Product Usage Instructions

Unlocking the Smart Padlock:
Enter the main page of the smart padlock and slide the Key icon from the left to the Lock icon position. If Bluetooth is disconnected, place your finger on the fingerprint area to wake up the padlock and then tap to connect the device via Bluetooth. -
Adding Fingerprints:
Click on Member Management, then Me in the app. Follow the guide to place your finger on the fingerprint reading area five times to add your fingerprint. -
Sharing Unlock Permissions:
Click on Temporary, then in the upper right corner, click + to set up temporary unlocking sharing. Share this with visitors ensuring their account is registered in the same app with the correct information. -
Resetting:
Click the edit icon at the top right corner of the main page. Click Remove the device and then Disconnect and wipe data to reset the smart padlock. Ensure the padlock is connected to wipe all data. If not connected, data deletion may not occur.
Attention:
- Press the Fingerprint recognition area to wake up the padlock for connection.
- If unlocking fails initially but succeeds after a few attempts, replace batteries promptly.

A: Ensure you wake up the padlock by pressing the Fingerprint recognition area and follow instructions to connect. -
Q: How many fingerprints can be stored?
A: Up to five fingerprints can be stored for unlocking.

- Scan the following QR Code to download the “Tuya Smart” App
- Turn on the Bluetooth of the phone, log in to the App, and grant access to the Bluetooth to the App by clicking “Me’, then clicking the “Setting” icon at the top right corner, and then clicking “Privacy Settings”.
- Press “Fingerprint recognition area” in the padlock to wake it up and then you can add it by clicking the “Add Device” as follows
Setup

Enter into the main page of the smart padlock, you can unlock it by sliding the Key icon at the bottom from the left to the position of the Lock icon.
Attention: If the Bluetooth is disconnected, please place your finger on the fingerprint area to wake up the smart padlock and then click the “Tap to connect the device” to connect the Bluetooth of the device. -
Add Fingerprints: Click “Member Management”-Click “Me” and follow up the guide in the App to place your finger on the fingerprint reading area five time to add this fingerprint.

Share unlock permissions
- Click “Temporary”- Click in the upper right corner “+” to set up the temporary unlocking sharing. Click “Share” to share this with visitors.
- Attention: Please make sure the visitor’s account is registered in the same App and the account information is right.

Resetting: Click the edit icon at the top right corner of the main page, click “Remove the device” and then click “Disconnect and wipe data” to reset the smart padlock.
- Attention: Make sure to connect the smart padlock, so that you can wipe all data when you remove it. If the smart padlock is not connected, then you are only able to remove it but can’t wipe data. If data is not deleted, all registered fingerprints can still unlock the smart padlock.
ATTENTION:
- Make sure to press the “Fingerprint recognition area” in the padlock to wake it up so that it can be connected by the App.
- If you press the Fingerprint and fail to unlock the Smart Padlock, but you can unlock it after a few attempts, this means the batteries are at a low level, please replace the batteries right away by following up with photos as follows:
