the above. Please update it to the latest version first and then follow the customization instructions of the “RS Printer” for operation.

Use

Working position
When printing, the phone skin will be printed back and forth, so please ensure to keep a space of 10 cm or more behind the printer.
Tip: the paper will go many times

Storage
When you do not use the printer, please place the paper cassette on the top of the printer to save space, and keep it away from high temperatures and humidity

Note:
When not in use for a long time, it is recommended to remove the paper cassette, and close the door, holder and lid to prevent dust from entering, otherwise it may affect the printing quality of the next photo or even be unable to print.

Instructions for key operation

Tip: when the factory setting is reset successfully, all indicator lights of the printer will light up and flash for 2 seconds at the same time. When the network reset is successful, the printer’s Wi-Fi indicator light and “Direct connection (Wi-Fi) indicator ight will light up and flash for 2 seconds at the same time. Printing wll not be interrupted by short or long presses on the power button during printing. The upgrade will not be interrupted by a short or long press on the power button during the firmware upgrade status. In case of failure, short press the power button to turn oft the printer, then turn it on again and the printer will try to repair the failure automatically. If you are unable to turn off the printer, please restart it by poking the reset hole at the back of the printer with a pin. The network can only be reset when the printer is on standby, or a failure occurs.

Power indicator light

Before printing, make sure that your mobile phone and the printer are connected to the same network and that the Wi-Fi indicator light is always on in blue.
Tip: Please refer to the prompt on page 3 for detailed steps. Download and install the APP, and connect your mobile phone and printer according to the APP prompt.

Cautions

The printer can print about 2000 times. Please follow the instructions to maintain it in order so as to prolong its service life.
The best printing temperature is 10-35, and the relative humidity is 409%6-609%. If the ambient temperature and humidity are not suitable, printing quality may be affected.
For ensuring print quality, please do not use unofficial ribbons or phone skin.
Do not touch the glossy surface of the phone skin to prevent fingerprints, otherwise, print quality will be affected.
When printing, please make sure that the glossy surface of the phone skin is upward and flat in the paper tray, and install the paper tray on the front of the printer
There should be no obstructions at the paper outlet. The printing effect will be affected if the phone’s skin is blocked.
During printing, the phone skin needs to go back and forth four times and will be pushed out automatically after printing is over Thus, please wait patiently and do not pull it out forcibly to avoid damaging the printer.
Due to the thermal dye sublimation printing technology, the printer head will be heated up during printing, and the temperature will last for a period after the printing, so do not touch the printer head to avoid burns.
It is normal that slight differences exist in the colors printed due to different printers and phone skins.
If you do not use the printer for the long term, it is recommended to remove the paper tray, and close the tray door, tray holder and cover to to prevent dust from entering. Otherwise, the print quality of the first photo next time will be affected.
When storing the unused phone skin in the printer, please avoid hot and humid environment.
Do not use adapters other than the original one, as it may cause damage.
Do not use this adapter for other devices to avoid damage.
Do not unplug the power adapter during printing or upgrading, otherwise, it may cause paper jams or damage to the printer.
